Beauty of Joseon & Belskin Serums

I recently started using this serum from a brand I've never seen before: Belskin which is a Mexican company that makes beauty and personal care products. I ran out of one of my favorite serums so far and decided to give this one a chance and try it.

Speaking of my favorite one, I wasn't planning on making a dedicated post to it (dunno why) but since we're talking about serums, I thought it'd be worth mentioning it. It is the Beauty of Joseon Green Tea + Panthenol Calming Serum. My sister gave it to me back in July and I started loving it almost right away. It is very light and refreshing, good for all skin types. It has green tea leaves water and panthenol as its main ingredients. Apparently, green tea helps improve damaged skin, it also has vitamin C content and centella asiatica extract, which have soothing, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties. 

I can honestly say that my skin looked and felt better as soon as I started using this product. It was super soft, glowy and healthy. I only used it at night but I could still see the changes the next day after washing my face and doing the whole skincare routine. 

It was a small bottle with only 10ml but it lasted for a couple of months. It doesn't have a scent to it and it absorbs pretty fast on the skin. I'd defo recommend it and, of course, buy it again.

Now let's move to the one I'm currently using, I haven't used it for that long tho, I started this month. It is the Belskin's Collagen Facial Serum. It comes in a 30ml presentation and it's supposed to help with the signs of aging like  fine lines and sagging skin, leaving your skin looking firm youthful.

This one is slightly thicker, having almost a gel-like consistency and leaves a bit of a sticky feeling while it absobs. It doesn't have a scent to it. It has collagen and hyaluronic acid as main ingredients.

I've been using it twice a day, everyday and, even tho the results aren't as visible as with the other serum, I like it. My skin does look and feel healthy and hydrated. I remember they had another serum with different ingredients, maybe I'll try that one next time.

All in all, I like both products, the Belskin one is way cheaper than the Beauty of Joseon serum and I'd say the results are better but, the two of them can be good options depending on your budget. I might try other Belskin products in the future.

BIOAQUA Rose Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Toner

 After running out of the KJ Daily Basics toner I started using this Rose Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Toner from BIOAQUA my mom gave me. I'm already familiar with this brand and I can say it has worked well for me and my skin.

This toner claims to pour moisture into the skin, improve skin vitality, nourish and brighten it, and make it regain its glow by giving it intensive hydration and replenishing nutrition for a delicate and shiny looking skin. Among its ingredients we can find: Glycerin, propylene glycol, rose water and of course, hyalorunic acid.

It is very very lightweight, literally like water and it absorbs quickly. I like it because even tho it contains rose water, it doesn't really smell like it, which is good cuz it is not my favorite scent, hehe.This bottle comes with 100ml, it has a dispenser thingy that makes it easier to use without spilling the product everywhere. I have to add that the presentations is very clean and simple, yet pretty, which is something I always appreciate.

I've been using this product twice a day, in the morning and at night, and it defo has been doing a good job keeping my skin hydrated and moist, especially during these crazy cold days. 

I want to be a lot more constant with my skin care this year, even if I keep it simple cuz this girl isn't getting any younger, hehe~ I know I get lazy at times but, I'm doing a good job so far. 😘

BIOAQUA Rice Raw Pulp Eye Cream

 

I think I mentioned this before but, lately, I've been really into trying skincare products from different Chinese stores that keep opening here where I live. I was already familiar with BIOAQUA since I've tried some serums before and I especially like their rice based products.

So, today we have the BIOAQUA Rice Raw Pulp Eye Cream, which is the eye cream I'm currently wearing every night, and sometimes in the morning too. 

This 20g. cream contains rice water and bifida lysate ferment (whatever that is, hehe). It is soft, light and thin but still very creamy. It absorbs nicely and pretty fast, leaving your skin around the eye area soft and hydrated. It has a very suble clean scent I can't really describe but, it's nice!

It claims to protect the tender eye skin, provide extra moisture properties to keep hydration and apparently, it has a whitening effect on the dark circles.

I've been using this cream for a couple of months now and I have to say it is one of my favs so far! It really makes my eyes look and feel hydrated, even makeup looks nicer around the area. It's been great with dark circles and fine lines too. Plus, it's super affordable. I think I'm defo buying it again.

