Beauty Cream O'Cheal

It's time to show you the new BB cream I'm currently loving, which is, again, a present from my mom hehe. I feel like most of the products I've been trying lately are gifts from her.

It's the Beauty Cream O'Cheal in the shade 02 Natural. I believe they have other 2 shades. I haven't worn BB cream in a long time so it 's been fun and refreshing to go back to it.

I do want to start by talking about the presentation cuz, I love it! It comes in a black box with a flower pattern, same pattern you can find in the case. It looks very cheerful and springy.

Inside the box you can find the square shaped plastic case with the product, along with a mushroom puff in a nice pouch. Love the small details!

The plastic case has a good quality and, even tho it is light, the plastic is thick enough. When you open it, you'll find this type of cushion with the product. You just have to gently pat on it to get the product. First time I used it I did it a little too hard and a lot of product came out so yeah, be gentle.

The application is actually super clean and easy, you can always use the puff it comes with or, your own beauty blender.

Moving on to the actual product, it is a super lightweight BB cream that combines the coverage of a foundation with the lightness of a moisturizer. Even tho it has a medium coverage, it's light enough to build up the coverage without feeling or looking thick. It has an even, long-lasting coverage, leaving your skin with a very natural, healthy and glowy. Plus, it has UV protection.

Before pic shows my washed face and some skincare. I do have some redness, moles and very light freckles.
After applying the BB cream, you can still see my moles but my complexion looks a lot more even. I only applied one layer.

It has a very slight, clean scent to it that disappears after a while and the product doesn't set on fine lines even after hours of wearing it. It also claims to be water and sweat proof.

I haven't been wearing makeup every songle day lately but, I'm pretty happy with it everytime I do. It is a product I defo recommend.

See you next time~! ♡

Axiu B5 Moisturizing Cream with Hyaluronic Acid

Spring is right around the corner and the weather has been sooo hooot! That's why it was time to change to a much lighter hydrating cream. My mom tried this cream before and really liked it so, she gave me one to try too. It's the Genesis Cosmetics Axiu B5 Moisturizing Cream with Hyaluronic Acid which claims to effectively repair skin cells, provide nutrients and clam your skin, reducing redness and irritation. Plus having anti-aging properties.

Love the metallic blue presentation!

It is super lightweight and fresh, it absorbs super fast, leaving a nice and soft sensation on the skin. It is not sticky at all and it has a very nice and subtle citrus scent to it.

I've been using it twice a day, for a little over a month now and I'm very happy with it. It does give you a calming sensation after being out in the hot, plus it's gentle on my skin, which is super important cuz my skin tends to be very sensitive.

Happy skin after its skincare ✧

Even tho I haven't noticed much when it comes to the anti-aging part, I do see and feel my sking super soft, bright, healthy and hydrated. I'm very happy with it! 💙

Mon's kitchen | What I eat in a week (work edition) |

Earlier this year my uncle gave me this bento box set and ever since, I've been a little more motivated to prep my lunch, hehe.

I always go for simple things that I can eat fast-ish during our lunch break at work. Sometimes I'd buy things like sausages or make sandwiches but, there are other days where I bring some food lefovers along with small complements. And, I usually bring some flavored milk, yakult or yogurt, it depends.

We do have a microwave oven at work but I rarely use it, I'm too lazy. So, I try to bring things that can be eaten cold or, I'll just eat them like that. 😅

Honestly, I only make lunch for 3 days cuz I work from home the rest of  the week but, I decided to share 5 days to make it look more like a normal week. Here is what my work lunch looks like:

Day 1: fish fingers and some veggies. I decided to make some siracha-mayo to dip them. It was pretty good. As for the sweet snack, I had 2 small slices of condensed milk bread.

Day 2: Sausages with ketchup and siracha, I also added some watermelon with tajin as a healthier snack. For dessert, we have more bread that I had to cut in small pieces to make it fit. Lastly we have my favorite Santa Clara flavored milk, the cotton candy one.

