๐ŸŒธ Sakura Stationery Haul ๐ŸŒธ

Hey there!

As some of you already know, I loooove stationery and I am Sakura obsessed so I thought it'd be a good idea to share with you some of my Sakura stationery.
It's not really easy for me to find sakura stuff, that's why I'm excited to share this. Not everything is new and everything is from different stores. I've bought some things and others were gifts from friends and family who know these are always must haves for me. Hehehe.

Let's start!

๐ŸŒธ Punchers:

I'm pretty sure they are one of the first things I got. I bought them separately from Maria Lucrecia Taller and I have 2 sizes. They are great for decorating or making cute confetti. You can always use fun paper to create different sakuras.

๐ŸŒธ Sticky notes:

These were gifts from my sister and she actually got them online. The first ones are just the flowers in different shades of pink and the others have cute animals with the flowers. Since I haven't seen sakura sticky notes in stores yet so, I try to use them wisely. They are both from ZAOMO and come with 20 sheets x 4 designs.

๐ŸŒธ Pink pen:

I found this at Expo MAGYC a while ago. I remember it was a little expensive for a pen as simple as this one but I still felt I wanted to get it.
It says "Sakura Saku" which means "cherry blossom flower" (I think~ I may be wrong) and, Idk I think it's really cute.
Surprisingly, the ink is not black or blue... it's gray!

๐ŸŒธ Stickers:

These are both from Mind Wave and they were gifts. The first ones are sakura and Mount Fuji stickers my sister gave me. The texture is really soft, almost velvet like. The flowers come in two colors: peachy pink and gold. Since they are older than the other ones, I've been using them more but still wanna use them wisely.

My friend Lu gave me the other ones. They are from Yoyoso and have cats and sakura (two of my favorites). The flowers come in 3 shades of pink and the texture is different from the Mount Fuji ones, these are a bit thicker but, idk how to descibe the material.

I love both so much, they are adorable!!

๐ŸŒธ Washi Tapes:

These 3 are from Mumuso. I think I got the 5 sakura washi tapes they had but I gave 2 away.

First we have the Sakura at Night Masking Tape which I think it's part of a collection cuz the others I had, had the same name. I kept the pink but there was a black and blue one too. This one is 15mm x 7m. And I think you can actually write on it.

Next we have the Gilding Washi Masking Tape Pink, which is 15mm x 5m and it has pink, white and silver sakura on it. This one is a bit more waxy(?) and super, super cute!

And the last one is a Masking Tape - plant, which looks more like sticky petals to me. I looooove this one and it was the most expensive of the 3 but, defo worth it. Even tho it comes in a tape form, it's filled with sticky petals over each other that you can use as you like. You can make flowers using them or use the petals separately. I think it comes with 100 petals.

๐ŸŒธ Notebook:

I am in love with this one. It's not like I needed another notebook but, I couldn't help myself! It is also from Mumuso.
It is pastel pink with gold flowers and and creamy striped sheets. The cover feels like a very soft fake leather and it is just too pretty to look at.
I just want to find a good use for it. Any ideas?
I wanted to find how many sheets it has but I couldn't find it anywhere! I'd say 100 but, I'm not sure. Can't say anything about the paper quality either cuz I haven't used it and to be honest, I'm no expert on that.

And well, that's it for my Sakura stationery haul. I'm still in search of more cute (and sakura) stationery so, you can expect more hauls like this in the future.
Also, let me know if you'd like to see more of my Sakura collection even if it's not stationery related.

I'll see you next time!!

๐Ÿ’• | July Favorites 2019 | Beauty, TV & Cat Filters!

Hello my loves!
Hope you're having a great Summer break. Mine's been surprisingly busy with birthdays, graduations, projects and even YouTube. I've been editing a lot on my free time these days. But it's been fun trying slightly different videos than my usual vlogs.

I think this month's post will be better than June's, I literally had just a couple of things to share~
So, let's start!