Vitamin E Facial Essence 💆🏻‍♀️

My grandma had a beautiful, healthy skin even when she was older. Something she used a lot on her skin was vitamin E. I remember she'd add some of the oil from the capsules to her night cream and apply it every night.

I tried using it many years ago, when I was younger and it didn't really work for me. It gave me some breakouts and I decided to stop using it until last year when my mom gave me some capsules. I gave them a chance again, loving the results this time.

The ones I'm currently using are called E Facial Essence. I got them from a Chinese store here in my city. I've been trying many chinese product lately and, honestly, they work well on my skin and they are very affordable. They had 3 or 4 different colors but, I chose the pink ones that are also for skin rejuvenation.

Each bottle comes with 90 capsules.

Vitamin E oil leaves skin looking smooth, bright and nourished, helping with dry skin. It's defo heavier than other products, that's why I only apply it at night. It has anti-oxidant properties and apparently, it can also protect your skin from sun damage.

It soothes irritated skin and helps lock moisture for a longer time. In a way, I feel like it also gives you a younger and healthier looking skin.

The oil is transparent and doesn't really have a strong scent to it. At first I thought it was going to smell like roses but, nope.

I try to apply it every 2 or 3 days, massaging my face and neck with a facial roller before my moisturizing and eye cream. Honestly, I keep my skincare super fast and simple lately but, it works! I do notice my skin feels and looks soft, healthy and glowy even the next day.

Axiu B5 Moisturizing Cream with Hyaluronic Acid

Spring is right around the corner and the weather has been sooo hooot! That's why it was time to change to a much lighter hydrating cream. My mom tried this cream before and really liked it so, she gave me one to try too. It's the Genesis Cosmetics Axiu B5 Moisturizing Cream with Hyaluronic Acid which claims to effectively repair skin cells, provide nutrients and clam your skin, reducing redness and irritation. Plus having anti-aging properties.

It is super lightweight and fresh, it absorbs super fast, leaving a nice and soft sensation on the skin. It is not sticky at all and it has a very nice and subtle citrus scent to it.

I've been using it twice a day, for a little over a month now and I'm very happy with it. It does give you a calming sensation after being out in the hot, plus it's gentle on my skin, which is super important cuz my skin tends to be very sensitive.

Even tho I haven't noticed much when it comes to the anti-aging part, I do see and feel my sking super soft, bright, healthy and hydrated. I'm very happy with it! 💙 

KJ Daily Basics | Toner with hyaluronic acid

 This year I kinda want to go back to sharing some beauty / makeup products I like, I mean, I don't buy them as much as I used to but, I do find some nice things every now and then. 

Today I'm gonna share a product that I've been using for a couple of months now from a brand my mom kinda recently discovered. The brand is called KJ Beauty, it's mexican beauty and skincare brand with a big variety of products including makeup, sunscreen and other skincare products and even some stuff to clean your brushes. They don't have a physical store but you can find their products in different stores and also online.

This KJ Daily Basics toner is the first product I've tried and it's been big help when it comes to keeping my skin hydrated during in this cold weather. It claims to oxygenate, hydrate and cleanse your skin, maintaining a deep hydration thanks to the properties of hyaluronic acid, it also repairs and fights against visible signs of aging in the skin.

I don't know if I've noticed something big when it comes to the anti-aging thing but, my skin feels good and looks healthy after using it. 

It's recommended to use twice a day, which I do, in the morning and at night. I spray it a couple of times after washing my face and gently pat the skin to help it absorb. After that I just apply my cream. I'm keeping my skincare super simple lately, I just don't have time to do much in the mornings~ But yeah, even my makeup has a nicer finish since I started using this product. I doesn't set on the fine lines as much as it did before.

It is meant for all skin types and has a very subtle but fresh herbal scent. At least that's what I think cuz my bestie says it smells fruity...😶

I kinda want to try more of their products, especially skincare. They have very affordable prices and quality seems to be good. I'll share more as I start trying~!!

An affordable treat for dry skin

This will be a very short post but, I really wanted to share this with you cuz it has helped my skin a lot during this cold weather. 

