☾ Sailor Moon Day | Mini haul and Hanami pressies 🌸 |

Hello loves!

On April 20th my friends and I went to an event called Sailor Moon Day. We were planning to go months before the actual event, we were excited.

First of all, it was a free event so, it was crowded. And OMG I mean it when I say crowded. We could barely walk and since it was in a closed space, it was super hot.
That didn't stop us from having fun and buying a few things. There wasn't only Sailor Moon merch there, we saw other anime related things and handmade crafts.

There were also a few cosplays, most of them Sailor Scouts. They weren't the best but, we did take a few pics just for fun.

They also said something about there being a Sailor Moon café that we never found. Maybe because it was crazy in there and we were just too hungry to wait.

Everyone knows how much I love SM so this was a must go thing for me. Was it what were expecting? not really but, we still had a great time. I really liked to see people wearing SM t-shirts, little girls dressed like Sailor Scouts and people talking about the show and their favorite characters.

Now, let's move on to the haul. I think I was the only one who was looking just for SM stuff, my friends did get some things but more like: Gudetama, Groot and stationery.
Surprisingly, I didn't buy much. Only because most of the official merch was very expensive and I know I can get it in other conventions for a cheaper price.

My shopping includes a Luna headband, Best Song Collection soundtrack, envelopes (I got more but I gave some to my sister), a sticker for my car, more stickers (that my friends got me), pink dinosaur pen (also a gift), strawberry mochi that I already gave away as a gift and a cinammon roll lip balm.

Lastly, my friends went to a Hanami festival last week. It was inspired by Sakura and sake, two of my favorite things and she got me some goodies because I couldn't join them
First thing is this absolutely adorable Sakura Choco. Not only the packaging is super cute but, the white chocolate sakura are pretty enough to make me feel bad for having to eat them.

The next one is a Luna & Sakura keychain. They knew i was looking for a new keychain for my car keys and I wanted something cute and Sailor moon related. I love it!!

They also gave me a Flower Highlight, which has some beautiful pastels and cute flower patterns. Pigmentation is great and it gives a beautiful glow to the skin.

I want to thank my friends for coming to this event with me (and for the pressies!), we always have the best time together! #SailorSisters.

👯 | 30 Day Blogging Challenge | Day 4: My Dream job

Hiiii!
Let's continue with the challenge!

MY DREAM JOB

Ok, this is a hard one, cuz as much as I love to teach, there are so many things I'd love to do for work.
Sometimes I feel like I'm still in that stage where you like what you do but you would also like to try something different. Then I realize I don't know what else I could try.

I love blogging, and I love YouTube, I just don't know if I'm creative enough to make a living out of it. But I won't lie, making it my job would be awesome! I love how bloggers and youtubers get to travel a lot and discover new places, go to events and meet new people.
I'd also love to work in something makeup or beauty related. Even tho I studied Fashion design I always felt more passionate about beauty than fashion.

There's this other part of me who really enjoys organizing events, planning things. From activities, food, theme, food to decoration and goodies.

And of course, everything animal related would be a great job for me. I love animals, I always have so, taking care of them or just working with them would also be a dream job.

But,there's also something very rewarding about being a teacher, even if it has its ups and downs, I love it. I love how I get to be part of a person's education and just life in general. I love to teach and inspire others even if it's a little bit.

I guess my dream job would be a mix of all the activities I mentioned before, what can I say? I wish I could do it all!

Not sure if this is the way this blog post should've been but, yeah~ Still hope you enjoy.

See you tomorrow!! x

💕 | March Favorites 2019 | Makeup, Yummies and Anime

Bye bye March! Honestly, I'm so glad it's over. I feel like it was one of those months that feel too long and not too good.
Even tho I don't have those many favorites, there are a few things I's like to share with you all.

Ready?

