Welcome to another cat sitting update. 3 months have passed since Sassy arrived and, I think we finally did it guys! They finally live in peace, haha. 

Masha stills annoys Sassy at times but I think it is just part of her personality cuz, same happened with Michee when they lived together. 

It's nice to finally see Sassy taking naps, playing and relaxing in different parts of the house without worrying about Masha being around. She even enjoys long naps on my bed, something she didn't do before. She also likes to spend time on my kitchen rug when we are in the kitchen.

Honestly, I felt really bad thinking that Sassy would spend her time here stressed by Masha if things never got better. Guess I just had to be more patient.

Something I've noticed tho, is that Masha gets jealous everytime she sees me petting or playing with Sassy and she gets mad at me, haha.

But I do feel everything is more calm now and I feel relieved. We're half way through and I really hope they'll become friends before Sassy goes back home.

Lime Crime Prep & Prime Setting Spray

I've been using this product for a couple of years now and for whatever reason I keep forgetting to write about it. It is part of my everyday makeup routine and one of my favorite products. 

It is the Lime Crime Prep & Prime Setting Spray which also works as a setting spray. It is a very lightweight spray with a very subtle sweetish scent to it. It's supposed to work for all skin types and helps with oil control.

You can use it before applying your makeup to prep the skin, or after makeup as a setting spray. I usually just spray it after my makeup and kinda set it with my beauty blender.

The bottle comes with 300ml and lasts for a loooong time. It does help my makeup to look great for a long time, giving my skin a healthy glow without looking shiny. It also minimizes pores.

It originally came in a pink & white box but I got rid of it. The bottle is fun and cute! I really like the aqua color with the pink and gold details.

I'd highly recommend this product if you like a dewy finish, not a matte one. This is not my first bottle and I'll defo buy it again once I run out of it. I've been really loving it since my mom gave it to me a few years ago.

Teacher's Day Pressies

It's been a couple of years since I last posted a Teacher's Day pressies post... maybe it was because of the pandemic. I really don't know but I enjoy making this type of posts so, we're gonna do it this year!!

Teacher's Day was on the 15th, but since it was a Sunday, most of the pressies arrived the following week. And, I didn't have time to put this blog together until now. Life's been kinda super busy lately.We had a lunch reunion at work to celebrate and a long weekend after that. (I still had to work tho). May has been full of long weekends and days off and I never had the chance to enjoy them cuz of my work~ Oh well, adult life is hard sometimes... :')

Anyway, here are the pressies I received this year:

Baby succulent plant! It was the first gift I recieve at the Teacher's day reunion. I hope it survives, hehe. I like how simple, yet pretty the pot is.

I got chocolate with some of my pressies. ♡ 

I also received a cute makeup bag with a floral print and a very colorful gel pen. The makeup bag could also work as a pencil case. 

The We Bare Bears pouch is actually a manicure set which I thought was a cute and not-so-common gift. It's cool cuz I didn't have one. And Panda is my fav bear out of the 3. 

I think receiving personalized mugs is a yearly tradition, hehe. Not complaining tho, They are really cute! Both came with some yummies inside!

This phone holder came in perfect timing because I recently changed my phone and they match perfectly! I love the design and colors. Can you tell my students know me too well?

We also have some accessories! A cute golden necklace with matching earrings.

Personalized coffee cups! Both are perfect to bring my coffee to work, hehe. The pink one came with some tea bags and cappuccino inside.

Lastly we have this handmade candle that smells reaaaaally good! It's kind of a cherry lollipop scent.

As always, I'm super thankful for the pressies, the hugs and kind words. I'm so lucky to be able to share what I know with my students and constantly learn from them too.

Once upon a time, I was a Shinigami...

 Now that I've been unpacking and organizing some stuff at home, I've found some things that reminded me of fun times back in the day and I thought it'd be nice to find more and share them with you all. Specially while I wait for the new Bleach Arc. So yeah, today is going to be a story time kind of post. So grab a snack and your sake of choice cuz, I feel like this is going to be a long read.

