Upgrading My Coffee Station! ☕

A couple of years ago I shared what I did with my coffee station, I actually put a lot of love and effort into it and I was pretty proud of what I did with it. But even tho I was happy with it, I knew I wanted to change it at some point. I don't know about you guys but, whenever someone DIYs something I love it but, whenever I do it, I feel it looks too... well, DIYed and not in the best way.

Not long ago, I found this kitchen cabinet thing for a very good price on Temu (yes, I've been obsessed with Temu lately) and decided to get it and finally upgrade the space.

Before I continue, I want to show you how it looked before. I've changed some things and added more decor since the last time I shared it in here.

This was how it looked right before I changed it. I was still planning to add more decor above the shelf. At the bottom I had a basket with random things, my french press and some mugs to make some tea. And I also had Masha's favorite hideout.

Since the desk is still strong and in a very good condition despite how old it is (it's been with me since I was a teenager so, yeah~), I gave it to my mom, she needed a working desk so, I'm glad we can still keep it in the family and give it a good use.

Now, let me show you how it looks now. I liked the new cabinet thing because it had the same length as the desk and was only slighty taller so it'd perfectly fit the space I already had. One thing I didn't like  and you'll see it in the pictures is that some of the parts of the cabinet were damaged and of course it bothers me but, I wasn't expecting it to be super high quality. Most of the damaged pieces are hidden, the only obvious one is on the right door, I'll have to find a way to fix it or cover it somehow.

Plus, as I was puttin it together, I had to make my own fixes because the doors kept coming out of place when I opened them and two of the wouldn't stay closed. I'm proud of myself for finding a way to make it work.

I kept the top shelf, it still matches pretty well. As you can see, I still have the same things, just organized differently and I added 2 more signs to fill the empty spaces it had before.

The top shelf remained pretty much the same as it was before, I really like the Coffee Station sign. Even tho it's just a flat, metal sign, it looks 3D if you if you see it from the front. I wish it was 3D for real...

Closer look to the things I have on the top shelf:
On the left we have a black, metal sign my mom gave me not too long ago, a frame with a napking I kept from a café in spain that says "Batería baja, necesito cafeína", a sakura cup that was a pressie and my Witches Brew reusable cup.
In the center there's my bamboo, a framed pic I got years ago at an anime con with some cakes and drinks on it and two pottery pieces made by the bestie.
And, on the right is my new Witches Brew Coffee House sign, a tea pot and other ceramic cups.
I do change the things I have up here depending on the season, especially for Halloween and Christmas.

And now, the actual cabinet. I like it because the doors help me to keep some things hidden and it doesn't look messy. I kept the old signs I had, my coffee maker, the espresso machine, my most used cups and mugs and some tea and coffee.

Closer look to the lower part.
On the right pic you can take a look inside the doors where I put my cups and mugs, it doesn't really show but it's deep enough to store 3 rows of cups, I still have a lot of space to sotre more! Hehe.
On the left is what I have inside the biggest door, here I have more reusable cups, thermos and some tea stuff.

As I was moving everything to this cabinet, I decluttered a little and got rid of some stuff. Now I have more space in the kitchen to store other things and have everything coffee related here.

Before and after pics ♡

There are still things I want to get, change and add but all in all, I'm very happy with how it looks, everything looks more put together and organized. It took me a while to upgrade it but, I think it was defo worth it.

I'll include the video version of this whole thing in case you want to check the process a little bit more or you just wanna skip the reading part, haha.

That'll be it for now, there are other things in the house I want to work on so, hopefully I'll be able to share those changes around here soon.

See you next time~!
