| MINISO | Minimalist Velvet Lipstick💄

I used to buy makeup from Miniso often, I don't really know when or why I stopped since they have good quality and great prices; but not long ago my mom gave me this lipstick from their Minimalist collection. It's the Minimalist Velvet Lipstick in the shade #13, which is this kind of burnt orange shade, if you've been around here for a while, you'll know I was a big orange lippie fan years ago. Even tho I'm a little more into nude or dark pink shades at the moment, I still like orange and peachy shades a lot.

It's described as a semi-warm color, It has creamy texture with a velvet finish. It's very smooth and glides on easily. It claims to have an intense color and long-lasting hydration The presentation is simple yet pretty. It also feels velvety without being velvety, if that makes any sense.

I actually really like this color, in a way, it's on the nude side too. I do have to apply lip balm before the lippie because if I don't do it, the lipstick will set on the lines of my dry lips and, that is not pretty.

Durabily wise, it is not that great, the color fades even if I don't eat or drink anything os you do have to re-touch it every now and then.

To me, it has this sublte but good cookie scent, hehe.

I don't know how many more shades this collection has but from what I've seen, they are all very wearable and (most of them) on the neutral side.

And, I think that'll be it for this short lippie post, I like sharing a little something makeup related each month around here again cuz, I still love makeup even if I don't try or buy new stuff that often anymore.

See you next time~!💋

MakeUp Revolution London | Pout Bomb Lip Plumper Gloss 💋

I'm a sucker for plumping lippies and I recentyl got this plumper gloss from Make Up Revolution. This is a brand my mom used to buy a lot in Spain and she kept telling me how good they were so, I was convinced.

It is the Pout Bomb Lip Plumper Gloss in the shade "Kiss", it is a neutral, almost nude kind of color. They are described as high-shine lip glosses and contain Vitamin E. And yes, it has a very glossy finish, the formula is a tiniy bit sticky and it has a sublte minty scent.

I have to say that it is not as pigmented as I thought it'd be, I guess it's expected since it's a gloss and not a liquid lipstick. It's still nice to apply on top of other lippies to add that glossy finish.

The applicator is slighty thicker than others I have and I love it! It covers my lips better.

The color here doesn't look as sheer as it is once applied on the lips.

Not my most flattering photos but, here we have the lips without & with the gloss.

As for the plumping part, I'm not really sure if it does make my lips look fuller, what I did notice is that it fills in the lines on the lips, making them look smoother, I like that. Plus, the tingling feeling it gives you is more like a minty one, it's not as bad and strong as other lippies I've tried that make your lips feel as if you just rubbed something spicy on them.

This gloss is pretty similar to the ones I showed you in an other post a while ago, I guess I always gravitate to these shades without even noticing it. I'm gonna include some pics with swatches so you can see the 3 of them together.

They look very, very similar when you see them like this.

Here you can see the difference between the shades. I actually thought this one would be a little more like the Revlon one.

All in all, this product wasn't what I was expecting but, I still like it. I've been wearing ot often, especially for work, when I like a more neutral and natural look. I think they have other 13 shades that are very pretty and on the "neutral" side.

See you next time~!💋

💋 My Current Favorite Lippies💄

It's been a while since my last makeup related post. Thing is, even tho I still love makeup, I rarely buy new products anymore. I'm trying to stick to what I have rn and restock whenever I run out of something. That's why I've been going back to the lippies I already had (which are too many).

I realized that the ones I'm reaching out for the most are very, very similar so, I kinda wanted to share them in here cuz they are very neutral, nude-ish, my lips but better kinda shades that can work all year long, no matter the season. At least in my opinion, hehe.

Since they are 2 liquid and 2 creamy lippies, I decided to divide them and start with the liquid lippies.

🗢 Revlon Colorbust "Sunbaked" (044)

This one is a liquid lippie I bought a while ago. To me, it is mix of pink and brown with a hint of purple.

Packaging is pretty simple but I like the quilted effect on the lid. I like the applicator, it helps you control the amount of product you apply, it makes it clean and easy.

It keeps the lips moisturized and improves the texture of the lips. The color is lighter than what it looks like once you apply it, it is kinda sheer too but it does give you a hint of a tint. I like it because it's very lightweight and it's not sticky. It doesn't have a special scent to it, which is good for those who aren't too happy with scents.

Something I noticed tho, is that this product (and the whole line) is discontinued, guess I won't be able to repurchase once I run out of it.

🗢 Revlon Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish "Birthday Suit" (925)

Yes, I still have a Wonder Woman edition but, you can find this shade in the normal version too. I love this one, loved it since the first time my friend bought it and it's been one of my favs ever since.

Even tho it is similar to the Colorbust lippie, this one is slighty pinkier and has less of a brownish tone to it. Plus it's not as sheer and it's more pigmented.

The formula applies smoothly and doesn’t settle into lip lines. It's a little creamy and shiny, which makes my lips look fuller. I usually get many compliments when I'm wearing it.

It contains vitamin E and shea butter, and you can get an even color with just 1 swipe. It does have a scent to it tho,  to me it smells like vanilla and I really like it.

Now let's move on to the creamy lipsticks.