 I'm sure not all of you knew this but yeah, a loooong time ago, (don't remember exactly how long tho) I was a Shinigami~ Well, more like a role player. Haha.

If you're not familiar with what role playing is, it's basically creating an account as a character you like and interact with other rpers as if you were them. I guess people role played on different social media ( I noticed it was popular on Tumblr too) but I chose twitter. I know it's sounds kinda weird but back then, it was a lot of fun. I don't even know how I did it but, I used to stay up until 3am just role playing~! Guess I had a lot of free time... :')

As time went by I created many accounts, some of them might still be out there in the longest hiatus ever! I can't even remember the user names or passwords now. But some of them were Misato from Evangelion, Komatsu Nana, Winry Rockbell from FMA and others. My first and most popular RP account was my Matsumoto Rangiku account. She was and still is my favorite Bleach character, we do have some things in common: we are lazy, love sake and hate paperwork. Hehe. I believe this was the account where I interacted the most and for the longest time due to how popular Bleach was. My boyfriend at that time had a Gin account and of course, we gave them a happy life together ♡. Gin and Ran even got married and had a baby. We named him Heiji.

Since Heiji wasn't an official character, my sister designed and draw him. she made this digital illustration that I had to print. It was too cute! 

There were so many Bleach accounts so it was easy to talk to other characters from the anime but, Ran also had followers from other shows which helped me meet a lot of people from different parts of the world. I met some weird characters, not so nice ones and others I got to know more out of their character. Some people will always have a special place in my heart and memories but, there are others I'm still friends with now. Not just rpers tho, other people that weren't exactly rping but met me through the character too. 

I don't remember my first user name, I do know I changed it Rangiku10thSquad after a few years. I could be wrong tho~ But, I used to put a lot of effort on that accout, it's crazy! Not only tweets wise, I also tried to post pictures constantly and even took my own Rangiku pics to share there. It was like living in my own happy place or a full time job. A fun one... 

I completely forgot about this pic! And I used to think it was pretty cool. Hehe. It was to thank my followers when Ran reached over 200.

I think it was around that time when I also did a veeeery improvised Rangiku cosplay. I probably used some of those pics on the account as well. *sighs* Sometimes I miss the good old days~ And now that I think about it, I'd love to dress up as Ran again one day. I'd probably change a lot of things.

LOL for some reason, I had the same expression in most of my solo pics~ I guess the cosplay is not too bad but, it needs big improvement. My hair was so short for Rangiku and Idk why it looks so red.

As life got busier for everyone, I spent less and less time there and eventually just stopped. It took me a long time to actually delete the account tho, mostly because of all the memories and people behind it (add to that how difficult it was for me to let go of things). It felt like closing a chapter in my life.

Somehow I feel Rangiku (and Gin!) will always be a BIG part of my life and a special character for me, hehe. And well, to finish this post, I'm gonna share with you some of the pics and thingies I found from my RP days~ Enjoy!! 😘 

Aww, this was the first sake I bought. Not my first time trying it tho. I already had the 10th squad tea cup. That bottle is so small!!!! I'm not sure if I used a phone to take this pic but, it is not that great.

OMG I found a bunch of "scrapbook" pics I used to make (I completely forgot!). Some time after cosplaying as Ran, I got my own Haineko. Sadly, it broke and I don't have her anymore.

I used to love this tee. I think I still have it somewhere, but the print on the back started to peel off(?) the t-shirt so I just wore it to be around the house.

I even got a 10th squad birthday cake at some point! Which, of course, was shared on my twitter account.

The daffodil is the 10th division emblem, that's why my cake had it.

This poor thing is kinda dirty but, it is my wooden LT badge thingy! It was made for my  Rangiku cosplay and surprisingly, it wasn't heavy to carry around. Guess I'll find it a place to display at home now.

