πŸ’„ FLORMAR Pretty Cream & Glaze Lippie πŸ’‹ "Aubergine"

Hi there loves!
Lately I've been experimenting with darker lipstick shades. At least darker than what I usually go for. After I bought the burgundy color from Maybelline, I started looking for a purple-ish color and I found this one from Flormar. Funny thing is, I oredered it a while ago and then, it didn't arrive when my order was delivered so, I forgot about it. A month later...it came to me. It was a good but unexpected surprise.
It's the Pretty Cream & Glaze Lipstick in Aubergine (P320). At first, it looks like a deep purple shade, but once you actually apply it, it doesn't look as dark, unless you apply more than once.

To me it looks more like a dark berry color (yeah, I suck at explaining colors!) This lippie is super creamy and long lasting. It keeps my dry lips hydrated for a long, long time. And I think that is part of what I like about the lipsticks from Flormar, they have a really good quality and big variety of colors.

super dry hands! oopss!

I've been getting a lot of nice comments and compliments on this lipstick, it has been one of my favorites at the moment.

And I keep repetaing myself that I should stop buying stuff but...I already have more things to share with you guys in future posts! LOL

What I've been watching lately #6 (re-watching shows and Turkish drama!)

Hi there darlings!
I'm slowly going back into blogging a little more often and well, I am back with some of the shows and movies I have been currenlty watching. I'm still not done with some of them but since I've been obsessing with them, I thought I would mention!

Somnia (aka as "Before I Wake")is a drama/fantasy movie about a couple who decide to adopt a kid after losing their own. This kid has a very unique situation when he falls asleep, his dreams and nightmares manifest. I actually really liked this movie. It is not a regular horror movie and I gotta say the end is kinda...sad.

μš°λ¦¬κ°€ κ²°ν˜Όν•  수 μžˆμ„κΉŒ (Can we get married?) This is my second time watching this Korean drama. This time I saw it with my  mom. It is pretty much about about different couples of dfferent ages and the problems they have to face such as getting married, getting divorced, falling in love at their 50s and money differences. It has a little bit of everything, drama, comedy, romance. It makes you laugh and it makes you cry. Also Jung So Min and Sung Joon are there, playing my favorite couple so...what's not to love?
NOTE: The fashion in this drama is just G.r.e.a.t!

Gilmore Girls A Year in the Life. This is the "continuation" of the series. I used to watch this show with my mom cuz she used to love it and well, it got us engaged too! I was super excited about the GG coming back and even tho some people loved it, some others hated it. I enjoyed it! I loved to see all the original characters back.

Sila Ok, you all know how much I love Korean dramas but, I never thought I'd end up watching (and obsessing over) a Turkish drama. I first heard of this drama from my mom and Aunt, after watching only 3 episodes with my mom, I got totally engaged. When I strted watching it, it was close to the end so once it ended, I started to watch from the beginning. It is so different from what I'm used to watch! A completely different culture and...Boran! OMG, I am obsessed with that man now! SO HOT!

  couldn't find a better trailer...hehe

And that is it for now! Not too many cuz I've been focusing on these for now.

Heart-to-heart: Fall in love when you're ready, not when you're lonely

Hi loves!

First heart-to-heart of the year! I want to write many more of these this year! And this was something I kinda wanted to share last year but for whatever reason I didn't. I'm sure I am not the only person who can feel related to this topic so, I'll share with you something I experienced last year, not because I feel proud of it or want to go through it all over again, but because it could be useful for someone who is/was going through something similar.

There are times when I feel lonely, but, it got worse by the end of 2015. I never felt this way before so, it was a scary feeling. Having people around you but still feel lonely is something I never felt before.

I've liked guys before, but I've only been in love once. Truly in love. We had our own special relationship. Maybe it wasn't all that perfect to others but it was true love for us. I know it was, I felt it and no one can tell me it wasn't real.
Back then everything was perfect no matter what. I felt it gave me the strength I needed to go through everything. Making future plans together and texting until 3am...I had a future planned, daydreamed about it.

When I realized my fairy tale love story was fading away, my whole world fell apart. (add to that some other personal situations I was going through) Long story short, two of the most important people for me "left me" at the same time, my love and my long life best friend.
So not only I was beyond sad, confused and had no idea where this was coming from, but I also felt lonely.
I always say I am lucky to have great people around me, and that is true. People who never left my side but, even having all of them there, I still felt that loneliness.

A broken heart needs time to heal, no one can ever tell you to stop caring or to let go at a certain point cuz, only you know whe you're ready to do it. I know sometimes it's so easy to feel pressure from other people, "why aren't you seeing someone?", "I'd like you to meet someone", "you shouldn't feel this way about that person" etc. But you know what? it is ok to feel the way you feel. Not because someone is living a certain situation, you have to live it too. Yeah, it is hard not to compare, not to wonder how it'd be "if only" but when reality hits you hard you realize that the more you push things, the worse you'll feel and the less things will flow the way they should. I'm telling you this after a year of being heart broken. I used to cry from time to time, I still miss him. and I still wish things were different.

Not long ago, I found that quote that says: Dear heart, fall in love when you're ready, not when you're lonely. And it made so much sense to me!

After feeling like I had no way out of these feelings, I decided to kinda force myself to date someone, thinking that could help me to move on, stop missing my love and get rid of that lonely feeling but, I was /so/ wrong.
I knew this guy, and he had feelings for me, I thought that could be enough but truth is, it wasn't enough. I was constantly asking myself if I was sure about what I was doing, if I would ever feel comfortable with the things I didn't like about him...and that is not how it should be. He wasn't my "Zombie Babe" and he was never going to be him.

