September Blogging Challenge

Hello darlings!
I kinda wanted to try something different and challenge myself to blog only about the things you want in September, that's why earlier this month I asked you guys to send me your suggestions.

These are some of the suggestions I'll be blogging about

Back then I was so sure I was going to have enough time to prepare for blogs but suddenly things got super busy and my time of planning and prepping blogs ahead came to an end. So, I will do my best and try to stick to my 2 blogs a week schedule. There were like 2 videos planned but I don't really think I'll have time to edit~ We'll see.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who took the time to send suggestions, I thinks I already blogged about some of them so, I'll be focusing on the ones I haven't or that represent doing something different from what I'm used to like, yoga. Cuz that's the point of doing this, to push me to do things that I don't normally do. I try to be a open as I can on ths blog but, I always share what I want to or feel comfortable about so, yeah. It'll be fun. Haha.

Anime Obsession: Shingeki No Kyojin

If you didn't know, I love this anime. But for some reason (avoiding seeing how the characters I like get killed) it took me forever to watch the 3rd season. I just finished it two weeks ago and yeah, I'm obessed again.

I know most of you might have heard of it because it's been super popular since the forst season was released back in 2013. It is the animated version of the manga, with the sme name, by Hajime Isayama which, I haven't read.

The story follows Eren Yeager, and his fight to retake the world from Titans after losing his mother who was eaten by one. People live in fear of titans, in towns inside walls and the military are in charge of protecting them and killing these titans. So, even tho Eren, Mikasa and Armin are supposed to be the main characters, once they join the military, you get to meet many more characters and their background stories.

Titans are a complete miystery at first but you get to learn more and more about them and their origins as the show continues. Some of them are really creepy.

Somehow I ended up liking these 3

Being honest with you guys I find other characters a lot more interesting than those 3. Yes, I love Levi but as the show continues, and many characters die, I keep changing my favs every season. Levi remains the same tho. Hehe.

This show has 3 seasons so far, and the 4th and last season will be released later this year. That's why I wanted to get caught up before the new one starts.
There's also Attack on Titan: Junior High, which is the chibi version of the show, and it shows the characters living a normal school life. It's kinda cute; and a few OVAs.
There are also 2 live action movies with Haruma Miura as Eren but I've read so many bad comments about then that, I haven't seen them.

Junior High

I feel like this story is too complex for me to try to explain so I highly suggest you guys go check it out. It has a bit of almost everything but it is a bit dark and gets too violent and bloody at times. Once you start watching, you can't stop!

Big warning tho, don't get too attached to the characters, you never know who is going to die~

As for the soundtrack, I haven't heard many songs aside from the openings and endings, which are pretty good. My favorite one is the first opening from the third season "Red Swan" by Hyde. (love him!)

And back in 2017, Epica released an album called "Epica VS Attack On Titan Songs" featuring covers from the anime. It is so freaking good.

If you haven't heard of the show, I totally recommend it and, if you know it but haven't seen it, defo do it! It keeps getting better.

Freeman Pore Cleansing Strawberry + Mint Sheet Mask

Welcome to another mask monday!
Today we have another Freeman mask but this time, it is a sheet mask. Sheet masks are my favorites and I do believe using then frequently can help you improve your skin. I've noticed a big change after doing it.

This maks is described as: "Say hello to clear pores and get camera ready with this facial sheet mask with serum. Juicy Strawberry helps to cleanse pores, while a burst of Mint helps to control oil and reveal a fresh, clear complexion. Perfect for normal to combination skin."
It claims to instantly clarifies pores and refresh for a clear complexion. Including strawberry to cleanse pores and mint to control oil and refresh the skin.

The serum of this product was very milky like, almost creamy; leaving your skin with a nice, soft feel to it. It has a thick texture and a nice strawberry scent but, I was expecting to smell or feel the mint and... it never happened.

way to big!

I could see how my skin looked and felt clear and bright after using it and on the next day.

They have different sheet masks for different types of skin and I defo think they are worth trying.

Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshdow Quad

I don't know if you guys remember but years ago I used to buy Avon a lot, especially their lipsticks and nail polishes but I never got to try their eyeshadows.

Not long ago, I recieved this quad as a pressie from my friend Ceci and I have to say, I am impressed with their quality.

They are the Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshdow Quad in "Chocolate Sensation." Checking their site, they have many more quads with different complementary shades.
They have the perfect size to carry around with you and they come with 4 shades to create looks for both, day and night.

They come with numbers to give you an idea of how and where to apply them to create a certain look but I think you can experiment as you want and even mix them with other colors.

It comes with 3 shimmers: Shimmery beige (#1), Milk chocolate (#2) and Truffle (#3). And 1 matte: Black Brown (#3).
The plastic compact looks really clean and doesn't feel chap. It also comes with a mirror and applicator sponge.

The eyeshadows are very pigmented and easy to blend. It is so nice to apply them! Durability wise, they last throughout the day looking almost perfect at the end of it.

These colors are great for every skin tone and are easy to match with almos every lip shade. That's a plus.

just me, plying with the quad, hehe.

All in all, these eyeshadows were an unexpected good surprise, I could compare the quality with eyeshadows from Sephora or other more expensive brands out there. Defo worth it!

🌸 Sakura Haul 🌸

This quarantine I've been buying online a lot and I accumulated a few sakura items so, I thought it was time to do another haul. Cuz yeah, I still am sakura obsessed.

