Hello guys!
I celebrated another birthday on June 3rd so yeah, I know I'm a tiny little late with this post. But, life's been busy at work (end of the school year is always madness), I pretty much celebrated this birthday all week and we also celebrated my dad's birthday on the 6th.
I have to say that this year I wasn't looking forward to celebrate my birthday. Maybe because I was on denial (and still am), maybe because I feel a little stuck with my life. And I felt like a year older would mean another wasted year. Kinda~ I didn't even plan anything to celebrate it.
But my friends, family and everyone at work (meaning coworkers and students) decided to celebrate me anyway! Making it a special birthday week and showing me that no matter how I feel, I am loved and spoiled.
I won't go into details on the celebrations cuz I'll link the vlogs down below in case you wanna check them out. I will say I really enjoyed and appreciate every celebration, message, hug, happy birthday song and present.
On this "new chapter" of my life, I want to focus more on the good things I have and my achievements. No matter how big of small they are. I also want to think a little more about me and continue fighting for the things I want. I know I have no control over some of them but I'll try my best to be patient. I won't compare to others and live my own live the best way that I can.
Moving on to the pressies! I recieved so many thoughtful and beautiful things. I was really spoiled this year.

Wow, this was a busy month for the blog. As some of you already know, I did this 30 Day Blogging Challenge that just ended yesterday. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I got to follow through the whole thing. Once again, I want to thank those who followed it and if you didn't, feel free to go ahead and check it out.
Now, let's get to my favorites of the month.
💕 BEAUTY
I was meaning to get a setting spray for a while now but I didn't want to spend too much on a product that I was just gonna start testing. So, I found the Essence Glow To Go Illuminating Setting Spray and after seeing a few reviews about it, I got it. I'm gonna be honest here, I didn't like it at first. Because the spray thingy is not much of a super soft mist and it leaves a few chunks of glitter on the skin. (If that makes any sense).
Then I just thought, Why don't you soften those with a beauty blender? And so, I did and now I love it!
The glitter it has is super tiny and soft, giving your skin a beautiful, healthy glow. And it also helps you makeup to stay put through the day.
Essence also has a matte setting spray but I'm more into glowy skin. Maybe I'll try it some other time.
So yeah, if you wanna try an affordable but good setting spray, defo try this one.
Then we have a highlighter. I've been really into highlighters lately and I've been loving this one my friends gave me a little over a month ago. It's a Flower Highlight from S.F.R Color in #01.
It is not only super pretty to look at but also very pigmented. It gives my skin a beautiful, natural glow. I've been using it as my everyday highlighter.
💕 TV
I've been watching so many shows lately: Anime, true crime docs, CAOS and Kdramas but, I won't go through all of them just yet.
I do wanna mention Netflix's Rilakkuma and Kaoru. It is such a relatable and beautifully made show. Like, I liked Rilakkuma before the show so I knew I had to watch it. Then my friend told me it was totally worth it and, she was right. You'll see everyday situations and struggles we all have as adults but presented in the most kawaii way ever.
Everything about it is cute: food, landscapes, characters; even clothes!
💕 Others
This month we celebrated teachers day (among other things) and even tho I loved every gift, hug and note I recieved, I have to share this mug. I just freaking love it! Not only because it was a very unexpected and personalized gift but also because what is written in there came straight from my 4th grade student's mind.
💕 Apps
Unnie Doll is an app where you can create costumized chibi versions of people or just cute characters. My friend Lu made a chibi version of me and I've been obsessing creating dools for people I know. Even my students.
Random note is, even tho you can create male characters, this app is mainly for females (unnie, duh!). So, I'm having a hard time trying to find hairstyles for guys... anyway! It is a fun app to play with.
💕 Eventful Month
Like I just mentioned, May was a very eventful month with many celebrations: Birthdays, Mother's Day, Teacher's Day and, I just yesterday, my little nephew Patricio was born. I couldn't be happier for my cousin and his gf. Can't wait to meet the little one!
We had a very celebrated teacher's day at work, first with our students and their parents and a nice dinner/party a few days later. I'm very thankful for every single thing people did to celebrate us.
And well, that is it for this busy month. Can time stop for a moment please? This year is flying by!!