๐Ÿ’• Beauty

Since I discovered the power of Micellar Water, it became one of my favorite products to remove my makeup. I've tried a few and NIVEA ones are definitely one of my favorites because of how effective it is getting rid of waterproof mascaras and how gentle it is with my very sensitive skin. (I still double cleanse tho).
I've tried two of their micellar waters, the Nivea Face Caring Micellar Water, which I believe was the first one they came up with and the MicellAIR Expert with black tea extract.
I just finished using this last one and it was great! My skin felt fresh and clean after using it with no oily trace. Then again this product was soooo good to my sensitive skin, no irritation or break outs.
I believe they also have cleansing wipes and an other micellar water especially made for eyes. I'll have to check those out. For now, I definitely recommend this one.
An other good thing about it, it is not expensive.

That's for skincare, moving on to makeup. I've been obsessing over highlighters lately. My most recent and loved one is the Megaglo Highlighter Illuminatrice in "Crystal High" from Wet n Wild. This one is supposed to be limited edition. The presentation was the fist thing that caught my eye but the color is beautiful, very pigmented and it gives a very natural glow to the skin.

Next is the REVLON Photoready Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer. See? I'm obsessed with glow lately~

It is a water-base primer with oil beads and luminous rose quartz.
Product claims to: Smooth the skin for foundation, add a rosy pearlescence and to help the skin feel hydrated for 24 hours.

How to use: "Place a few drops into hands, rub together to melt oil beads. Apply to face for illuminated skin. Wear alone or under any cream, liquid or powder foundation"

I've been really enjoying using this product as a part of my everyday makeup routine. It does give a subltle and natural glow to the skin that makes it look healthier. The scent is not too strong and it absorbs quickly. At first I didn't notice much difference but I started getting compliments on my skin after using it. Really, really like it.

Lastly we have a hair related item, which is weird cuz I never include hair stuff in my favorites. It is the TonyMoly Volume Hair Wood Brush. Fist of all, I'm SO happy I finally have a TonyMoly store here where I live!! (that's an extra favorite).
So, I decided to get this brush because I noticed my hair became super frizzy(?) this Summer, I'm not sure why. But it was very annyoing. So, searching online I read that using a wood brush would help with that and... I bought it.
It may not be the prettiest but it does the job. Brushing my hair is easy and it did help with the frizz problem. It's also supposed to massage your scalp while you brush your hair.

๐Ÿ’• TV

Glorious Day is a Korean Drama I started watching a few years ago but never got to finish it. So, recently, mom and I decided to watch it and I finally finished it. It is SO good! It is about a divorced writer and her 3 daughters, their struggles in life growing up without a father and their love life. Each character has a background which makes it interesting because it's not really focused on just one character. It makes you laugh, it makes you wanna cry but in the end you love the characters. And of course, lots of good fashion there. You know, I just love Koreans' style.

๐Ÿ’• Yummies

If there's a drink I can call my true love (besides coffee), it has to be sake! This month I tried Cream Sake for the first time (I usually drink regular one) and I JUST LOVED IT!
It was a gift from my mom and my sister and I think it can become one of my favorites ever. The one I tried was the Nigori Cream Sake, and yup, I finished the bottle myself because I'm overly protective with my sake. Hehe.

๐Ÿ’• Accessories

Earrings are my favorite accessories at the moment. My mom gave me this pink flower earrings and I instantly fell in love with them. They are super pretty and girly. I can't match them with every single outfit but I would if I could. Hehe.
These are from Todo Moda and I believe they had them in a mint color too. But you know, forever pink.

๐Ÿ’• Others

Snow
filters for cats have to be the cutest filters ever! Michee and I have been having a lot of fun playing with them. Funny thing is, these are literally for cats. I tried using it on my dog and... nothing.

And that is it guys, feel free to share with me some of your favorites and, I'll see you next time!!

My Closet Declutter: Skirts, dresses and others

Hi dollies!

Every time I'm on a break I try to do some deep cleaning, and that includes my closet. It's a little therapeutic and it helps me to remember some of the things I have cuz yeah, I sometimes forget.
I also try to get rid of some things and give them away to people in need.

