Easy Meals I've Had For Lunch Lately Pt. 3 🍽

I didn't really think I'd put a 3rd easy meals post together so fast! I'm really trying to be a little bit more creative in the kitchen, include more veggies and just pamper myself with things I crave. And I'll admit, sometimes I even have some fun with it.

As I have mentioned before, these meals aren't the healthiest, most balanced and even not super attractive for everyone but, I liked them and they make me happy. Haha.
With that being said, let me share some of the meals I'va had lately~

Chicken bake and grape tomatoes. I recently found the chicken bake at the supermarket (because of course I didn't make it) and it's delish! It's filled with chicken, ham and cheese.
This is only half of it cuz it's too big for me so, I divide it and eat it in two separate days. I like grape tomatoes cuz they are easy and pretty cute. They were a great complement.

Cheese gnocchi with sausages. So, this might not be the ideal combo but, it worked for me, it was fast and easy to make considering the gnocchi was instant gnocchi. Despite being instant, it's still pretty good. I made both things separately and added extra cheese to the gnocchi. The sausages were cooked in the air fryer for about 10 minutes (cuz I like them to be extra cooked, hehe) and added them to the gnocchi once everything was ready.

Good old tuna mayo salad with veggies and a boiled egg. It's my go-to when I forget to take food out of the freezer the day before. I like to add some tajin to my tuna salad, it gives it an extra something, hehe.

Chicken popcorn with japanese white rice and vine-ripened tomatoes. I usually make chicken popcorn in the air fryer so they are not all greasy. I made too many tho, and ended up eating them for a few more days. Tomatoes have some tajin on them.

Let's take a moment to appreciate how pretty these vine-ripened tomatoes are~

Using the leftover chicken popcorn I made some bean noodles and broccoli with a bit of soy sauce and mixed everything. I love bean noodles cuz they go well with many things.

And with that, we'll close this foodie post. Let me know if you'd try making one of these, hehe. I'm curious!!

See you next time~!💋

More Easy Meals I've Had For Lunch Lately

My last meals post motivated me to prep different things and make another post sharing them. Of course you might see some ingredients here again but, prepared in a diffent way or paired with something else.

I don't remember exactly when I made them but, I know it was not what I ate in a week. I've been saving these pics for some weeks now so, yeah.

Remember that, I'm no expert here and I just play with that sounds good to me so, don't expect fancy, super nutritious and balanced meals. And, with that being said, let's start!

Breaded tilapia fish with ketchup and some potato tots. I love breaded stuff, especially fish but, I try not to eat it too often cuz I know it isn't exactly the healthiest option. I usually like to fry my breaded stuff in butter and didn't really add anything else to it cuz of the ketchup.

How fun are these bear potato tots? I seasoned them with salt, tomato powder, tajin and some herbs.

Meanced meat with tomato sauce and veggies with heart shaped pasta. Yes, I like fun-looking food, hehe. Meanced meat is something I make often, it's easy, you can make it for a couple of days and it goes well with many things.

I'm not the best at making pasta and, even tho it wasn't the most delicious one, it was decent. Plus, it's cute. This was from a Valentine's Day special edition my mom gave me a while ago.

Smoked salmon with sriracha-mayo and sweet corn "sushi cups"
My mom sent me this idea on instagram and it turned out pretty good, next time I'll add some nori to the cups.

We ate the sushi cups with some chicken gyoza. I didn't make them, of course. They were delish! I could eat gyoza everyday.

Fish cubes and broccoli with kewpie. I'm obsessed with the broccoli-kewpie combo, one of my fav things to snack on.
To the fish, I only added a fish seasoning and, that was it.

Chicken breast and veggies. No, I didn't burn my chicken, I like it that way, hehe. There's nothing too special about this one but, it was pretty good, and healthy. Hehe.

This last dish sounded good in my head but it didn't turn out as good.
Sardines in tomato sauce with pasta. My mom used to make cold pasta with tuna and it was yummy so, I thought this would be something like that. Fresh and delish for the hot days. But, like I mentioned before, I'm not good at making pasta. Idk what it is but, must of the time, it ends up being all mushy and gross. This was the case. I hated it but, it was still part of my menu, haha.

And, that'll be it for this foddie post. I'm always open to suggestions of other things I could make and try so, feel free to recommend!

See you next time~!💋

7 Super Easy Meals I've Had For Lunch Lately

This girl isn't the best cook but honestly, I've been enjoying prepping meals a lot more this year. And you know, I like things to be fast and easy but every now and then I like to make an effort.

At first I was planning to make a "What I eat in a week" but it'll be more like "7 days of easy meals" kind of post haha. That's because sometimes I make too much of something and end up having the same thing for more than one day and some weekends I eat just out. I usually follow my cravings or put things that sound good to me together so, not everything is going to be well balanced here and, of course, don't expect these dishes to be super elaborated. One thing I can say is, they were good!

With that being said, let's start!

Basa fish cubes and white rice. The fish was already in cubes, I just cooked it, seasoned it a little and added some unagi sauce to it. I ate it with Japanese rice with some furikake sprinkled on it. It was a light and yummy lunch.
I still love my rice cooker so, so much. Makes my life easier, especially on weekdays when I tend to multitask.

