☾ Sailor Moon Makeup Brushes

I know what you're thinking... More Sailor Moon?
Well, yeah! cuz I've been meaning to show you these babies for a while now.
I recieved this beauties back in February and I haven't had the heart to use them because I don't want to ruin them.

This might be a bit of a random post because it's not a review and even tho I know how to use some brushes, I am no expert at all.

The brushes came in a pastel pink and gold velvety pouch and the bigger ones came with a net to avoid them from damaging.

I did some research to list the brushes included in this set but, I might get some of them wrong so... excuse me if I do. Hehe.

According to me, this set comes with:
🌙 Powder brush
🌙 Blush brush
🌙 Foundation brush
🌙 Angle shadow brush
🌙 Crease brush
🌙 Medium blender brush
🌙 Large blender brush
🌙 Eyebrow Comb and brush

The brushes are metallic pink and gold with soft synthetic pink and white hair. SO PRETTY! Each of them has a Sailor Moon related item such as the Moon stick, brooches and the classic red bow.

Guess after sharing the brushes here, I'll start using some of them.

Silisponge: Pros and Cons + Silisponge VS Beauty Blender?

Hi dollies!

So, I've been meaning to write this post for the longest time now but, for whatever reason I never got to it until now. Two months ago (aprox) I got a silisponge. I've heard both, good and bad things about it so, I had to try it myself.

First, What is the silisponge?
Silisponge is a makeup applicator made out of silicone. Some people say it's the new beauty blender. It's designed to help you save a lot of product and make the application process a lot cleaner.
Thing is, because it is silicone, the sponge won't absorb any of the product and you'll use half of what you usually do.

Honestly, it reminds me of a boob implant~ hehe

How to use it?
Apply your foundation and then use the narrow part of the silisponge to spread the product. You can pat  the product or use circular motions until you blend it all over your face.
Once you're done blending, you can just wash it with some soap and water and it'll be clean again.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
♥ You do save a lot of product.
♥ It's super easy to clean
♥ There are different colors to choose from (Yes, in my opinion, it's a pro)
♥ It is cheaper than other tools

Cons
♥ The application gets messy
♥ It doesn't blend well
♥ It's hard to apply the product in small areas (such as around the nose and eyes)
♥ It feels funny on the skin. Lol.

Do I like it?
Honestly, I don't love it but, I don't hate it. I thought I'd have to use it for a longer time to let it kinda grow on me but, it never happened. I think it's good when you want to save up some product but I always end up using my Beauty Blender to fix a few things whenever I use the silisponge.
And that means, more work...! Plus, I've poked my eye with it a few times! (That's me being clumsy, I know)
I don't regret buying it, it's been an interesting experience but I don't really reach for it as much as I reach for my beauty blender so, Silisponge VS Beauty Blender? Beauty blender for sure!

But yeah, that is just my opinion, there are sooooo many tools and techniques to apply makeup and we choose what works best for us. It just didn't work for me. If you're curious, go ahead and try the silisponge! And if you do, let me know what you think!

Mini Haul: Etude House

Hello sweets!
Even though I thought October will be all about Halloween related posts, this is something I'm too excited about! Hehe.

I've been wanting to get some Etude House for a while now and I finally got the chance to buy some of their products. Not only because they are really, really cute, but also because I've heard and read so many good comments on their quality. I didn't bought any makeup this time but I'm anxious to try what I got. Yay!

♥ Etude House Wonder Pore Brush.

♥ Etude House Baby Doll Puff

♥ Etude House Skin Mal:Gem (Sample package) Includes a Smoother, Deep Moist, soft cotton sheets and clear cotton pads.

I might write about my experience with these in separate posts as I start using them.
I also got a few samples from SkinFood and Holika Holika!

And yeah, aside from the good quality and cuteness of Etude House's products, I'm also excited because F(x) Sulli and Krystal have been promoting some of their stuff, Sulli is one of my favorite members so I definitely will try some of the products she's wearing next time. Hehe.

XO♥
