Last week we celebrated Teacher's day. The rest of the week got a little busy and I finally had the time to sit and check all my gifts, one by one. I usually get lots of cute notes and drawings from my kids when it's not Teacher's day, they always find a way to show you their love. But yeah, on Teacher's day we get some bigger gifts and I see it as a way from their parents to thank us for our work. It is so sweet to see how the kids are dying to give you what their parents got for you as soon as they see you, they look so happy to give you something. I got so many cute and yummy things this year! I'm so thankful! I am a lucky Teacher~!
Let's start with the yummies!
If someone gives me chocolates, they can't go wrong! I loooove them, and I'm always happy to eat them.
Part of what I got: Baileys Chocolate, truffles, Hershey's goodies, cherries covered in chocolate and cookies.
I also got a fairy figure which mom says means "good luck" especially when someone gives it to you as a gift. Sheep figure means fortune! They are both around my room now. Red Chinese lipstick keeper(?) I used to love them when I was younger, it was kinda cute to have one again after so long. As for accessories, I got a cute bracelet with grey pearls and a headband with a big, bright sunflower. It was picked by my student for me, I'll definitely use it to keep my hair off my face when applying face masks.
The heart shaped photo frame came along with the happy face pen, chocolates, the pink bear and a Hello Kitty sticker that is already on my laptop.
As for make-up, I got this lovely Mary Kay Lip Lacquer in Chai Latte. I rushed in and tried it the next day. It's one of those colors I like at the moment, very natural and peachy with good durability.

This is my first year getting some clothes for teacher's day! One of my kid's moms, gave me this pretty light blue short dress, it is a little different from what I usually wear but is really comfortable, I loved the color and perfect for this hot weather.
Some of the older kids that already know how to write gave me some sweet notes and drawings. I love my kiddos!
And, last Saturday we had a get together with my co-workers to celebrate Teacher's Day. I'm so happy and thankful to work with such amazing people!