There was a point when I thought; you know what, this is not fair for you, and it is not fair for the other person, I had to stop and end it. It was not a way out of my problems, it was not going to make me forget about my love and I was going to end up hurting someone just because I was being selfish.
Yes, I realized how selfish I can be.

Now I know it is true time helps you to heal. My heart will always have this feeling he left but it's ok. It will always remind me he was (and still is) my first true love. I won't rush into things and I won't force me to do something if I don't feel 100% sure. Our heart is not a toy to play and experiment with. At least I know mine is not.
Everything will happen when it has to happen. Who knows? Maybe things will eventually change to the way they used to or...even better!

My point is, don't let other people, pressure, comparison, loneliness, etc. make you force you to do or feel things when you just don't feel ready or simply don't feel like it. Take your time (and I mean it, the time you need) to deal with things your way. If you need to cry, cry. If you need that person to know things, find a way to let them know, if you need a clousure, find a way to have it. Just let it happen naturally. Be fair and kind to yourself, and be fair to others. And always remember that it is ok to feel the way you're feeling because that feeling is there for a reason, it shows that person matters to you and was/is important even if he/she might not come back.

Hope all this makes sense cuz I jump from one thing to an other, especially on heart-to-hearts~ hehe.

As I'm typing this, I realize how passionate I still am about my feelings and how much I want to hold on to them.

Beauty Gift Package for my firend Airi (All things Dee)

Now that she recieved it, I can finally share it! I didn't wanted to ruin the surprise!

Hello everyone!
So, this is a bit of a different entry. I usually share the packages or gifts I recieve but I never make entries about the gifts I put together or stuff I give away so, I thought "today is the day!" lol.

Not long ago, I sent a package to my dear friend Airi. We've been friends for about 4 years now and she is like a little sister to me. She celebrated her bitrthday on December 31st and I wanted to send her a package of goodies as a birthday/christmas gift.

The original idea was to send her some Korean facemasks and makeup but, as time passed (and since she reaaally loves nail polishes) I started buying nail polishes instead of makeup without noticing, along with some Korean goodies and candies...because I can't give away something without including something to eat. LOL

So! Let's take a look at the stuff I sent:

♥ Korean facemasks:
I pretty much wanted to send a few from different brands so she can try them and see which ones she likes and what works for her.

Animal masks from G&S Cosmetic. One is the Animal Panda Snow Whitening Mask and the other is the Animal Tiger Aqua Soothing Mask. I find animal masks absolutely adorable so, I had to got some for her!

Master Lab Intensive Brightening facemask from TonyMoly with vitamin C. All I can say is, I love the facemasks from TonyMoly!

Snail Lip Ger Patch from Missha. I find them very handy especially when you have super dry lips like me. Plus, they are super fun and girly.

Aloe Sooting Yogurt Massage Mask from Lassie'el. I've been loving these for a while now.

♥ Nail Polishes:
As a nail polish lover myself, I knew adding some new babies to her collection would be a good idea. I picked mostly pastels tho~

First one is a nice lilac pastel from Missha Nail Polish. (VL001) It drives me crazy not to find a name for their polishes! #ImWeird

From the pastels I bought from Flormar, I picked the two colors she liked the most and got them for her as well. As you guys know, I've been really liking this brand and these two colors are also faves for me. The colors are Rose I Hold (FC04) a pretty nice, pale pink and Imaginary World (FC16)

Lastly, are these two colors from Kim Taylor. I think they looks super pretty together and are perfect Fall colors. One is Chiffon (KT.128) and the other one is Dark Coral (KT.129)

♥ Others:

Missha Oil Control Film. I find them very handy to carry aroung in your bag. You never know when you will need them!

Arcor Butter Toffees are some of my favorite chewy candies, I'm not sure if she had them before but I thought it'd be nice to add them to the package.

Also some samples from TonyMoly. Mostly creams.

I wanted to add so many more things but I think I'll save those for next time. I really enjoy giving goodies to the people I love and especially sharing with them some of the things I love.
Hopefully next time I /will/ include some makeup!

Hope you like it and enjoy it Airi! It is with lots of love! ♥

Maybelline ColorSensational Mattes and Creamy

Hi sweets!
Here are the newest additions to my lipstick family. A while ago I bought two lippies from the Maybelline ColorSensational collection. One for me and one for my mom. We loved them so much that we got more for Christmas!
I got 2 creamy and 2 matte. Both are great, long lasting and the colors are super pretty!

πŸ’„ Creamy Lipstick
The first one is "Vivid Rose" (875) it is a really bright coral shade with a hint of pink. Mom and I got super excited over this one and chose the same color. It's like a nice pop of color on my pale skin! Haha.

Next is "Blissful Berry" (410) and this one is a bit darker. Kind of a burgundy-pinkish color. It looks really pretty and it's super long lasting!

πŸ’„ Matte Lipstick
First comes "Blushing Pout" (682) it's a cold pale pink that gives a very natural look to your lips. I think it'd be great to match with heavy eye makeup or when you are looking for that "no makeup" look.

And lastly is "All Fired Up" (687) which I think it's pretty similar to "Vivid Rose" but in a matte version.

So, I gotta say that even tho I've been loving the mattes, I find the application a little trickier than applying creamy ones. I don't know, maybe it is just me. I'm very happy with all these lippies tho!

The other two I bought are here! Maybelline ColorSensational Burgundy Blush