My hopes for my blog
First of all, I hope some of the things I share on this blog help or inspire someone somehow. I try to make it about sharing likes, hobbies and experiences. I also hope to continue sharing with you guys for a long time cuz, it is something I really enjoy doing. Do I want it to grow? Yeah! why not? Who wouldn't want to see their baby grow? But I'm not in a rush. Lastly, I hope to look back in a few years and see how much I've changed. How much my life has changed. For the better of course. And, that's it! It was fun (and challenging!). Let me know if you enjoyed this type of Challenges and what else would you like to read on this blog.
What could I share in here that most people don't know already... I feel like I'm pretty open on this blog about my feelings, struggleas and all that not-so-fun stuff.
I could say I'm a crybaby, I have issues letting go, how I feel about big changes and stuff but, some people already know that~
So, even tho some people who know me already know this one... here is my confession.
A confession
I confess I don't like avocado. I know, everyone loves it but, I don't. I eat it if I have to but if I have the option, I'll avoid it. Same goes to papaya (but I don't eat it even if I have to) and spicy food. Not liking papaya is not that rare but most people is surprised when I say I don't eat spicy food. Was that a good confession? Maybe not but that's what Heart-to-hearts are for. I'll see you tomorrow with the last day of this challenge! xx
Or should I say, moments. Thing is, I can't think of just one embarrassing moment in my life because, I'm constantly embarrassing myself. Whether it is with the things I say/ask or do. I don't usually think before I speak, you can imagine the outcome of that~ But I guess it is more embarrassing when it happens with people who don't really know me cuz, people around me are used to the way I am so, it's not a surprise. Super short post today but, I'll see you tomorrow!!
When I first checked the list of posts for this challenge I thought I would organize and clean my closet before getting to this day so I could make it look decent but, guess what? It didn't happen. I've been busy and I totally forgot to do it. So even tho it is not super messy, it's not exactly at its best.
What's in my closet
My closet is divided in 3 sections so i thought it'd be easier to explain them separately. This is how it's going to be:
Section 1: At the top I have my handbags, shopping bags and makeup bags that I'm not currently using and a box with some Christmas decoration. (messy, I know.)
At the bottom is where I keep my dresses, skirts and overalls. I try to have a certain order and even tried to have them color coded but it doesn't always stay that way. On the right I have my skirts (and Haruno Sakura cosplay, hehe), followed by short dresses. On the left side I have some maxi dresses and stuff I don't reach out for that often.
In there I also have a small night table where I keep random stuff. And over and under it you'll find my high heels.
Section 2: At the top I have a suitcase where I have most of my costumes and very old cosplays. The bunny bag on top has lots of teacher materials. You can also see my Enchanted Princess Barbie doll and a box with (part of) my halloween decoration.
The bottom part is divided into more sections where I have (from top to bottom): Thick Winter weaters and pj's, jeans, pants, shorts, leggings and thinner sweaters. And, sweatshirts.
Ok, here comes the messiest part of my closet. Here is where I keep my most used shoes (flats, sleepers, flat sandals and tennis shoes). No matter how many times I try to organize it, it always ends up looking like this.
Section 3: At the top I have like 5 - 6 boxes full of Halloween decoration. The SNK shopping bag has... more bags from stores I like and stuff.

On this side you'll find jackets, coats, boots and ankle boots. Mostly my winter stuff.
shoes are also super messy on this side...
I also have some bags with some of my precious chilhood treasures and anime stuff I keep buying. And, that's it for my closet! Sorry about the mess and I hope you enjoyed this super quick tour. I'm thinking about making a "cleaning my closet" video so, let me know if you'd like to see that in the future.
I had to really think about it because I'm not musically talented, sports are not my thing and I'm not exactly an art person...
My hidden talent
I do have a talent tho. Not many people know about it because I can be a little shy but, I'm pretty good when it comes to making voices or imitate some. Guess it all started when I was a little girl and I used to play with my sister and cousins. I always tried to imitate character's voices and stuff. Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?
