Zombie School Girl

Hi hi spooks!

Halloween keeps getting closer and closer so it's time to think of a costume for those who enjoy dressing up.
Dressing up is always fun but it can be expensive. Last year I wore Zombie School Girl costume for a Zombie March with my friends, it was pretty much a last minute thing cuz we decided to go like a day before the actual march.

I created this outfit using things I already had and worked a little more on my make-up.
I wore a plaid skirt from GAP with a white but blood splashed white shirt, high socks and cute piggy tails. As for my make-up I tried to keep it as pale as possible, and focus on the eyes using browns, pinks and a bit of purple.
Add some blood at some random places and you're ready!

I liked the end result. Not too bad for a last minute costume.
Hope it gives you some ideas for an easy and cheap costume this year.

Little Red Riding Hood

A few weeks ago I went to Expo Magyc I had this little photoshoot. I decided to wear the Little Red Riding Hood costume I bought for Halloween a year and a half ago. Everyone was dressing up so, it was the perfect chance to wear it again in a less creepy way this time though.

I totally forgot about the pics until I got them a few days ago. So, here they are, Little Red Riding Hood Mon~ hehee.

Red lipstick is an old red Pierre Cardin lipstick, sadly I threw away the box so I don't know the exact color of it. But I have to say is one of the greatest lipsticks I have, it's a great color and durability is just great. I love it.

Red kiss! X

Till death do us part...

Here comes another Halloween costume post. This one was a costume I wore like 2 or 3 years ago. (not sure)
The idea came from the dress! This wedding dress was a design I made at school. I decided to dirt it up and add some blood to make it look perfect for Halloween. Make-up was inspired by "slitted mouth woman"... kinda.

Having my make-up done!

Make-up started with a super clean face to add the prosthetic wounds I got which had to go on both sides of my mouth. (they made it so hard for me to smile or talk~) Then we covered them with some concealer cuz it was too pink for my skin tone. Lots of purple and blue eye shadow were used as my base powder. Eyes were all purple-ish. and lips where covered with concealer.
Then we painted my arms and neck with those same colors to make it look like my face.
It's always fun to play with some fake blood so, I really enjoyed having some on my face too.

I can't remember the exact products I used for this one but I do remember we used a big brush (those you use to apply your cheek blush with) to paint my face and body.
Long wedding dress isn't exactly the most comfortable costume to wear but I was a happy dead bride (even if it doesn't look like it) ready to marry a hot Zombie.

To make it look more deadly I had a dead, dry roses bouquet. It was just...lovely! Hehee.

You may kiss the bride~

Who's afraid of the wolf?... Not me!

One of the things I like the most is dressing up! No matter the occasion, but Halloween is definitely on of the funniest times of the year to do it. Last year I decided I wanted to be a creepy Little Red Ridding Hood. And funny thing is, I was inspired on my shoes. It took me a while (and some money) to find the right outfit but I think it was worth it. I made 3 different looks for this costume but this one was my favorite.

Make-up wasn't too complicated, I can't remember the exact products I used but I remember on my eyes I used a black eyeshadow as a base, then black eyeliner. The I started adding some orange eyeshadow mixing it with the black, extending the color almost to my cheekbones. Red comes in now! I don't have red eyeshadow so I used red lipstick (not too sure if that should be done~) and added more orange shadow over it.
Lips were the easiest. First I covered them with some concealer, then added some powder. My black eyeliner helped me to draw those small lips over mine and the "cuts"
Picture doesn't show but I was wearing soft black "blush"
Then I just splashed some fake blood on my face. I always like to use blood on Halloween. Hehee.

Outfit and make-up.

Do you guys know what are you gonna be this Halloween? Hope this will give you some ideas!

Bloody X!