Fish fingers, sweet corn with sriracha-mayo and white rice. I know the fish fingers are just a fancier way to say fish nuggets but, I just love them. Of course these were already pre-made, I just cooked them in my air fryer. Sweet corn with sriracha - mayo is one of my all time fav side dishes, it's just too good! The rice was what was leftover from the day before.

Chicken curry with white rice. I made this on a Friday, since I it's my day off, I wanted to try the House Foods Curry-ya curry sauce I got not too long ago. I used chicken breasts, cut them into small pieces and seasoned them a little cuz I didn't know how spicy the curry was going to be. The curry sauce was reaaally good and had some onion in it. I loved it. White rice was also made on my rice cooker. That same day I also made the S&B Golden Curry Sauce with Vegetables  with some chicken too. I didn't eat that one, just tried it but, it was delish! It's my fav out of the two.

Ramen with chicken gyoza and egg. I was debating wheter I'd share this one or not because, it doens't look pretty. Lol. My boiled egg was too soft when I cut it and, I made a big mess but, we're not here to pretend to be perfect, I'm messy, and this is what I really ate so, here we have it.
It was instant ramen, of course. And I didn't add anything extra. Broth was the one that came with the ramen, gyoza were yummy and even if my egg is ugly, it was yummy too. This was my Saturday lunch. I was lazy to make something else so, yeah. Plus, ramen is my comfort food.
P.S. I need to get a proper ramen bowl.

Meanced meat with veggies, chipotle tomato sauce and enchiladas potosinas. Everytime I make meanced meat I end up eating it for at least 2 more days. But, I make it often. I don't love chipotle, I didn't pay attention to the sauce I bought and well, that's why it has chipotle too. But it was ok. The enchiladas potosinas are the best! I love them and I just have to put them in the air fryer for a bit and, they are ready! Plus, they were mt dad's favorites.

Boneless chicken and ravioli. These were salt and pepper boneless, I made them in the airfryer and, they were SO good! The bag came with enough for about 2 more servings. The ravioli were leftovers, my mom made some and, they were pretty looking at the beginning, I ruined them when I heated them and added some cheese to them. They were really good nonetheless.

Smoked tuna with veggies and sriracha-mayo, a boiled egg and crackers. This is one of my favorite things to make on days when I don't have much time to make lunch. The smoked tuna is already ready to eat and, it's pretty good. One thing about me is that, I always have to eat my tuna with some type of crackers or a toast. The boiled egg is optional, depending on how hungry I am.

There you go, I usually repeat some of these dishes a least twice a month, I defo need to get a little more creative. Hehe. Maybe you can tell but, I like chicken and fish a lot more than meat, that's why I make those more often.
Let me know if you'd like to see more posts like this one in the future. In a way, that could motivate me to make more things. And, you can always feel free to send me some suggestions to try.

See you next time~!💋

Toyo Foods Haul

We have a bit of a different haul today, a food haul! Not really a groceries one, just some fun things I got from Toyo Foods, which is a store that sells Asian food, snacks, drinks, ingredients, etc. I love Asian food and I want to start making more dishes this year so, I'm sure I'll be going back to get more things.

I enjoy grocery hauls from other people so, I thought I'd make my own, haha. Haven't tried everything yet, that's why I'm not going to get into much detail on some of these things. I also bought some gummies but I gave it to my mom and my sister before taking a pic of them. My sister algo bought a few things and we shared, I'm including those here too.

I got a bag of DayLee Pride Chicken Gyoza. I just love gyoza! Plus they are super helpful whenever I don't have time to make something and, they are great in ramen. I haven't tried this brand yet, I usually buy the Bibigo ones but, I'm excited to try new brands.

Calpi Sui. Which is basically a calpis drink. I got the 500ml presentation, but they had a bigger one too. I like calpis but I bought it becuse I want to try some cocktails I've seen that include it.

I cannot live without my coffee and yes, I do drink instant coffee too. I got this Nescafé Excella to have some iced coffee at noon when I feel like I need an extra caffeine boost. It's actually pretty strong and, pretty good.

I've been meaning to buy some curry and, this was my chance. I bought two, haven't tried any of them before. I think I've only had curry twice in my life. I bought 2 different ones: House Foods Curry-ya and S&B Golden Curry Sauce with Vegetables. They are both instant curry sauce, that way I can just make the rice and the meat, chicken or whatever I'll have them with. One day I'll learn how to properly make it, hehe.

My sister got me this watermelon Cantabile Korean Pouch Drink. I've seen them around but it'll be my first time trying it. Apparently it is super sweet so I think I'll add some sparkling water or something whenever I try it. I noticed they also have coffee, I might get some next time. They just look like a lot of fun to drink!

I also got some instant ramen and yakisoba by Sunahoshi. Cuz instant noodles are a must in this house.

I love to eat these Kasugai roasted green peas, the normal ones tho, I hate the wasabi version.

VICPIE (Victory Pie) My sister bought a box of these cookies/pies and shared some with us to try. They are thin chocolate pies filled with strawberry jam. Not too sweet but, really good. The box came with many individual pies.