Of course, there's no Rangiku without persimmons. I didn't try them until years later but, it made me feel like my Rangiku was complete. Hehehe

And that was a walk down memory lane... I think I might have more things and pics that I couldn't find for this post but, it was defo nostalgic in a way.

CCP Cowboy Bebop Dress

Awkward posing... LOL

Remember how last year I was buying Sailor Moon clothes from Cuidado con el Perro like crazy? Well, not long ago one of my best friends got a pretty cool Cowboy Bebop t-shirt dress and I went crazy! Then we got a white tee for our friend Marlon's birthday but when she went to get it, she told me there was not much left, I wasn't surprised considering how hard it is to find Cowboy Bebop official merch so, I knew I had to go get mine before they were all gone!!

I always complain that Anime licensed clothes are mostly for men in Cuidado con el Perro, I still buy them tho. But this time I was surprised of how many women stuff they had! Big yay for that!

From what I saw on their website, they have a new Cowboy Collection that includes pretty cool jackets, hoodies, skirts, shirts, dresses and even pants featuring the CB characters. I have to say they have nice and unique designs this time.

At first I was planning to get the same my friend has, then, when I got there, I chose a Vicious and Spike kind of jersey t-shirt just because they were Julia's men and well, I love Spike's past. But then, as I was checking other clothes with my mom I saw the most perfect tee dress... a white Spike x Julia dress. I WASN'T EXPECTING IT! I never find anything featuring Julia!

This is the pic on my tee dress, which is also one of my fav ones.

I actually thought it was a very long t-shirt when I first bought it, then I saw it is actually a dress.

The design is pretty simple, it is a white, cotton, boxy type of dress with a round neck and short sleeves. We have the Julia and Spike print in black and white with Cowboy Bebop written in purple which, I think, gives it a nice pop of color.

Something I really, really like are the details on the sleeves!

I got a size S thinking the others would be too big. It fits nicely and it is super comfy to wear. Lenght wise, it reaches my knees but, we gotta remember I'm pretty short.

The fabric is slightly see-through so I recommend wearing something underneath. I chose a nude bra and white lycra shorts(?).

I kinda want to go back and buy more pieces from this collection. I did notice some of the clothes are on sale right now. (Including the one I got)

Apartment 07 | Updates |

It's been a little over half year since I moved! Oh Emm Gee, where did time go?! 

At first I thought I'd sit down and write monthly apartment updates but, truth is, I just haven't had enough time to do so! Even to properly work on the place that much~ I have some vlogs I haven't finished editing yet!

But, a few things have changed since my last post. I'll start with the most recent event: My floor is finally ready now! I got the chance to buy it back in December, when I managed to have a decent amount of money and, got it installed during my Spring Break. I wanted white floor but people kept telling me even tho it looks pretty, it would be very dirty so I ended up choosing an ivory / pearlish color that I really like. It really lightens up the place and makes it look and feel bigger.

It is also easier to clean and now, we can finally start buying more furniture and decorate.

Before the floor, I actually started painting some parts of the apartment. Starting with the bathroom. Which has been my ongoing project since the year started and even tho my dad and I have been working on small things, I haven't had the chance to finish it, hehe. Busy life is busy.

It's been nice to have my dad's help and work together. Not only because of the results but also because of the time spent and memories behind it. Plus, I just love using tools!

I also bought a beautiful pink sofa for my living room. At first I said that I didn't want a pink living room but I kinda fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. It's exciting to finally start buying furniture for my house!!

I'm obsessed with my sofa. I really enjoyed putting it together.

Even tho there's still a lot I want to but and furniture I want to change, I'm using everything I have for now to make my house a little more complete and homey (if that's a word).

My kitchen is the most complete place right now. I'm in love with my kitchen rugs from Yoyoso! Those cat butts are adrobs!

I remember I kinda wanted an Instagramable house before moving, now I really want my place to be super cozy place, that has a bit of eveyrthing I like and my personality. That's why I want to find cute and unique pieces.
