Birthday Pressies 2024 🎁🩷

 

I'm late with this post as usual but, here is my birthday post. This year my birthday was on a Monday (June 03rd) and since it is one of my busiest days, I started celebrating the weekend before. It all started with my family, lots of food, drinks, music & fun, then at work with my students and coworkers and last weekend I also celebrated with my friends.

It was really nice because I had surprises and celebrations before and after the actual day. As every year, I'm going to show you the pressies I recieved in no particular order. We're going to start with the cakes tho, cuz there's no bday celebration without cake. (or cakes! hehe)

First one was a mint-chocolate cake, next to it a strawberry cheesecake. Both were from my mom and sister. Next one was a cake a former student made for me, she decorated it with pink frosting cuz she knows, hehe. I shared that one with my students and the last one was the one I was supposed to eat with my friends but it had a little accident and died. I did have another cake but, for some reason, I don't have a pic of it.

Moving on to the pressies:

Sake my love! I received 2 bottles of Gekkeikan Sake. It was my frist time trying it and, I really, really liked it.

I love coffee but I usually drink instant because I'm lazy to make good coffee. Now I have no excuse, I received a coffee maker from Black + Decker which makes my life easier, hehe. I feel like my coffee station is a lot more complete now. It also came with some coffee 

Glue-on nails cuz you know, I'm a fan of fake nails since mine are never long enough or just pretty in general. These actually looked very natural.

Passion fruit chocolates and a coconut candle.

I know I already shared the cake but it came with a mini pink Bissú nail polish.

Here come some Sanrio goodies. Fist we have a Hello Kitty lip tint and a cute body cream and mist from Secret Scents. I can't tell the exact scent but it is soft and sweet.

Hello Kitty and My Melody are 2 of my fav Sanrio characters. Here we have some cute socks, hair band and a makeup bag.

Of course, we had some yummies too, these are mint-chocolate taffy. They are one of my favs!

This has to be one of my favs, a Barbie reusable bag. Love, love, love it! Most of my reusable bags aren't pretty so, I'm really excited to have a cute one now. 

I'll move on to some clothes now. Remember I'm not good at taking clothes pictures so, yeah.

I loved these wide-leg black pants, plus, they are very comfortable.

This green blouse has a very nice back but I didn't have time to take a nice pic of it, guess I'll show you later. Plus, I don't have many green pieces so, it'a a nice change.

First thing I thought when I saw these tweed pink shorts was: "Legally Blonde" 
I love them!

I feel like I always say this but, I really am lucky to have amazing people around me who are constantly showing me their love and support. This month is hard for me because it was also my dad's birthday and, father's day and I'm really thankful for everyone who makes it a little easier for me. I am so not excited to be a year older but, I feel like good things will come my way~! 💋

Birthday Pressies 2023

June is here, half year is already gone and, just like that, I celebrated another birthday. Being a year older doesn't make me too happy but, I did have a very happy birthday weekend celebrating with my friends and family. I'm glad to have people around me who, in a way, remind me that age is just a number.

Anyway, as every year, I'm going to show you the pressies I receive this year. They are not going to be in a particular order and I won't go into much detail cuz I might share some of them in separate posts. So, let's do this!

I'm going to start with my cakes, they're too cute not to show:

The Blast cake was a chocolate cake by Chez Moi Reposteria and the pink, sakura one was a pancake like cake, filled with blueberries made by my sister. 

Now, let's move on to the non-edible pressies~

Dusty rose backpack. It is a medium backpack that comes with a small pouch and many compartments. I really love the color, especially because most of my bags are light pink. I think i'll be able to carry a lot in it.

Husbandos! We have a pretty cool Sasuke figure from S.H.Figuarts, he comes with different faces and hand positions to make different poses. Also, a super cute Tomioka Charamaru Mascot Badge. He's adorable!

Nana manga volumes 10, 11 and 12 ♡

I decided to put these goodies together in one pic. We have nail polish, a cute pink eraser and, some anime stickers.

Since I moved, I love to receive things for my house. I wanted these holographic glasses for a while now and I finally got them. They are really big and very 90s!

As for clothes and accessories, I receive this funny yet cute tee that says: "At least my cat loves me", a really nice watch and super adorable bunny earrings.

I rarely receive flowers so, it's exciting everytime I do. This baby bouquet of gardenias smelled soooo good!

Some yummies! We all know food, especially desserts and sweets, can always make me happy.

🎂 My Happy Birthday + Pressies 🎁

A little late but, here's my bday post...

On June 03rd I celebrated another birthday, and even tho it was still a pandemic birthday in a way, it didn't feel like it.

My birthday was on Friday (yay!) but I started celebrating on Thursday, when my friend Diana took me to this cute and cozy coffee place when we had a break between work and a certification thing we recently started. It was a good way to relax, chat for a bit and recharge energy for the rest of the day.

On Friday I woke up to a cute birthday breakfast table with a mini chocolate cake, pressies and a crown that my mom prepped for me then, my students surprised me with lots of pressies, flowers and hugs. Everything was pink! Haha, they know me too well. After work I had lunch with my mom and sister at Starbucks, we all know Starbucks is my happy place. Saturday I also had lunch with the family to celebrate with my dad cuz his bday was on the 6th. And then, on sunday, my friends threw a Sailor Moon party for me! I never had a SM party before so, it was perfect.

Since I moved a few months ago, I told my friends and family they could give me some house stuff if they wanted to. Some of them did, some of them didn't but, I still loved everything I received. Specially because I know the love and time behind everything. Let's take a look at the pressies... (some of the snacks are gone now).

Bread! Those cupcakes where the leftover ones. One of my student's moms made like 10 huge strawberry muffins for me to share with the kids. 

More pink yummies! Haha. I love it when people include notes and letters to my pressies.

I can't remember the last time I had Pepero! Really excited to eat them as well as trying the Taro gummies.

チョコレート, Puchao cola chewy candy and my love, Kim Hyun Joong. I remember trying the puchao chewies a couple of years ago when my friend Tomi sent me a package from Japan. The cola ones are SO GOOD! I need more. 

I also receive some clothes. How cute is the cat tee?

Accessories and another letter ♡. Btw, it is my first time seeing SM earrings like these. So cute!

I don't receive roses often so these were such a nice, sweet surprise! 

Some beauty goodies! Sheet mask and cleansing foam from Tony Moly and a really cute perfume. It has a sweet scent, just the way I like them.

Starting with the house stuff, we have this super cute white and pink set that includes a salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls with spoons, a napkin holder, a jar and a container. I love the gold details! 

I have a Waffle maker now! I'm really looking forward to using it because... I love waffles! The Halloween lover in me can't wait to make some skull waffles that will be, specially perfect, in October.

A pink rug! I am in love! It is the softest and prettiest one! And, it matches perfectly with my sofa.

Some of you might have seen this one already cuz it arrived earlier because I didn't have one. My powerful T-fal blender!

Naruto goodies from one of my students! They know me too well. Sakura is a redhead here because he said it was me in Sakura version. The Team 7 pic has a letter on the back.

And there you have it guys, my obligatory bday pressies post. All in all, I had a great 4 day bday celebration. I'm very thankful for all the messages, hugs, pressies and just the love people showed me. I really am spoiled.