These things are from different stores such as AliExpress, Shein and Cosas Kawaii y más. I'm actually waiting for other things to arrive but, I'm not sure how long that will take.

Let's take a look at what I have so far...

🌸 Post-it

Cherry Blossom Dream
The first one is a cardbord box with 6 different sticky notes. I like it because the box is actually really thick and strong. Each block comes with 80 sheets in diferent sizes, deigns and colors.

Sakura & Usagi
These ones are absolutely adorable. Especially because they have my two favs: sakura and usagi.
They come with 30 sheets each and, the designs are very Japanese. Love them!

Time Machine Memo
It comes with 6 post-it notes and 3 different designs. They have more realistic pics so they look more delicate, in a way.

All post-it sets are from Cosas Kawaii y más. They always let me know when new sakura items arrive. I haven't used them much yet cuz I think they are too pretty to randomly use them. I'm waiting for a special moment to do it.

🌸 Earrings

They are from AliExpress and they were super cheap. Of course they are not gold but they look really cute and girly. They had a longer version that I kinda regret not getting. Oh well~ These are 4.5cm long.
They are not heavy and the material hasn't given me any weird reaction yet so, it's all good.

🌸 Workout leggings

I live in leggings sicnce the quarantine started and I really wanted to get new and pretty ones. I know this high wasted leggings are supposed to be for working out but I don't really wear them for that, hehe.
They are also from AliExpress. The only thing I'd change is the size, I bought a medium size and I think they are a little loose on me.

🌸 Fairy lights

These lights are from Shein and they are the cutest lights ever. I wanted fairy lights for a long time and I fell or these when I saw them.
They are pretty when you look at them in day light but, they look even better at night when you light them up.
They didn't come with batteries, and they use 2 AA batteries.

So, those are the things I have so far, I think I'll leave the rest for another post, whenever they arrive. I'm happy with the things I got rom AliExpress but, I just hate the waiting!

☾ Sailor Moon X ColourPop | Daylight Lip Bundle |

Remember when I showed you my SM eyeshadows? Well, after waiting for a couple of months because of the pandemic, I got my hands on another item from this collab. This time is the Daylight Lip Bundle that comes with two products: Ultra Blotted Lip and Ultra Glossy Lip.
They have two sets, one is "Daylight" (the one I got) and "Moonlight" which is slightly darker.

I swear this products are sold out as soon as they are back in stock. Big shoutout to SKINA for contacting me when I was desperately looking for this products, hehe.

But, enough of the random talk, let's get to the proucts. Like I did with the eyeshadows, I'll start with the packaging.

☾ Packaging

Since most of the SM things I own have Usagi in her Senshi uniform, I choose school uniform / normal life Usagi stuff whenever I can, that's one of the reasons why I chose this set.
As well as the eyeshadows, the box is all pink with holographic deets. On the front we have Usagi and Luna, holographic moons on both sides and Luna on the back with a little description of the products.
Too girly, too cute, I love it!

The lippies inside are very simple to be honest, not that they are not pretty but, I think they could've done a better job (like those Japanese collabs). I feel like you can do a lot with something Sailor Moon themed.
The lippies are very clean looking with a pink lid and gold moon details.

Each of them has the SM logo and the name of the product, in gold too.

☾ Lippies

Like I said, it comes with 2 different products:

Ultra Blotted Lip: It's called "Usagi" and it's a bright pink liquid lipstick with a soft, matte velvety finish. This one doesn't have any scent to it.

It is described as "a medium coverage matte lipstick that creates a soft, diffused look. it is completely transfer-proof and long-wearing but also lightweight and comfortable. no cracking or flaking! leaves lips smooth and fresh."

I agree with the medium coverage, you actually have to build up the color a little to get an even finish. It is transfer proof but, not really long lasting. Color wears off as son as you eat or drink something.
I could be biased here because of how much I like SM but honestly, even tho the color is pretty and the finish is really nice, I'm not impressed with this one.

As you can see, the color set on the lip lines.

Ultra Glossy Lip: It's called "Moon Tiara" (hence the color) and it's a light orangle gloss with tiny gold and pink glitters. Even tho it's gloss, it is not sticky at all and has a nice vanilla scent.

Description: "swipe on our hi-shine, smoothing (never sticky) gloss and prepare to be obsessed. enriched with jojoba oil to moisturize, nourish, and provide a cushiony feel for juicy, fuller-looking lips. our brush applicator applies a perfect plush layer that looks and feels amazing. five flawless finishes from 3-d pearl to sheer tinted colour. apply over naked lips or your favorite lipstick."

This gloss is not tinted at all, in my opinion. But it works well on top of other colors, giving your lips a glossy, sparkly look. I have lots of peachy shdes so I think I can se it with them.
The aplicator is a small brush that makes the application clean and easy. I like it.

I tried applying the gloss on top of the lipstick, and even tho the color looked nice, the gloss kinda swipes off(?) the color as you apply it.

I don't regret buying this set because it's part of my Sailor Moon collection and to me, that's good enough but, I know there are better quality lippies out there for the same price I got these. So, if you're not a SM fan, I don't think these would be worth it. If you wanna but something from this collection, I suggest getting the eyeshadows or a blush. I've heard many good comments on the blushes and, they have pretty colors too.
