Mini Wedding Chit Chat + Green & Gold Nails πŸ’š

On August 24th, two of my closest friends got married and I couldn't be happier for them. They are both the sweetest people and I've been a fangirl of their love story from the beginning (even before they officially started dating, hehe). Wedding was beautiful, relaxed, fun and full of happiness and love. Very them. Last time I went to a wedding I really cared about was back in 2012 when one of my cousins got married. So yeah, I loved being a part of their love story and sharing this moment with them.

 πŸ’š

The theme was green and succulents so of course I wanted to find pretty nails to match my green dress. At first I was planning to make a wedding look post, especially because I rarely wear green and I bought a green dress just for the wed but, I didn't take any dress or outfit pics.

Not the best pic but, this is the dress I wore with a black blazer
The wedding was in the afternoon so I kept the makeup and accessories pretty simple.

The nails were too pretty not to share so, yeah. As usual, these are glue-on nail, from Temu. I was between these and a darker set, both with gold details but honestly, green is not my favorite color so I liked these lighter ones a lot more.

I feel like the nails looks a little blue in pics but they are mint green with a pearlish finish to them. It also came with a couple of nude and gold nails. I liked them way more than I thought it would.

This set came with 24 medium almond shape nails, a small file and the sticker glue thingies. I'm starting to have way too many of those sticker things that now, I carry them in different bags just in case I need them.

Since not all nails were the same, I wanted to show you both hands.

I still find it hard to take decent nail pics.

Even tho these nails were very clean and pretty, durability wasn't that great, after wearing them for like 3 days, the pearlish cover started to peel on some nails, pearls fell and even the green color faded on the tips. I'm glad they looked great on the wedding day but, I wish they could've lasted longer. Oh well~

And, that's that guys. Hope you enjoyed this nail post with a twist, hehe.

See you next time~!πŸ’‹

Bat Glue-On NailsπŸ¦‡

Excuse the cat hair, oops!

If you've been here for a while, you know I am glue-on nails queen. They are fun, convenient and cheap. And the cool thing about buying some online is that you can find spooky designs or seasonal ones all year round.

As I have mentiones before, I've been obsessing with bats lately, it is the year of the bat for me, haha. These do-it-yourself  nails are from Temu (surprise, surprise!) and I think they are really pretty and magical somehow.

This set comes with 24 long, almond shape nails, a small file and some some sticker glue kind of thing. It's nice that they actually came with some glue since others I've gotten for more well-known brands haven't but, I'm always more comfortable using liquid glue and keep the stickers around in case of emergencies, I usually carry one set in my bag.

The desing is really pretty but they do look "printed" when you look at them closely. Nothing too bad really. I love the fact that they have this nude, natural color along with the black and white details. Especially because they are on the longer side. At least longer than what I'm used to wear.

Closer look to the bats and the design in general.

I know the design is upside down here but I wanted to show you how the nails look on my hands, they look so long, haha. But I kinda really like it. It took me a while to get used to doing thing with these longer nails tho.

I like them a lot ❤

Something I noticed is that the design doesn't fade and the tips still look good after weeks of wearing them (Yeah, these have been on for a few weeks now, hehe) and that is something that has happened with more expensive nails in the past.

Checking the other nails that were left, I was able to save another set for the future so, I might actually wait until October to wear them this time, hehe.

That's it for this post so, I'll see you next time~!! πŸ’‹

L.A. Colors: Glow In The Dark Nail Tip | Slim - Slimy |

I found these L.A. Colors: Glow In The Dark Nail Tip "Slim - Slimy"  for sale a while ago and couldn't resist. I was planning to wear them during Halloween season but, I couldn't wait until October, let's call them my Summerween nails, hehe.

I used to buy lots of L.A. Colors nail polishes many, many years ago but this was my first time trying they glue-on nails. I believe these were part of their Halloween collection last year.

This set comes with only 12 oval shaped nails and no glue, I used some nail glue I already had but, the fact that it only had 12 nails made it difficult to find the perfect size for each nail, that is something I didn't really like. I even had to cut and file one to make it fit. I wish they came with more nails like other brands but, oh well~

Even tho the design is pretty simple, I think it looks pretty cute. Love the slimy design on the tips and, since the colors are more on the bright side, they are perfect to wear all year round, not only on Halloween. Plus, I felt like they had the perfect lenght, I really liked them.

And, as the name says it, these nails glow in the dark, the green slime part does. At first I thought I wouldn't like that but, I actually love it. I'd defo buy more if I still find them. They are cute, comfortable and very affordable. Sadly this slimy part started to scrap really fast. It wasn't too bad from afar but, I didn't like seeing them like that.

Not the best pic but, I wanted to capture the glow in the dark part.

And well, that is that I think. I got other Halloween nails from this same brand. Maybe I'll end up sharing them before spooky season too, we never know!
I've been adding some spooky things to my everyday this year even if it's not October and I just love it! It makes me really happy!

See you next time~!πŸ’‹

Marble Nails 🩢

Long time no glue-on nails!

Last year I tried these nails from a dollar-like store (Prichos) and they were actually pretty good. They keep coming up with different desings but nothing that had caught my attention until I saw these. Maybe it's because I haven't been into pastel nails lately, idk. But I really liked these marble nails along with the grey ones. They look really clean and beautiful together so, I got them.