💕 Makeup

The first one is something I recieved as a part of my Valentine's day pressies back in February and I've been using non-stop ever since.
Knowing I love blushes, Dee Dee Eonni gave me this Baoishi Cosmetics Fashion Blusher in number 02. It comes with two colors: one is a cool toned pink and the other is a peachy shade with a slight hint of pink. Both are very pigmented and last through the whole day.I
They had really pretty Spring designs on but, it already started to fade away. I also appreciate the fact that it comes with a small mirror. I don't use the applicator it comes with but, it's really cute cuz it's super tiny.

The next product is a lipstick from Sephora. I believe it's called #Lipstories. They had a huge variety of colors and finishes(?). I decided to get the one in number 3, "Oui!"
It is a nude color with a cream finish, perfect for everyday and it doesn't dry my lips.
I do have to say it is not super long lasting.
I loved the fact that each color has a different picture on the packaging and depending on that, is the name of the color. Most of them represent cities around the world, pretty landscapes and even animals.

All the colors available

💕 Yummies

More choco-mint for me please!
My friend Ceci's sister sent me this super duper yummy Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch Mint chocolates. I got super excited because I had no idea there was such thing.
It's Hershey's dark chocolate with a cereal layer and creamy mint OMG! It's perfection.
Sadly for me, I can't find them here where I live, or at least I haven't seen them yet. But I can totally say, they were one of my favorite things to snack on this month.

💕 TV

There are 2 short series I want to mention in here. They are both anime and they are both horror. Kinda.

The first one is Junji Ito Collection and as it says, it's a collection of short horror stories. Each episode shows 2 different stories so, it's easy to wanna watch more. It only has 12 episodes, I finished it in a week.
It's not really scary so, I'll recommend it even if you are not good with horror.

The other one is Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories. This is a 6 season anime with 13 episodes each. But it's super easy to watch because most episodes are only 5 minutes long. These stories are based on myths and urband leyends and most of them are linked in a way (which is something you'll discover at the end of the seasons).
Other than the stories, the music is kinda catchy too.

If you know similar shows, please let me know! I love them!
And, that's it for this month's favorites, I'll see you next time!!

Therapy Haul: Clothes, accessories & shoes! 👚 ❖ 👠

Hello there sweets!
Long time no haul! Or at least I feel like that~ Anyways, these past few weeks (or should I say month) have been super stressful so, I needed a bit of a shopping therapy. Hehe. OMG I have no self control.

WARNING: I suck at taking pictures of clothes.
With that being said, let's start with the haul:

The clothes and earrings are from an outlet store that sells different brands. Not all of them are exactly cheap but, you can find some pieces at a better price than their original.

👚 Clothes

The first piece I got is this orange and blue cardigan with stripes. It is called "Suri 34 cardigan" and it's from Vero Moda, which I believe is a Chinese brand(?). Not too sure. But I like their clothes because they always have cute details that make their pieces unique. For example, the sleeves on this sweater have this kind of knot that looks really pretty. It is a very thin sweater but I think it'll be perfect for this weather. It's getting super hot in here but, you can still wear a sweater early in the morning or at night.

Also from Vero Moda, I got this pearlish beige vest. It is also very thin and it has ruffles all over it. which make them look very girly. I'm not really a vest person but I really liked this one and I thought it'll be great for Spring time.

Then we have a winter piece (because of the fabric, I think it's wool.) that I think I can still wear before it gets hotter. These are brown shorts with suspenders from a brand called ONLY True Collection Streetwear (probably Chinese too).
The suspenders don't look too strong but I feel like they are more for desing than fucntion so, it's all good. They are also removable.
This piece feels too European to me but, I just couldn't leave them.

Accessories

Golden heart earrings from Lulu Style. This was pretty much an impulse while waiting on line to pay. But I like them! They are cute and I don't own many golden accessories.

👠 Shoes

I got these two from a shoe catalogue, they were having one of those 2 x 1 kind of thing and I went for it.

I'm gonna start with my favorites. Thing is, I wanted to have this kind of shoes since I was a little girl. It is no secret how much I love Sailor Moon and if you are a die hard fan like me, you'll remember Usagi's school shoes. I was so happy when I found them! Cool thing is, I can still wear them even tho I'm not a small girl anymore. The heel is pretty small, they are comfortable to walk around and, I JUST LOVE THEM!

can we just take a moment to appreciate the shoes? hehe

The other pair are navy blue and have this classic style. They were not my first choice but I still think I can match them with the things I have.