Kewpie Mayo, I just love Kewpie, hehe.

A box of Choco Pie that I shared with my mom and sister.

And well, these are not from Toyo Foods, I found them in a supermarket we went to later on that same day so, I included it here cuz it was my first time seeing them and buying them. I got some kumquat! I had no idea how to eat them and stuff but, they are so cute, sour and fun. I saw you can make some jam with them, dunno if I'll try that, I think some of them are not ready to be eaten yet.

And, that is it for this beautiful, food haul. Haha. Let me know if you'll like to see more hauls like this in the future with more Asian yummies or just fun things I randomly find when I go grocery shopping. I love food and I'm always looking for new stuff so, I'm always happy to share those around here.

See you next time~!💋

5 super fast and easy meals I often prep 🍲

With my current working schedules, I have more time for food prepping at home. It's no secret I am not the biggest fan of cooking but I still do it because, this girl gotta eat.

I still have to work on a better way to manage my time because sometimes I prep my lunch last minute and usually go for the fastest options. I have to say my airfryer has become big big help and I can't picture my life without it anymore, hehe. 🍲

My point here is, you won't find super elaborated or time consuming meals here. At least not in this post. Plus, most of the time, I just follow what I'm craving without thinking much about if something goes well with something else.

Anyway, here are 5 super easy meals I make often. I'd lie if I say I eat this in one week cuz most of the time I end up having leftovers and eat the same thing for at least 2 days but, yeah.

Tuna salad with siracha mayo. This is something that takes like 10 minutes to make. You know the deal, you mix some cans of tuna with veggies (I usually go for canned too) and I like to add a mix of siracha and mayonnaise to it. My mom sometimes serves it with boiled eggs but, I was lazy to boil them this time. I really like it that way too. And, I usually eat my tuna salad with some crackers or bread.

Taquitos dorados with rice and sweet corn. This taquitos dorados are by El Cazo. And, to me, it's one of the easiest things to eat when you have a busy day. The package comes with 20 pre-made tacos, you can find chicken or meat tacos. Chicken are my favorites. I usually just cook them for 10min in the air fryer and they are ready to eat. If I want to make a bigger effort I'd add some cream and Valentina sauce to them. Haha.
In this house we love rice so I eat it often and I thank my rice cooker for it, it's one of the best things I bought as a responsible adult, hehe. Something I like to add to my rice (when it's not Japanese rice) is some butter. I started doing it after I saw Sari (dad's partner) doing it. It really makes a difference, rice feels softer and fluffier(?).
And to add a "salad something" to this meal, I mixed some sweet corn (cuz I L.O.V.E. it) with some... siracha-mayo of course (fav mix ever). It is SO good.

I like chicken more than meat, so I often buy minced chicken instead of meat (not that I don't ever buy it tho). I think this is one of the things I make the most haha, minced chicken with tomato sauce and veggies. I don't always eat it like this but I really like to add some bean noodles to it. They don't really have a taste so they go well with pretty much anything. Plus they are ready in less than 5 minutes.

Teriyaki beef with veggies on a bed of japanese rice. I have to say I like teriyaki chicken a lot more but this mix works too. In thi case, I make plain japanese rice. Love it way too much as it is.

Fish nuggets have to be one of my favorite things to eat, I don't eat them as often anymore tho. Not long ago I found these tilapia nuggets that, at least to me, they are the fancier version of the regular ones, they do taste better. I make them in the air fryer so there's no extra oil involved. This time I had them with some unagi sauce and veggies. I'd usually add some french fries to this dish too but, I didn't this time.

And, that'll be ot for this foodie post. Some weekends I eat out, some others I eat leftovers. It's always changing but, let me know if you'd like to see what I eat on a weekend or a regualr day.

I'll see you next time~! 💋

Welch's Halloween Fruit Snacks 🦇

To continue with with some fun and delish seasonal snacks that are perfect for the month, here are the Welch’s Mixed Fruit Halloween Snacks, I've been enjoying them since the Summer to have a little bit of a Summerween kind of thing, haha.

We all know how yummy Welch's gummies are, but I find these extra special because of the halloween shapes and the presentation on the box.

The bestie and I decided to share the 85 pouches box but I think this particular presentation is perfect for parties, trick or treaters or Halloween goodie bags. These are from Costco but I've seen a smaller verion at Walmart and, I'm sure you can find them online too.

Each pouch comes with 6-7 gummies in the shape of a pumpkin, witch, bat, ghost and a haunted house. Love them, they are way too cute!

Close-up to the gummies. They are absolutely cute! I tried to picture the best ones I could find. Sometimes they just look like blobs. Hehe.

As we know, these gummies are made with real fruit. The Halloween snacks come in 5 different flavors: grape, peach, orange, strawberry and raspberry. The peach one has to be my fav!

And well, this is a pretty short (and random) post cuz there's not much to say about gummies! Plus, I think most of you already know them but, I thought it'd be a cute thing to add to the favorite season posts here on the blog.

Wish you all a very happy and fun spooky season!🦇