Day 3: Tuna mayo salad with some crackers(?), yakult and a blueberry bar thingy. For dessert I brought some strawberry milk taffy.

Day 4: Two small enchiladas potosinas and a few jalapeño cheddar chips for the savory part. My usual bar and a Valie's day butter cookie for dessert and a yakult.

Day 5: One of my favorite sandwiches is peanut butter and cheese, hehe. I know it sounds gross for some but, I love it. Along with it I also brought some pineapple, a bar and another favorite, the Alpura "mermaid" milk, which it's blueberry flavor.

I know my choices might not be the healthiest or best ones but, they are fast and easy and, I like that. Don't judge me, haha. Also, I never showed it but, I always bring a water bottle with me and have some coffee every now and then.

What do you guys usually have for lunch?

🛒 Walmart Finds | January - February 2024 |

After a couple of months, we are back with a collective Walmart finds post. Today I'll share some of the things I loved during January and February.

This time I have mostly food and a house related thing. Let's start with the food~

This soy bacon from Great Value was something I randomly found and decided to get because well, even tho I never buy soy stuff, I love bacon and thought it'd be great to sprinkle on different dishes. This product comes with 80g in a ziplock bag, which is great to keep it fresh. It is crunchy, savory and it does give the feeling you're eating bacon. I like to sprinkle them on pasta, mashed potatoes and egg. It's great and has a very affordable price.

Chachitos is this very old, super cheap wheat cereal that has a very special place in my heart cuz we used to love them as a snack during my childhood in my grandparents' house. So, eating them brings back good memories. I'm including them here because I always had the vanilla and chocolate ones but didn't know there was a strawberry version too. Surprisingly, they are not pink! But the strawberry flavor is there. It's like... as if you were eating chachitos with strawberry milk.

Sriracha is a very popular hot sauce made from a paste of chili peppers, distilled vinegar, pickled garlic, sugar, and salt. I knew it existed but didn't think I'd love it as much as I do now. I was always a Valentina sauce type of girl but now, I am obsessed and I can't go back. It is spicy tho, so I don't add much but I love it with pretty much everything!

I loooove Morimoto gummies and when I saw this 2 new flavors on their instagram page, I knew I had to try them. I was super excited when I found them and, of course, got them. I was mostly excited about the matcha ones but, I ended up liking the yogurt gummies a lot more. Don't get me wrong, both are really good but, it was an unexpected surprise.

Thanks to my mom and sister, I discovered this Sangría Don Simón and, I've been addicted to it ever since. This 1L. presentation has 7% alcohol and the perfect sweetness. At least to me. I like it because it's delish, convenient and super affordable. I haven't tried it like this but, I'd like to add some frozen (or normal) fruits to it.
Even tho this is a product from Spain, I just loved how it had the information in Japanese too. You know, I'm obsessed hehe.

Moving on to house goodies~

I bought these floating shelved from Home Creations. I got similar ones for my living room months ago, but in white. This time I got brown ones, simulating wood. They are very light and, I love them cuz they come with everything you need, making the installation super easy. It came with 3 shelves, same lenght just different width. I used 2 for my dining room and one for my kitchen.

And there you go guys, some of my fav finds. I'll keep this as a monthly / 2 months kind of thing, depending on how many things I find and like.
Anyway, let me know if you have or will try one of these and if you liked them!

See you next time~! ♡

Simple Pink Acrylic Nails 💕

Time to show you what's currently on my nails.

I think I've mentioned this before but, it is almost impossible for me to keep my nails long and pretty. They are very weak and break easily. I've tried press on nails before and, even tho I like them, they are not the best option if you want to keep them for over a week.

Last weekend, my sister and I randomly decided to get our nails done. Last time I got acrylic nails was many years ago and my experience with them wasn't exactly the best.

These are the designs we chose. I guess they both reflect our personalities, hehe.