I decided to film (part) of the cleaning process, which ended up being 45minutes long!! And as much as I enjoyed vlogging it, I find it boring to listen to myself for 45minutes non-stop. So, I divided it in 3 videos.
I will link them down below for you to check out if you are curious to see what's in my closet or if you have 45 minutes to hear me rambling a lot. Haha.

Also, let me know if you'd like to see more of my closet decluttering in the future. I still have A LOT to go through. Hehe.

✏ Teacher chit chat #4: Bye bye to another school year~

Hello everyone!
Welcome back to another Teacher chit chat. I was planning to do some of these posts every couple of months but clearly, I haven't. My bad.

Sometimes I feel like I have a lot to say, share my struggles but then I don't want it to make it sound like a rant. Some other times I want to share my activities with my students but, I just have no time.

Anyway, this school year was such a challenging and stressful one. Lots of things changed throughout the year, and I have to admit, I felt like giving up at some point but, I didn't! Cuz I knew my students deserved better.

But even with all the ups and downs, I enjoyed my time with my students, and I'm so proud of how much they've grown in just one year. It's crazy!!
I also made so many fun memories with the kids and my coworkers, got to make some great friends too, learned so many lessons and got to challenge myself to try different things and overcome some personal "fears."

One of those, as some of you know, were the "open classes", they always stress me so much. But this time I tried something different, something that the parents, my kids and even I would enjoy. We played, worked together and I got some really good feedback from their parents. That helped me a lot to feel more confident and believe in myself a little more, which is always such a struggle.
Now I can also say that I don't let other's words or actions get to me as bad as I used to. I think I'm better at dealing with "problems" now.
Adult life sucks at times but I think I can handle it a little better now.

And well, now that the school year is over, is always hard to say goodbye to some of the students (cuz they just graduated from elementary school), who knows if we'll see each other again! But then I know once we start the new year, I'll see new and familiar faces again.

As for the graduates, 6th grade was a group I'll never forget. Not only because they were my first 6th grade but also because we got along so well, we had fun working and learning together and we had a million things to share in and out of class.
I still remember how scared I was to work with them because I never worked with kids their age before. Who would've thought they would end up being one of my favs ever.
I'm so proud of them and I hope they know it. They are capable of doing great, great things.

small graduation pressie for my students
All in all, I'm glad that I got to experience it all (good and bad) because it made me a better teacher, it opened my eyes to so many things and it made me a stronger person.

A new school year is always an adventure, can't wait to see what will happen on the next one!!

What I've been watching lately 2019 | #1 | Netflix, anime & Kdrama

Hello guys and hello Summer break!
I'm sure some of you are already enjoying it but, mine just pretty much started and I thought it'd be a good moment to share some of the shows I've been enjoying.
Mostly for people like me, who won't go anywhere on their Summer break.

Remember most of my show plots or descriptions come from Netflix, Wikipedia and other sites.

Let's start with Netflix:

๐Ÿ“บ Rilakkuma & Kaoru:

"Rilakkuma & Kaoru is a 2019 stop-motion animation series created by Dwarf Studio in cooperation with San-X that premiered on Netflix on April 19, 2019."

"Her life might be a little mundane, but Kaoru gets to go home to Rilakkuma, her endearingly lazy roommate who happens to be a fuzzy toy bear."

I think I mentioned this show on one of my favorites before. Like I said, it is such a relatable and beautifully made show. Even tho it is really cute, it has some mature content that I'm sure some of us can identify with.
Even if you don't like Rilakkuma, I highly recommend it, just the beautiful Japanese landscapes make it all worth it.

๐Ÿ“บ Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2:

"¿Sabrina exploring her darker side, curious to learn more about her heritage, while struggling to maintain her friendships in the mortal world. Romantically, Sabrina is caught in an unholy love triangle between sexy warlock Nicholas Scratch and salt-of-the-Earth mortal Harvey Kinkle. Meanwhile, The Dark Lord, Madame Satan and Father Blackwood continue to conjure chaos in the Spellman household and the town of Greendale. And they aren’t the only ones trying to raise hell. Everything is in question — relationships, identity, true intentions — when the devil's work is at hand."

