So my cousin Marissa was kind enough to send me a Yoga for beginners playlist she liked, for me to start practising before blogging about it.
A month ago, I was working out for 40 minutes, 3 times a week and my plan was to replace that exercise for yoga during a month. Which I did!... for a week~ I even started vlogging it cuz I wanted to document the process and prove that I actually tried. But, suddenly life got super, duper busy, I went back to work and I just stopped.
I feel like I failed on this challenge but I had (and still have) no time or energy to continue.
I know a week is not enough to have a real opinion about yoga but, it is what I have, hehe.
It was nice, I won't say I didn't like it. I just don't feel it is for me. I have some friends who like, and do yoga and they share this super beautiful aesthetic pictures showing yoga poses. My experience was just expectation VS reality and I feel the kind of workout I enjoy the most has to be more energetic and make me feel exhausted at the end. Everything that is very quiet and peaceful makes me laugh a little and I can't focus!! I did discover I am much more flexible than I thought I was tho.
I guess my opinion could be different, if I had more time to try it. It looks like a beautiful way to work out and I feel bad I don't have enough to share on this post. But I still wanted to write about it cuz I started the challenge... kinda.
Maybe in a not-so-far future I'll be able to try again. You never know~~~~
I'll link the videos I used, if you're interested: Yoga With Adriene
