I wasn't wearing wearing any lipstick but I did notice my lips turned pinkier. I like the color tho, it's like a "my lips but better" kind of thing. |

Long time no lippie post!
With the pandemic still out there and having to wear a mask all the time I barely wear or buy lipsticks anymore.
But, not long ago, my mom gave me this pretty Flower Jelly Lipstick from a brand called Ninfei. The presentation is very pretty and girly.
It is one of those magic lipsticks that change color as you apply it. The difference from the others I have is that this one is transparent! And has a cute, green flower in it.
It is long lasting but not as long lasting as other magic lippies I've tried. It does come off as you eat and drink during the day. It leaves the lips feeling smooth but not super hydrated.
Surprisingly, it has a sublte peach scent, nothing floral.
It has a nice, soft, pink color that you can build up without feeling thick. It's one of those "my lips but better" kind of color and it doesn't smudge when you wear a mask.
Apparently there's also a pink version of them that I defo want to check!
I recieved this lippie back in December as a gift from my bestie, Ceci and I've been wearing it often since that day. By often I mean, whenever I know I won't be wearing a mask all day long. It is from Unicorn Glow and, even tho I've seen their products, it is my first time trying them.
Unicorn Glow is a cruelty free makeup brand made in Korea and designed in New York. Checking their instagram, I found many cute and colorful products. I liked their whole "Discover your Inner Unicorn" concept. You can find their products at WalMart and Amazon.
The Creamy Velvet Lip I recieved is in the color "01 Matte Caramel" and its a soft but beautiful peachy, nude shade, which were my favorites for a long, long time before the pandemic.
The presentation of this product is simple yet cute with the lip color on the bottle and cute silver iridescent stars on the white lid.
Like I said, more than a caramel, it is like a peachy color that actually smells like peach! It's just so good!! It applies smoothly and the layers are thin enough to build up the color to your liking cuz even tho it is pigmented, it doesn't apply evenly. It dries kinda fast without feeling sticky or patchy and it gives your lips a soft, velvety finish.
Now I'm curious to try more products from this brand. I'm not sure what the price range is because I didn't buy this one myself but I'll defo check next time I go to walmart. I miss buying makeup!! ðŸ˜
Have you tried products from Unicorn Glow?? Let me know! 🦄
I have to say I've liked what I've tried so far, even tho I haven't used them as much as I wanted, since I don't wear much makeup these days cuz my face is covered with a mask most of the time.
Still, I wanna talk about these babies!
They are the Bissú Labial Humectante (moisturizing lipstick) and I got these 2 shades: #24 and #104. These are defo my favorite lipstick shades and they are perfect for an everyday look.
#24, a peachy, nude-ish type of color |
#104 is a beautiful mauve pink. |
They have ingredients such as jojoba and vitamin e, to keep the lips soft and moisturized the formula is not sticky or thick at all.
These lippies are pigmented and they apply evenly, but they are not super long lasting. Which doesn't mean the durability is not good, they never claimed to be 24h lippies. And it's not bad for what you pay.
There are many colors to choose from and they also have a matte line. Even tho I like matte lipsticks, they tend to set on my lip lines and I just don't like that. That is also something I liked about these ones, they don't set on my lip lines.
All in all they are great, especially if your looking for something nice and affordable. I'd defo get more colors and I really want to get the chance to use these babies a lot more.
Thing is, I've been meaning to share it for a while now and for whatever reason it keeps getting postponed. It is the Wet n Wild Mega Last High Shine in a beautiful pink color called "Pinky Ring"
This line comes with 13 different shades with a creamy finish. They also have the matte versions which I believe also has 13 shades but the packaging is black.
It may be a little obvious but the first thing that attracted me to this product was the super cute presentation! It is a very simple all-white package with a transparent top on the lid that helps you to see the color and, the cute lips in rose gold.
The lippie is super creamy, buttery and easy to apply. According to the product's description, it contains murumuru butter, mango butter, sunflower seeds and watermelon seeds oils to help nourish and moisture your lips.
The application is smooth, easy and lightweight, you can build up the color but the product is pigmented enough to give you an even look with just one layer. It is also very long lasting, fragrance free and super affordable.
I've only tried a few products from Wet n Wild but my experience with them has been good. They have good quality and really affordable prices.
This last product I'm gonna share is the SANA Japan Maikohan Silky Fit Lip Tint Essence, which is a semi-mate lip tint with a kind of velvety finish. The shade is "06 Sakuranbo" and it's a beautiful bright cherry pink.
Looking online it says that it is inspired by the Japanese "dye/blur" culture. I'm guessing is kind of like creating a blur, gradient look using your fingers. Both ways look really nice.
Having to wear a mask everytime I'm out makes it hard for me to wear liptick but, I can't wait to use it a lot more real soon.
This Visée Crystal Duo Lipstick gives you that gradient effect with a glossy finish. It has a clear layer on the outside, that gives a shiny glossy effect and helps to blend the colored layer on the inside.
This lippie is the PK862 which is a pink shade with a coral-ish undertone and it's actually very mosturizing and works well without applying lipbalm, leaving your lips soft and moisturized for a long time. Plus, it doesn't settle on my lip lines, it doesn't have any scent and it doesn't feel thick on the lips.
The color is not super strong with one application. It does give you a nice and subtle pop of color but, you can always build up the color if you want it to look a little darker.
The presentation is really pretty! It has this kind of lace pattern that looks super elegant and girly. I love it!
Durability wise, it's good. You do have to reapply if you eat or drink something but, the color doesn't fade completely. It leave a nice hint of color on the lips.
