Kimetsu No Yaiba Makeup Brushes + Inspired looks (Feat. my friend Diana)

I'm late but, this Summer my friends got me into watching Kimetsu no Yaiba season 1 and the movie. And I know why many people are obsessed with it. It is pretty good!

My friend Diana (who also happens to be the Ritsuko to my Misato) celebrated her birthday back in August 08th and since she's a big Kimetsu fan I gave her a set of Kimetsu No Yaiba makeup brushes. I wanted to give her something useful but still related to the show.

The set is pretty similar to the Sailor Moon Makeup Brushes one I recieved last year. This one came with 5 different brushes and a soft pouch.

The brushes have a nice rose gold color with synthetic white and pink hair. They are pretty soft tho.

Each brush has a chibi version of some of the main characters.

Now, my friend decided to create some everyday makeup looks inspired by the characters and she let me share them here to complement this blog post. So, here they are!

Kamado Tanjiro

Kamado Nezuko

Hashibira Inosuke

Sabito

Agatsume Zenitsu (her husbando and fav character)

From what she has told me, she's been really enjoying the brushes so, I'm happy. Hehe.
See you next time~ ♡

☾ Sailor Moon Makeup Brushes

I know what you're thinking... More Sailor Moon?
Well, yeah! cuz I've been meaning to show you these babies for a while now.
I recieved this beauties back in February and I haven't had the heart to use them because I don't want to ruin them.

This might be a bit of a random post because it's not a review and even tho I know how to use some brushes, I am no expert at all.

The brushes came in a pastel pink and gold velvety pouch and the bigger ones came with a net to avoid them from damaging.

I did some research to list the brushes included in this set but, I might get some of them wrong so... excuse me if I do. Hehe.

According to me, this set comes with:
🌙 Powder brush
🌙 Blush brush
🌙 Foundation brush
🌙 Angle shadow brush
🌙 Crease brush
🌙 Medium blender brush
🌙 Large blender brush
🌙 Eyebrow Comb and brush

The brushes are metallic pink and gold with soft synthetic pink and white hair. SO PRETTY! Each of them has a Sailor Moon related item such as the Moon stick, brooches and the classic red bow.

Guess after sharing the brushes here, I'll start using some of them.

Silisponge: Pros and Cons + Silisponge VS Beauty Blender?

Hi dollies!

So, I've been meaning to write this post for the longest time now but, for whatever reason I never got to it until now. Two months ago (aprox) I got a silisponge. I've heard both, good and bad things about it so, I had to try it myself.

First, What is the silisponge?
Silisponge is a makeup applicator made out of silicone. Some people say it's the new beauty blender. It's designed to help you save a lot of product and make the application process a lot cleaner.
Thing is, because it is silicone, the sponge won't absorb any of the product and you'll use half of what you usually do.

Honestly, it reminds me of a boob implant~ hehe

How to use it?
Apply your foundation and then use the narrow part of the silisponge to spread the product. You can pat  the product or use circular motions until you blend it all over your face.
Once you're done blending, you can just wash it with some soap and water and it'll be clean again.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
♥ You do save a lot of product.
♥ It's super easy to clean
♥ There are different colors to choose from (Yes, in my opinion, it's a pro)
♥ It is cheaper than other tools

Cons
♥ The application gets messy
♥ It doesn't blend well
♥ It's hard to apply the product in small areas (such as around the nose and eyes)
♥ It feels funny on the skin. Lol.

Do I like it?
Honestly, I don't love it but, I don't hate it. I thought I'd have to use it for a longer time to let it kinda grow on me but, it never happened. I think it's good when you want to save up some product but I always end up using my Beauty Blender to fix a few things whenever I use the silisponge.
And that means, more work...! Plus, I've poked my eye with it a few times! (That's me being clumsy, I know)
I don't regret buying it, it's been an interesting experience but I don't really reach for it as much as I reach for my beauty blender so, Silisponge VS Beauty Blender? Beauty blender for sure!

But yeah, that is just my opinion, there are sooooo many tools and techniques to apply makeup and we choose what works best for us. It just didn't work for me. If you're curious, go ahead and try the silisponge! And if you do, let me know what you think!
