My Birthday pressies 2026 🎂

And just like that, I celebrated another birthday! It really is scary how fast time goes by~ But, like every year, I am going to share a bit of how I celebrated and, what I received this year. You guys know, I love making this posts, hehe.

Since my birthday was on a weekday, I started celebrating the weekend before with a yummy lunch date at Cheescake Factory on Friday and a birthday brunch on Sunday.

On my actual birthday (June 03rd) I got a surprise breakfast delivery from my mom and sister and my boss suprised me with a cake at work, later that day. Even tho it was a busy day, it was a nice one.

The next day, wine night was bday edition, we had dinner, delish matcha-chocolate cupcakes and I opened my pressies. On Friday, my friends came over with ramyeon and flowers and that weekend I continued celebrating with family and friends.

Celebrations were great, I ate and drank A LOT and I just love spending time with people I love. I'm spoiled, hehe.

Now, we are going to move to the pressies, they are in no particular order but, I did try to separate them into groups to make this post a little shorter. 

We'll start with the clothes, they are all winkly tho, cuz of course, I couldn't be bothered to iron them for the pics. Plus, I had already worn some of them before.

I know I say these often but, I'm really bad at taking clothes pics. With that being said, let's do this!

These pieces came in a set and, I love them! It's the most comfortable outfit ever. 

I've been obsessed with the jeans! I always thought that cut wouldn't look good on me cuz I'm pretty short but, I was wrong. They are my favs atm.

Next, we have alcohol! I really love it when people give me alcohol, they just know. Hehe.

Last year, I decided to start reading more and, I've been recieving books and things to read ever since. I haven't had to buy many books really. And, I recieved some for my birthday too! I think I'm covered for a while, hehe.

I've been wanting a Derpy plushie for a while cuz he's my favorite ever and, I got him as a gift. He's the cutest and I love him so much.

I guess these were more like... celebration favors but I'm including them here cuz, they were super thoughtful and special considering this girl loves Halloween.

Does it make sense to put these goodies together? Idk

Cuz yeah, I'm still obsessed with everything sakura~

And, with that, we close this pressies posts. June is still a bit of an emotional month cuz my dad's birthday was only a couple of days after mine, and I just miss him. But, it felt really good to be surrounded by people I love, it made it easier.

My Birthday Pressies 2025 🎁💜

We were fooling around with filters and thought this would be perfect for this post, hehe.

As every year, here's my birthday pressies post. My birthday was on a Tuesday this year so I celebrated before and after the actual day because of work. My first celebration was with my family, everything was too pink with spooky activities, perfectly matching my 2 personalities, hehe. We ate, drank a lot and had a great time. On my actual brithday we met for brunch and continued with our working schedules.

The next day, my boss surprised me with a cake at work so, we had another celebration with my coworkers and students, it was really sweet.

And to close birthday week, I met with my besties on Friday and Saturday for lunch and loooooong and very needed catch-ups. It was fun! Plus, I really missed them.

Now let's move on to what I recieved this year, starting with the cakes, of course.

Moving on to the pressies, I'm gonna show them in no particular order:

I'm so not religious but, this was one of my favorites. Growing up I had some crosses and I used to wear them "the Buffy way" haha. I got rid of them with time so, it's kinda cool to have one again. And I actually love how it looks when I'm wearing it.

Part of my work is online so, the main idea of having these super pretty headphones is to use them for work, of course, that's not the only thing I'm gonna use them for. The sound is great and I think they make me look cool. A little...😅

Sakura socks! How cute are these? I love how the flower peeks depending on the shoes you're wearing.

Sakura cushion and air freshner(?). Cuz you know, I'm a sucker for everything sakura.

This year I also received these two, which was great because I'm kinda putting my office together and also trying to decorate my room. The white shelf is in my room now, it helps me to organize my stuff a lot bettet and decorate it at the same time and the chair is something I needed for work, the one I was previously using wasn't made for work at all and it was very uncomfortable, so I ended up working everywhere around the house but in the office. It's nice to work and have what I need in the same place now.

Cono Sur Bicicleta Merlot. It's a Chilean red wine I haven't tried yet. I really like the presentations and can't wait to try it!