It is no secret how much I loved the first season. And even tho I liked the first one a little more, this one is still really good. A little darker, which I enjoyed. I got to love some of the characters a lot more and dislike some that I didn't on the first season.
Yup, now I can't wait to watch season 3!

๐Ÿ“บ Conversations with a killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes:

"Present-day interviews, archival footage and audio recordings made on death row form a searing portrait of notorious serial killer Ted Bundy. ... Present-day interviews, archival footage and audio recordings made on death row form a searing portrait of notorious killer Ted Bundy."

Before watching the new Ted Bundy movie with Zac Efron, I knew I had to watch this docuseries. I was familiar with Ted Bundy and his murders but after watching it, I can say he was a fascinating man. Not exactly in a good way tho~
The docuseries is only 4 episodes long and even tho the first one felt a little slow, every episode gets better. I pretty much finished it in one weekend. Defo worth checking out.

๐Ÿ“บ Haunted

"Real people sit down with friends and family to share terrifying true stories from their past, re-created through chilling re-enactments. Watch trailers & learn more."

This is another docuseries with only 6 episodes. It's a good watch if you like paranormal stories but don't want to be scared. (The only one that really creeped me out was the Aliens one).
Some, if not most of them have a very unexpected ending.

Ok, let's move on to non-Netflix shows:

๐Ÿ“บ Boruto: Naruto Next Generations:

"Several years after the end of the Shinobi War, Naruto's son Boruto is about to enter the Chรปnin exams alongside Sarada Uchiha and the mysterious Mitsuki."

Ok, I know this show has some very good and very bad reviews. I pretty much just started it and I have a very long way to go before catching up with all the episodes but truth is, I've been really enjoying it.
I feel like I'm gonna recieve a lot of hate for this but, I love Sakura and Sasuke and the idea of them having a daughter is just perfect!
Yes, it's not Naruto, it's not gonna be the same but, it's pretty entertaining. Plus Sarada is such a cutie. And it makes me really happy to see the old characters there every now and then.

๐Ÿ“บ When Time Stopped:

"Joon-Woo (Kim Hyun-Joong) is able to stop time. He meets Sun-A (An Ji-Hyun) who owns a building. After that, he finds meaning in his life."

This man tho ♡
I can't have a show recommendation post without some KDrama and... you know, my love Kim Hyun Joong.
To be honest with you all, this is not my Hyun Joong's favorite drama. I don't even think there's good chemistry between him and An Ji-Hyun. Not saying it is a bad one tho. It is a bit of a fantasy drama with real life situations, comedy and a little romance~

Random note: This was Hyun Joong's first drama after being discharged from the military.

And, that's it for now guys! Let me know if you decide to watch one of these or if you've seen them before.
Also feel free to share with me some of the shows you've been watching so I can chack them out.

Happy Summer Break!! x

๐Ÿ’• | June Favorites 2019 | Sailor Moon + cups & drinks! (shortest post ever)

Hello everyone!

This blog was very active on May but this month I kinda took a break from it. Not exactly because I needed it but, I had to focus on work and other stuff. June was a busy month in general. After a week of birthday celebrations, I had a lot to prepare for my open classes, projects and evaluations. Since we are really close to the end of the school year now, it gets a little crazy.

And with that being said, I don't think I have those many products to share as favorites, I mean, I've been using some but it's too soon to call them favs. I've been really enjoying my birthday gifts (that you can check here) and some shows but, I think I'll make a separate show recommendations post.

I will have to mention the Sailor Moon backpack I recieved as a pressie. Mostly because I do use it every single day for work. It is not only cute but super comfortable to carry around with all my books and teacher supplies, hehe. Not to mention, my students love it.

Not long ago, I recieved this adorable "me cup" from one of my coworkers. She took the desing my friend Lu made for me with the Unnie Doll app and customized the cup for me. It was such a sweet and thoughtful surprise.

And lastly, Coca-cola with coffee. I recently tried it and it is the perfect mix between coffee and coke. Two of my favorites so, yeah. Gotta love. I'm not sure if it's a limited edition thing tho~ I hope not.

That is it guys, shortest favorites post ever.
I'll see you next time!
