ACADEMY OF COLOUR ~ The Festival Forest ~ Lip Gloss Collection

Hello dollies!

Almost 2 months ago, I recieved this super cute box with a lipsgloss collection as a part of my Teachers Day gifts. The brand is Academy of Colour and as far as I know is from a company called Amelia Knight Cosmetics. I first knew about this brand because of the Nail polish set I bought eralier this year.
To be honest, I think the brand has some very cute looking packaging but I wouldn't say their products have the best quality. (not saying they are bad tho) I just wish they were a lot more long lasting, pigmented, etc.

Anyway, let's get into the lipgloss set!

First of all, the packaging is beautiful! It has all these pastel colors combined with a hint of rose gold. Once you open it you can see the 5 different glosses throught a transparent lid with some flowers at the bottom. So girly!
The colors come from a dark-ish red to a very soft, glossy pink with little chunks of glitter. And just like the nail polishes I got before...they have no names...!!

The thing with them is they are not that pigmented (and maybe they are not supposed to because yeah, lipglosses) but, I was expecting them to add a nice soft color to my lips. Honestly I think the colors show a little more when I swatch them on my arm than on my lips.

I've used them alone and on top of lipsticks with a similar color

I've been liking them on top of the lipstick a lot more. They add this nice glossy look to my lips without feeling sticky or thick. They also make the lips feel more hydrated and the durability is good. Not super long lasting or anything but, good.

Oh! And they have a nice and soft sweet scent.

In general I like having it! It's always fun to try new things and of course, pretty to look at and have on display. And, they are good if you want to have a soft look with a slight hint of color or just natural glossy lips.

Yes, I bought more nail polish but, can someone blame me? Just looking at the presentation makes you fall for it!

Not long ago (I think it was around December, when they sell all these cute gift packages to give away as Christmas gifts) I saw this nail polish bottle at Walmart and I actually thought it was pretty cool. I wanted to buy it but, I was spending so much money on Christmas gifts and reunions at that time, that I thought it'd be better to just wait. So I waited, and waited, and waited until last week when I noticed they still had some of them and they were for sale. For a super, duper cheap price. This time I knew I had to get it. It was now or never~!

Enough of my story, let's talk about the actual product.

It's the Colour Couture Party Paint. (I really know nothing about this brand, just fell for the whole concept). That comes with 10 different nail polishes.

First of all, let's take a moment to talk about the packaging. At first look, it looks like a nice, silver champagne bottle. Very fancy! And even tho it's a plastic bottle, the quality of it is pretty good. I'm definitely thinking about leaving it as it is to have it on display somewhere. Too pretty not to show.

Inside the bottle you find 10 bottles of nail polishes of 6ml each. Which I think it's pretty good for miniatures (IF they are miniatures).

4 pearl colors, 4 glitter polishes, 1 matte and a clear one. 

Some of them a very neutral colors, not very party like but it's fine with me, considering I'm not a party animal. LOL. The glitter ones are gorgeous!

As I was checking each of them, I realized that they colors don't have any name (and I really hate it when they don't have a name!) I thought they'd have fun party names but...they just don't. #OhWell

Still haven't used any of them cuz I'm currently wearing the polishes I got from my cousin's baby shower but I'll make separate posts about them once I use them.

I also have to confess I bought another one to give the polishes to my friends. Can't ignore such a good offer! But, I ruined that bottle~ #Boo
