Kimetsu No Yaiba Potato Maru Snacks

Something I love about Japanese snacks and candy is how many anime collabs they have. You don't see them everyday in my country so I try to buy some whenever I get the chance.

This time I bought the Kimetsu No Yaiba Potato Maru Snacks which are dried noodles and diced potato snacks that come in small bites.

At first I thought they were small rice cookies. They are slightly salted and you can kinda taste the potato in them.

Looking online and from what I saw when I bought them, they have many different designs and they all come with a card. Mine says it's "Version B". I believe "Version A" comes with loose dry noodles instead.

I got Shinobu, which made me happy since she's one of my favorite characters. My friends also got some. We all got different cards.

Diana got lucky! She got to exchange cards to ger her 2 favorites.

I guess there's nothing way too special about these snacks but they are good. I'd defo buy them again. It was fun opening them with my friends and they were pretty cheap too!

Meet Sassy. She's been staying with us for almost a month now and, she'll be Masha's roomie for a couple more months.

Sassy's mom made a trip to Europe and I thought it would be a good idea to bring her home so Masha could have someone to play with. 

Sassy is 2 years old, she's very sweet, playful but also a little shy. She's super cute! In a month, she got used to being around me. She lets me pet her and even hold her.

In my mind, Masha felt lonely because she was used to be with Michee before we moved. She was used to be around other cats since she was a baby so I thought they would get along right away. Boy, was I wrong~ Guess she got used to be an only child way to fast. And Sassy was an only child too so, it's been a slow process for both of them.

We didn't have much time to sowly introduce them. They met once but didn't directly see each other (it was more like just sniffing each other) and the second time we shared some dirty litter so they could well... smell it too.

But even tho Sassy is a very quiet girl, she was super nervous and scared when she first arrived. She spent her first day hiding behing my washing machine and I felt so bad for her. The next day, I moved her to a room where she could have all her things and feel comfortable without having to be exposed to us when she didn't want to. Of course, I was always checking on her and Masha seemed to be very curious as soon as she noticed her.

I spend a lot of time out of the house because of work, so I always kept them separated when I was away and slowly started opening Sassy's room so they could see each other when I was around. When I started doing that, Masha spent a lot of time in Sassy's room but they never really played or interacted in any way, they just stared and hissed at each other every now and then. They also have small fights with growlings. 😓 That's why I try to give them alone time too, so they both can move around the apartment, eat and play without worrying about the other. It'd be nice if they could do everything together tho.

I wouldn't say they hate each other but, they are nor exactly friends... yet!

I can tell Sassy has made an effort to adapt to her new temporary home and I really want her to feel safe and comfortable.

I've read and heard it is a process that could take weeks or even months, maybe I'm not patient enough, hehe. I'm trying all the tips I see online and I'm open to listen (or read) if you have any, to make this process a better one. 

I think I'll be writing a monthly update to share their progress and see how their relationship improves with time. 

☾ Sailor Moon X Kanro Candy Pt. 2

Earlier this year I showed you the 2  Sailor Moon X Kanro Candy bags I got and mentioned how I wanted to collect them all. 

Last month, when my friends and I went to Kawaii Pop, my friend gave me the 3rd bag I needed to have all the 55g designs.

The idea is the same as the previous ones, it has a beautiful stained glass design featuring the inner Senshi: Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Inside you get different, random designs on each candy.

The different senshi I got this time were Jupiter (2) abd Moon!! I got Uranus, Venus and Saturn again.

Super Happy I got Sailor Moon this time!!

The flavor is also peach and rose. Actually, I quite liked them! It's a very unique flavor.

I know this is a very short post but, I really wanted to share these yummies with you as a part of my SM collection.

Now I need to find the 25g cabdy bags to have them all! 

Lipton Sakura Tea 🌸

Spring is pretty much here  and that means it's Sakura season in Japan. As a sakura and Japan lover, it was exciting to find this tea. 

I believe it was last year when I saw people sharing this Lipton Sakura tea on Youtube during Spring in Japan and I was very curious to try it but I couldn't find it anywhere. A couple of weeks ago, when I went to a mini expo thingy wiyh my friends, I found it in a stall that had many cool imported things from Japan and, I had to get it.

I have to mention the presentation cuz it's really cute! The tea comes in a resealable pink bag with sakura flowers.