Rangiku Matsumoto Funko Pop! Ain't she perfect? I think I'll dedicate a separate post to her, hehe.

Hello Kitty goodies can't be missed. The pen reminded me of my childhood SO much! The red candle smells like apples and it's delicious! Makes me think of Fall already, hehe. I also received a cute notebook, it has a great size to carry around and a hard cover, which I like.

The orange bag was made by my best friend's son, whom I adore, she put my pressies there so, it was extra special. Can't wait to wear all this pretty socks and let them peek out of my sneakers and stuff.

The ceramic pieces were made by my bestie and they are defo going to be part pf my coffee station decor. 
I find the ring in the middle witchy and magical, love it!
The Usagi enamel pin represents me, haha.

I also received some Sasuke goodies, 😍 he's my love. It's my first Sasuke tee ever.

Here's a look at both sides of the cup. One side has Sasuke through the years and the other one has Naruto.

Lastly, we have this super pretty sakura mini bowls. I don't think the picture really shows how cute they are in person.

I'm gonna include this here too. My mom and sister prepared goodie bags for us the day of my celebration. Of course it had to have some soju 🤤

And with that, we close this birthday post. This month still feels difficult and I've felt a little emotional because of my dad but, I can't be thankful enough for all the love, surpises, celebrations and sweet messages I received. I'm truly lucky and spoiled.

Birthday Pressies 2024 🎁🩷

 

I'm late with this post as usual but, here is my birthday post. This year my birthday was on a Monday (June 03rd) and since it is one of my busiest days, I started celebrating the weekend before. It all started with my family, lots of food, drinks, music & fun, then at work with my students and coworkers and last weekend I also celebrated with my friends.

It was really nice because I had surprises and celebrations before and after the actual day. As every year, I'm going to show you the pressies I recieved in no particular order. We're going to start with the cakes tho, cuz there's no bday celebration without cake. (or cakes! hehe)

First one was a mint-chocolate cake, next to it a strawberry cheesecake. Both were from my mom and sister. Next one was a cake a former student made for me, she decorated it with pink frosting cuz she knows, hehe. I shared that one with my students and the last one was the one I was supposed to eat with my friends but it had a little accident and died. I did have another cake but, for some reason, I don't have a pic of it.

Moving on to the pressies:

Sake my love! I received 2 bottles of Gekkeikan Sake. It was my frist time trying it and, I really, really liked it.

I love coffee but I usually drink instant because I'm lazy to make good coffee. Now I have no excuse, I received a coffee maker from Black + Decker which makes my life easier, hehe. I feel like my coffee station is a lot more complete now. It also came with some coffee 

Glue-on nails cuz you know, I'm a fan of fake nails since mine are never long enough or just pretty in general. These actually looked very natural.

Passion fruit chocolates and a coconut candle.

I know I already shared the cake but it came with a mini pink Bissú nail polish.

Here come some Sanrio goodies. Fist we have a Hello Kitty lip tint and a cute body cream and mist from Secret Scents. I can't tell the exact scent but it is soft and sweet.

Hello Kitty and My Melody are 2 of my fav Sanrio characters. Here we have some cute socks, hair band and a makeup bag.

Anime keychains! Osaki Nana and Sailor Moon ones.

Of course, we had some yummies too, these are mint-chocolate taffy. They are one of my favs!

This has to be one of my favs, a Barbie reusable bag. Love, love, love it! Most of my reusable bags aren't pretty so, I'm really excited to have a cute one now. 

I'll move on to some clothes now. Remember I'm not good at taking clothes pictures so, yeah.

I loved these wide-leg black pants, plus, they are very comfortable.

This green blouse has a very nice back but I didn't have time to take a nice pic of it, guess I'll show you later. Plus, I don't have many green pieces so, it'a a nice change.

First thing I thought when I saw these tweed pink shorts was: "Legally Blonde" 
I love them!

I feel like I always say this but, I really am lucky to have amazing people around me who are constantly showing me their love and support. This month is hard for me because it was also my dad's birthday and, father's day and I'm really thankful for everyone who makes it a little easier for me. I am so not excited to be a year older but, I feel like good things will come my way~! 💋
