Guyssss, is it just me or the month just flew by? It's crazy! But I'm so glad Spring is here, even tho it doesn't feel like it, I'm just tired of Winter.
I feel like I keep saying this every month but, life keeps getting busier and busier! Not in a bad way tho. And somehow, I still manage to find time to have fun and stuff but, I live running on extra coffee cuz it's never enough.
Anyway, let's start chatting about what my March looked like.
I'll start with time management because it's always SO hard for me but I've trying to have productive mornings without making everything feel overwhelming. Something that has been working for me is to focus on one thing for 1 hour straight and then move to a different thing for the next hour and so on. For example, after having breaky while watching a 30 minute show (mostly anime or some YouTube sometimes), I start doing some boring house chores with a pod or music on the background for an hour, I try to tackle as many things as possible, but they don't have to be big tasks all the time, it could be doing the dishes, doing laundry, putting away some stuff, it depends on what's needed. After that hour, I get ready for the day and then, an hour for some work pendings, etc. I also include blogging, and other things that might take some time. Of course that's not how my whole day works but I feel like doing it has helped me to tackle more things in a day, big or small and I kinda avoid distractions. Kinda.
When it comes to work, it was an eventful month that started with a NatGeo training out of the city. I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda lazy to go at first but, I ended up really enjoying it. It's the first time I have the chace to do something like that at a job. And honestly? It made me feel good, I learned stuff and I even got to spend spend some quality time with my boss, which was really nice too.

They gave us some goodies, I love free stuff, hehe.
Then on the 21st, we celebrated the 9th anniversary of the language school with a small but fun event. We played some games and had cake and surprisingly, I wasn't terrified about leading an activity, interacting with parents or speaking in public. I think this job has helped me grow in many different ways in a short time, I'm a lot more confident. I always stuggled with talking with parents, and sometimes even when starting new courses, I used to get super nervous and anxious and now, I can tell I feel a lot better when I'm in those situations and handle it feeling sure of what I'm saying and just, confident in general. It's funny how the working environment and the people you work with can help (or affect) us in those aspects.
Aside from work, one of my fav things was this small Spring festival thing in which they had stands from different countries. You could buy goodies and try their food. I just love these type of things. It was super crowded but, I was able to buy some things for my house, ate dango for the first time (I loooove mochi, but I had never tried dango before ) and absolutely loved it, drank delish sangria as I walked around and saw an Irish guy dressed as St. Patrick. Lol (forgot to take a pic).
Ah! I also had my first Dairy Queen ever. Is it a super exciting thing to share? Maybe not but, here we are. I had a black cherry milshake and, to me, it was worth the hype.
And, now that we are talking about food I have to share the snack I've been loving lately: Flamin' hot chips with ketchup. I know, I know. Gross. Well, I love ketchup so, yeah. I was someone who couldn't eat flamin' hot anything, it was too spicy but the ketchup makes it all better. Of course it is not something I eat everyday but, when I do, it's just yummy.
That naturally leads us to drinks. This month I tired these Sake Jelly Shot by IKEZO and, what a fun and delish drink to have! I tried yuzu and mix berries, mix berries is the winner so far. You have to shake this sake really well cuz it comes with jelly so, it becomes this thick, sweet, jelly-like alcoholic drink. Plus, it was a little nostalgic cuz, my first sparkling sake was by this same brand, many, many years ago.
Moving on to books and shows, I finally finished my
Full Metal Panic! Collector's Edition 3 I am absolutely obsessed and loved every part of it. Now I will start watching
FMP! Invisible Victory again, cuz that's the season that covers what I read and it's the only one I haven't rewatched a million times.
I also finished my
Mugen No Juunin rewatch that started months ago. I think I enjoyed it more this time cuz I knew the characters better and had some favorites. It's a great anime if you like samurai.
But other than that, I haven't watched many new things. I just finished the latest season of Oshi No Ko and Jujutsu Kaisen The Culling Game Pt. 1. Both were SO GOOD!

I was so not ready for this season to end~~~
A movie I was really looking forward to watching was Ready or not, here I come 2 mostly because of Sarah Michelle Gellar. I have to say I did not watch the first movie but I kinda had an idea of what it was about. It wasn't really difficult to understand or anything and, I actually really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it'll be one of those movies I'll rewatch over and over again but, I had a great time and I know I'll be watching the 1st one sometime soon.

We didn't expect to laugh so much while watching this movie.
Moving on to other (random) things, I had to say goodbye to my old hair straightener. It was sad because I had it with me for years! My mom gave it to me over 10 years ago and, it was great. I'm gonna miss it. But, I received a new one, as a gift as well, and I hope we can spend many years together. Hehe.

It is the Revlon Ultra Straight 1" Ceramic Plat Iron. It is slightly smaller than my previous one but does the job pretty well. I just have to get used to its size. And, I like the fact that is a little bit more colorful than my previous one.
I love decorating my house, I'm constantly getting new goodies for it and moving things around. This month I was watching a YouTube video and saw the cutest thing to decorate a kitchen (or any other place really). It was to frame a handwritten recipe by your mom or someone else, maybe adding a cute fabric or paper on the background and put it somewhere in the kitchen. I asked my mom to write one recipe for me but then, I found out my sister actually has my grandma's recipe notebook. I loved my grandma so, so much, I immediately knew I had to use one of those for this idea. And, it turned out so beautiful! I think it's a very personal and cute way to honor someone you love and having a very unique decoration at home. In this case is for the kitchen because it's a recipe but, you can always do it with other things like letters, notes, etc. and put them somewhere else.

And to finish this monthly recap, I wanna share a makeup product I started using this month and been absolutely loving, it's the Bausse Fija Cejas brow gel. I got it at the supermarket for a very, very cheap price and, it works great! I barely have brows but, I wanted something that could keep them in place and maybe helped me to make them look a little fuller and, it does the job. It's super easy and clean to apply, dries fast and doesn't make my brows look dry or something. Defo a good find.
That'll be it, for now. If you read until the end, thank you! I know it was long this time, hehe. As I'm posting this, I'm on my Spring break, I have a week off and I'm planning to work on some things around the house that I might share around here at some point.

See you next time~! 💋