🗢 CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick "Sultry" (200)

I got this one a while ago, I've used it a lot, it's one of those lippies I think are perfect for every occasion. As you can see, the shade is very similar to the sunbaked one, I used to wear them together when I wanted a glossy look. It is also slightly brownish.

This lipstick is super pigmented and creamy. It applies smoothly on the lips and it doesn't set into the lip lines. You can build up the color if you want.

Durability wise, it's great. I like it because I don't have to worry about retouching it for a while. It does have a slight sweet scent to it. I can't really describe it but, I really don't mind.

🗢 Sephora #Lipstories "Oui!" (3)

Lastly, we have this beautiful baby. I haven't talked about presentation much cuz the others are pretty simple but this one is cute! All these lippies have a  packaging made of cardboard (I think) and depending on the shade, they have different designs inspired by stories on social media. This one has some hangers with pastel/pink dresses. Very girly!

The color is a warm-toned pink with a creamy finish. Again, kinda similar to the "birthday suit" one. I didn't choose them on purpose, hehe. It is lightweight, creamy and hydrating. I love it but, this one does set on the lip lines so, I always try to apply some lipbalm before.

Lol

And well, those are my 4 most used and current fav lippies. I just found it funny how similar they were. I know some people go for darker shades during Fall-Winter but I think I look way paler when I go for those colors. Idk. I do like to try something different every now and then tho.

I guess that is that for this post, it was fun taking the lippies pics and swatches! It has been a while! Anyway, I'll see you in the next one~! 💋

Saniye Moist Lip Plump

Last month I receive this gloss as a part of the back to school pressies basket. I love lip products so I was really looking forward to trying it.

This gloss is by Saniye and it claims to make your lips look fuller for hours and give them a healthier look.

It's supposed to have Vitamin E along with advanced plumping ingredients. It's a transparent gloss with a non-sticly formula. It does keep your lips hydrated for a long time.

Almost as soon as you apply the product, you'll start feeling a kind of tingly sensation that might be a little uncomfortable for some. I don't really mind, it goes away after a while. I do have to say, it tastes really bad! It's like a bitter and slightly spicy taste. So, I wouldn't suggest kissing anyone while wearing it, haha.

Since it's transparent, you can apply it along with a lipstick and it still looks nice.

I decided to add 2 before and after pics cuz I was smiling on the first ones I took and I feel the difference doesn't show much.

I wasn't wearing wearing any lipstick but I did notice my lips turned pinkier. I like the color tho, it's like a "my lips but better" kind of thing.

I'd say that the difference is veeeery subtle but I see it. It does make my lips look more hydrated, without any dry lines and a tiny bit fuller, Specially on the upper lip.

I guess it's a fun product to try if you want something that is super subtle and temporary. I haven't really checked how long it lasts tho. 😅

And well, I think that's it for this post. It feels nice to share something makeup related for a change.

See you next time~! ♡

MINISO | 🌸 Sakura Hydrating Lip Mask 🌸 |

It's no secret I am a sucker for sakura goodies and I love it when people give me something sakura related. That was the case with this Sakura lip balm from Miniso that one of my best friends gave me earlier this month.

The Sakura Hydrating Lip Mask comes in a transparent pot with a pink lid. The lid has this higlighted sticker with sakura flowers. It is super cute! It contains 8g. of product.

The packaging was super pretty too. All pink with Fuji-san and sakura flowers on it~ I didn't take a good pic of it before opening it tho. So here we have a screenshot I took while editing a vlog. I really wanted to include it here.

It is made with sakura extract and claims to soften and keep your lips hydrated. It has a very sublte sakura scent that becomes just a little stronger when you apply it on your lips. I appreciate the fact that it is subtle tho, I'm not a big fan of strong scents on my lips.
It doesn't come with an applicator tho, so you have to apply it with your fingers. This is helpful because it helps to warm up the product a little before applying.

The texture feels a little thick at the beginning but it's not annoying or uncomfortable and, it's not sticky at all.
Even tho it doesn't give you a glossy finish, it does keep your lips soft for a long time. I also wanted to wear it with some lipstick on top and it works well (at least with the ones I've tried).

I've been wearing it over night and I always wake up to super soft lips. All in all, it is a good product with the perfect size to carry around with you, it's pretty to look at and, does the job.

💋 Jelly Flower Lipstick

Long time no lippie post!

With the pandemic still out there and having to wear a mask all the time I barely wear or buy lipsticks anymore.

But, not long ago, my mom gave me this pretty Flower Jelly Lipstick from a brand called Ninfei. The presentation is very pretty and girly.

It is one of those magic lipsticks that change color as you apply it. The difference from the others I have is that this one is transparent! And has a cute, green flower in it.

It is long lasting but not as long lasting as other magic lippies I've tried. It does come off as you eat and drink during the day. It leaves the lips feeling smooth but not super hydrated.

Surprisingly, it has a sublte peach scent, nothing floral.

It has a nice, soft, pink color that you can build up without feeling thick. It's one of those "my lips but better" kind of color and it doesn't smudge when you wear a mask.

Apparently there's also a pink version of them that I defo want to check!