I decided to go for square nails, to me, they are classic and pretty. I think I played it safe tho, choosing my staple pale pink and glitter. There's something about that combo I find clean and cute. It goes well with everything!

Even tho they are slightly longer than I'd usually go for, they feel comfortable and allow me to do things naturally. There is something about long nails that makes you hands look instantly prettier, haha. Plus it's gonna be super convenient to have them looking like this without having to worry about them for a while.

I can see myself becoming addicted to them, you know, I love papmering myself~ ♡

Kobeleen Powder Blusher Stick

I remember there was a time when I was obsessed with blushes. I had way too many and I couldn't stop buying them. I still love them, I just don't buy as much makeup as I used to.

That's why I was very excited when my mom gave me this one. The Kobeleen Powder Blusher Stick, which is not only super cute, but also has a presentation I haven't seen before.

These blush sticks come in 4 different shades. The one I have is #02, Peach Milk Fufu, which is this peachy pink kinda shade, really cute!

Peach Milk Fufu

Honestly, I love its presentation, it has the perfect size to carry around without worrying about it breaking in your bag, retouching is easy cuz you don't have any loose powder fying around plus, it's really pretty to look at even tho it's very clean and simple. The color combination add some cuteness to it.

Now, about the actual product; it is a double end blush stick, in one end there's the blush and in the other one there is a soft sponge to apply and blend the product.
It claims to be waterproof, sweat-proof and last for a long time. I didn't think it'd be as pigmented as it actually is but, pigmentation wise, I'm impressed. Durability is also great.
It has a matte finish and doesn't have any scent to it.

Application is easy too, I just dab it twice and blend with my favorite Sephora blush brush. To me that is enough to get a nice, natural color on my cheeks. But I guess you can apply more if you want a stronger color.

So to wrap it up, I've been loving this product, it's been my everyday blush lately and I'd defo like to try the other 3 shades they have. 💋

Podcasts Recommendations #2

A couple of year ago, I shared some podcasts I was obsessed with and said I was going to share a second part, even tho I never stopped listening to them, I just forgot to share it. I've been listening to many, I still listen to some and others are forgotten, for now.

Today, I'm going to share the ones I'm currently loving and can't miss each week. Surprisingly, we have 2 in spanish! So, let's check them out~

I'll start with the ones that are in English:

Girls Next Level: Some of you already know there was a moment in my life where I was obsessed with Playboy thanks to the reality show The Girls Next Door. So, I was super excited when Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison decided to start a podcast together in which they go through every episode of the show, spilling the tea on everything that happened behind the scenes. They also have fun Q&As and special guests. Not long ago I rewatched the show so it's still pretty fresh. I really enjoy to relive everything as I listen to them sharing their real experiences. Plus, I just love them too much. This podcast is my motivation every Monday, hehe.

Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty: This is a recent one but it's still pretty good! I liked Shannen back in Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed, those were two of my favorite shows growing up so, I defo had to give this one a chance. It is more of an informative / personal life and experiences kind of pod in which Shannen just opens up with her guests.

Now let's move to the ones in Spanish~

Proyecto Evangelion: This one was my sister's recommendation and I've been enjoying every second of it, especially because I recently started rewatching the anime. They are pretty much just fans of the show who get together and analyze each episode with special guests, sharing opinions and thoughts but also interesting facts about the show that maybe I never paid enough attention before. I'm trying to watch an episode and then listen to the pod so I can have all the info fresh, hehe. I'm obsessed with the show again!

Se Regalan Dudas: Leticia Sahagún & Ashley Frangie, the hosts of this pod, are two best friends who pretty much talk about a bit of everything: life, relationships, books, psychology and more along with special guests. They always try to have deep conversations that have been pretty-eye opening and just helpful for me. I feel like, in a way, it's helping me to know and understand myself a little more.

And well, there you go! My favs at the moment. I'll link the previous post donw below in case you want to check it out. I still listen to some of the pods I mentioned back then.