And, that's it for my little therapy haul. Hope you enjoy and, I'll see you next time!!

My updated Skicare Routine | ☼ Morning and 🌙 night |

Hey sweets!
It's been a long time since I did and updated skincare routine post. I was checking my last (and only) one and all the products I used back then have changed.
I have to say that I keep my skin care short and quick becasue I usually don't have time for many steps in the morning before work so, don't expect too many products here. What I can say is that it has been working well with me and my sensitive skin.

What I've learned with time is that it is good to invest in quality products because a good skin will make any makeup brand look good. It's all about having a healthy skin.

Now I can say I am a lot more commited to my skincare than I was a few years ago and even tho there are weeks when I don't use facemasks, my day and night routine remain the same.

Let's start with my morning routine:

I always start it washing my face with cold water and the MINISO Cotton Mild Cleansing Foam. The cold water helps me to depuff my face and to feel more awake. I changed to this cleanser after using the MISSHA Creamy Latte Cleansing Foam for years. I like it because it is super soft and foamy, is gentle to the skin and it doesn't have any scent to it.
Product features: "Cotton soft texture. Bring you a comfortable and pleasing cleaning experience. Gently lifts away oil and impurities from your skin, leaving it beautifully cleansed and refreshed."

Next step is toner, I'm currently using the MINISO Nourishing Moisturizing Toner that, even tho it has a gelish kind of texture, it's super watery and it absorbs quickly. This one doesn't have any scent and it automatically leaves my skin looking and feeling moisturized and soft.

Moving on to mosturizer. The Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Cream has been a must for me since I discovered it. It gives an instant glow to my skin, leaving it soft and mosturized all day. It also gives it a dewy look I love. It contains Super Hyaluronic Acid and it also plumps wrinkles and fine lines.

Last step, before applying my makeup is sunscreen. It doesn't matter if it's sunny or not, I always make sure to apply it. I went back to the Mary Kay Suncare Sunscreen with SPF 50. It is not as thick as others, it blends well with my makeup and it doesn't give me that ghostly looks other sunscreens do.

Ah! Can't forget about lip balm. I'm still loving the Tony Moly Bbo Bbo balm as my fist lip balm of the day. It makes a big difference when I apply my lipstick.
And, that's it! We're done with the morning skincare routine.

Some of my night time products are the same as morning so I'll just mention them.

🌙

Removing my makeup has to be one of the most satisfying things to do at the end of the day, for that I'm using the MINISO Sakura Water Bright Cleansing Balm as well as the  NIVEA MicellAIR Expert micellar water. I switch between those two depending on the mood.
I'm a big fan of micellar water and this particular one is great when it comes to removing waterproof makeup. Both products are very effective, the difference is, micellar water removes my makeup faster than the Sakura balm.

After that I wash my face using the same Cotton Mild Cleansing Foam..
Then is time for toner and moisturizer, Miniso Nourishing Moisturizing Toner and  Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Cream (because I read you can also use it as a night cream).

As for eye cream, I use the Anti-aging, firming eye cream from Deliplus. I got this one in Spain so I'll have to find a new one once I finish it.
This cream is very watery and light compared to others I've used. It doesn't have any scent and it's gentle to the skin which is a big plus considering my eyes easily react to products.

Last thing would be, again, lip balm. The Tony Moly Bbo Bbo balm.

Also, I exfoliate my face twice a week using the Bioré charcoal scrub which is super soft and gentle. I usually like scrubs to be a lot more rough but this one has been working well for now.
And, can't forget about facemasks. I usually go for sheet masks but I also like to try others, depending on what my skin needs. I always go for Freeman masks whenever I don't do sheet masks. As for those, I like to try different brands. Mostly Asian ones.

And, that is it for my current skin care routine. Hope you found it helpful in a way just keep in mind what works for me may not work the same for everyone. ♡