Same as the previous set, they are squared nails, my favorites. The set comes with 24 nails and liquid glue. Which is pretty good for the price I paid for these nails. They last for about a week.

I like the fact that they are thin, they feel a little more natural somehow and they are definitely comfortable. Plus, it's easier to cut and file them if you want to. The lenght is pretty decent too, it allows you do things without worrying about the nails, which is something I always appreciate.

Even tho I liked the lenght, I did cut them a little bit, I thought they looked better like that, at least on my hands.

This is how they looked with the original lenght

And this is how they look after cutting them a little

I'm deffo gonna buy more if I find other cute designs. I'm also tempted to get more like these because, I really liked them.

See  you next time~!πŸ’‹

Squashed Raspberry πŸ’…

Quick post to show you what's currently on my nails, it's the Flormar Full Color Nail Enamel in the shade "Squashed Raspberry" (FC13). This is an oldie that I think I haven't worn much. I was obsessed with this nail polishes years ago and I got many but I didn't share all of them here.

It's a bright berry red color that feels perfect for the Spring time. What I like about these nail polishes is that you don't need to apply too many coats to get a full, intense color. It has a shiny finish and dries kinda quickly.

Durability wise, it is ok. It lasts for about a week looking decent but it does need a couple of touch-ups here and there, especially if you do the dishes and stuff. Haha.
I have more of these nail polishes in pretty nice shades, I might share more in the future.

See you next time~! πŸ’‹

Natural Ombre Glue-On Nails

As part of my bday pressies, I received this glue-on nails from Shein. Thet're called Fashion Nail Exquisite Goddess Faner (such a loooong name!). I do have things from Shein but they have been mostly gifts, I think I've only bought a blouse I wanted for a Halloween costume. But, I'm pretty happy with the things I have, no complaints.

These nails are square shaped of course and, had this lovely and very natural looking ombre, which is something I really liked.

The package comes with 24 nails, a small nail file and 2 glue sticker sheets. I have to say the glue stickers are amazing! The application is way cleaner and easier than using liquid glue and the durability was great too! I only used one sheet so, I'm defo using the other one for future nails, hehe.
Speaking of durability, my nails looked great for over a week! I basically had to remove them because my natural nails were growing and they didn't look as nice anymore. But the colors never faded or anything.

I got many compliments on these nails because yeah, they look fab! I kept them long, I just loved how they looked and thought I'd ruin the ombre if I cut them.

What I love about glue-on nails is that you can have fab nails without spending a lot. I mean, I've seen some amazing looking ones that are more expensive but still, there's something for every budget.

See you next time~! ♡

Cute glue-on nails 🩡🩷

After getting acrylic nails, my nails were super ugly and damaged. I decided to remove them myself and I ended up with super thin nails, I had to cut them super short and some of my fingers hurt a little so. Lesson learned, I'll have them properly removed next time. πŸ˜…

I'm not new to glue-on nails, I used to buy them a lot in the past. I especially loved the ones from Elegant Touch. They have the cutest colors, look pretty natural and the glue has great quality. Not long ago, I saw these nails online and, since they had a good review, I wanted to try them.

They are from Prichos (which is like a dollar store you can find in most Walmart stores over here) and, even tho they were very cheap, they had like 3 different sets with pretty designs. They were all square shape tho.

I chose this one mainly because of the hearts design. Not saying the plain ones aren't pretty but, the hearts caught my attention. Plus, the colors felt bright and lively.

The kit comes with 24 nails, this gives you the chance to wear them twice if the sizes are right and, some glue. The glue is pretty good for a cheap one. It dries fast and glues the nails strongly without damaging your nails when you remove them.

They last for about a week, the application is clean and easy and since they aren't very thick, they feel comfortable.

I have very bad and awkward hand posing but still wanted to show you how the nails looked. They have a very decent lenght that allows you to do things.

I did apply them 10 minutes before my class so I didn't choose the sizes very carefully so, some of the nails ended up being slightly big on my actual nails. Oh well~

I ended up cutting and filing them a little bit. I kinda like them a little bit more this way.

Honestly, I was impressed with the quality of these nails and I kinda want to buy the other designs too have around whenever I want/need them. They are defo worth it, especially because they are very, very affordable.

Simple Pink Acrylic Nails πŸ’•

Time to show you what's currently on my nails.

I think I've mentioned this before but, it is almost impossible for me to keep my nails long and pretty. They are very weak and break easily. I've tried press on nails before and, even tho I like them, they are not the best option if you want to keep them for over a week.

Last weekend, my sister and I randomly decided to get our nails done. Last time I got acrylic nails was many years ago and my experience with them wasn't exactly the best.

These are the designs we chose. I guess they both reflect our personalities, hehe.

I decided to go for square nails, to me, they are classic and pretty. I think I played it safe tho, choosing my staple pale pink and glitter. There's something about that combo I find clean and cute. It goes well with everything!

Even tho they are slightly longer than I'd usually go for, they feel comfortable and allow me to do things naturally. There is something about long nails that makes you hands look instantly prettier, haha. Plus it's gonna be super convenient to have them looking like this without having to worry about them for a while.

I can see myself becoming addicted to them, you know, I love papmering myself~ ♡