The package comes with 12 pyramyd shaped bags and smells very floral once you open it.

I don't know why I thought the tea would have a bright red color but it is more like a brownish red. Also the smell changes completely once you prepare it.

In my mind the taste would be as floral as it smells but, I was very surprised when I tried it, it does taste like cherries. To me, it tastes like a tutsi pop, haha. Maybe it's not the best way to describe it but it is a very unique flavor.

Usually, I like my drinks to be sweet but, I've tried it with and without sugar. Just to taste both options. And I have to say both are pretty good.

  And since the weather is becoming a little warmer, I had it cold too! 

Even tho this tea isn't easy to find over here, I think the price was pretty decent compared to other tea I've seen.

I'll defo buy more if I see it again, it is really is worth trying. 

Japanese speaking workshop: Describing someone.

It's been a while since I last wrote something related to my Japanese classes. Last weekend I started a Japanese speaking workshop to actually have people to practice with and even tho it's only been a class so far, I really enjoyed it. 

For this workshop we had to prepare a short presentation about someone, it could be a person you know, a famous someone or a character. We had to describe them with the vocabulary and grammar we know so far.

I chose my husbando, Sasuke cuz I had enough information to talk about his family, his past and all that stuff.

The idea was to present the information to the class and ask questions after that, I was suuuuuper nervous at the beginning but I ended up enjoying it a lot.

And since I'm super proud of my presentation, I wanted to share it here, hehe. It may look a little basic but I really put time and effort in it. (I slept super late a day before because I did it at the last minute tho...)

On the first slide I included some basic information along with his family members.

The second talked about his days as a ninja student and a super short description of him.

And on the third one, I mentioned what he likes and dislikes to eat and his "present".

Presentations were supposed to be about 2-3 minutes long, hence the little information. Plus, I'm not that good so I couldn't get into much details yet.

Excuse me if there are some mistakes there, I'm still learning and, this is the first time I do something like this. Hehe.

I know this is a bit of a random post but, I really wanted to share it. Hehehe.

Labello Barbie Lip balm

2 years ago, Labello released an official Barbie Special Edition Collection of 3 lip balms featuring Barbies from different decades and flavors (strawberry, cherry and blackberry). They were really cute but for whatever reason, I didn't get any of them, which was sad because I used to love Barbie when I was a little girl.

Back in December I saw 3 new ones. I got one for one of my friends as a part of her Christmas pressie, I got her the blackberry one because it's purple and that's her fav color; and last weekend, the bestie gave me the cherry one, which was the one I wanted because it has a redhead Barbie. Hehe.

This new collection has the same colors as the previous one, the only thing that changes is the Barbie.

 

Labello is a brand that has been around since forever and I feel like their products never disappoint, they also have very affordable prices. 

These lip balms have a 24hrs hydration and smell delish!

The Strawberry one is red, it has a slight shimmer to it and it leaves a slight red tint on the lips when you apply it.

I don't know if I'll collect all of them or if they will come out with more designs but i feel like it's something cool to have if you liked or still like Barbie.

🍷 Blanc de Zindafel - L.A. Cetto

"If a glass of wine is good for you, imagine what a bottle can do"

 I was never a wine person, my go to drinks were always Sake (which I know, it's also wine) and beer. But lately, I've been really into it too, specially into Rose Wine.

I'm not expert here and I've only tried a couple but I thought it'd be nice to share some of them every now and then as I try new ones.

I feel like I say this constantly but, remember I'm just a happy drinker so, most information about the wine will be from researching online plus, my personal opinion based on what I like.

Today we have the Blanc de Zindafel - L.A. Cetto which is a beautiful rose wine, it's color is more like a coral pink. From what I read, it's origin is from Croatia but it was made in Mexico. It goes well with Oriental food, slightly spiced food and even dessert. I honestly had it even with snacks... hehe. (I'm not a fancy lady when it comes to drinking wine...)

It has a "fruity aroma" that includes peach, apple and strawberry notes. The taste is also slightly sweet, which I really liked. 

It has 11.5% alcohol and, to me, it was really nice and friendly to drink. I usually have my wine cold, even if you're not supposed to have all of them like that. I know that's how you're supposed to drink Rose Wine tho.

Anyway, this is what I've been drinkin lately~ Let me know if you'd like to read more post like this one (hopefully I'll become better at this, haha).