I'm not really new to this product but, it took me a while to write about it, it's the Teatrical cream with lanolin, which is also not a new product. This brand and product have been around for a while. I actually bought it as a last minute cream when I was about to run out of the one I was using before, I bought the smallest version and it was super affordable. 

This cream contains an added formula of beeswax and mineral oil, providing the skin with the moisture. This one contains lanolin but there's a pink version with rose water. I haven't tried that one cuz the smell is not my favorite.

I do have to say, this is a thick cream and I wouldn't recommend it if you have very oily skin. It absorbs nicely and quickly leaving your skin looking and feeling healthy and hydrated. The smell of it is like... how old creams smell? Idk if that makes sense.

The smallest presentation comes with 52g but they have bigger versions too. This small pot lasted for a long time, a little goes a long way.

POND'S Juice Collection | Fruity Hydra Fresh | 🍉

I've been wanting to try this cream for a while and now that the weather is getting warmer and my skin is less dry, it's the perfect time to try it.

The POND'S Juice Collection it's not a new one and has other products too, such as sheet masks and facial cleansing gel. The collection also comes with 3 different main ingredients: Orange, Aloe and the one I got, Watermelon. It's my favorite out of the 3.

I'm gonna start with the presentation, which is very simple and very... summer like! What caught my attention was the fact that the box and the pot are 100% recyclable. The pink por is actually plastic. 

This product claims to tone and give you a bright skin. It contains watermelon extract which means it has water, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It doesn't contain any alcohol.

It has a gel like texture so it is very light and not greasy at all. It absorbs quickly, leaving your skin super soft and bright. 

The smell is also very light and fresh, slighty sweet. I'm not sure it smells like watermelon tho. But, I really like it. Plus, it fades as it absorbs which is nice if you're not a big fan of strong scents in your products.

I'm only using it as a morning cream because I'm still trying to finish a thicker one I have and used during the cold winter but, I really like it so far.

I might try some of their other products. I feel like POND'S is a trustworthy drugstore brand so, yeah.

IMAGES Moisturizing Hydra Soft Smooth Eye Cream

 

Today I have another skincare product to share that is also part of my skincare routine. It is the MeiYanQiong IMAGES Moisturizing Hydra Soft Smooth Eye Cream (this names keep getting longer and longer!).

It contains snail extract that brightens, moisturizes and nourished the skin and claims to be anti-puffiness, , to help fade dark circles and tighten the eye area. 

It contains 20g of product, which is pretty good cuz you don't really need to apply a lot.

The cream is very light and a little watery, it absorbs nicely leaving the area feeling soft, hydrated and fresh(?). It has a very subtle, clean cream scent. Dunno how to explain, like those old, classic creams.

I try to use it twice a day (morning and night) but I admit sometimes I only apply it at night, depends on how much time I have in the mornings. Guess you can see better results if you apply it in the mornings constantly too.

My eye area is very delicate and have dark cicles too. I haven't really seen any big difference on the dark circles but it does help with the fine lines, and since the area feels hydrated for a long time, my makeup doesn't set into the lines. I also like the fact that it didn't irritate my skin or gave me a reaction cuz, it happens a lot.

Natural Care Cosmetic Series ☾ Moon Collection

Long time no Sailor Moon post! 

Not long ago, I found these sheet masks in the most unexpected store downtown. I was surprised and excited and, of course, I had to get all of them! (At least the ones they had).

They are called "Moon Collection" and they are obviously inspired by Sailor Moon, I remember they also had a "Princess Collection" that, if I remember correctly, was inspired by Disney Princesses.

These were all the SM inspired masks they had, it was weird not to see a Sailor Moon or even Luna mask tho.

I couldn't find much about the brand online. Apparently these masks are designed in Korean and made in China. Idk. They have many more cute sheet masks tho.

The presentation is kinda cute even if the Scouts look a bitsy bit funny. The Artemis, brooch and Moon stick ones have to be my favs, they are really pretty.

All of the masks have a different purpose and ingredients so, let's check them out!

The transformation brooch mask is a hydrating mask with vitamins A (formation and regeneration of cells, repairs damaged cells and improves the condition and appearance of the skin.), B1 (provides hydration and protection against external agents. Plus, it stimulates cell renewal, improving healing capacity.) and B3 (reduces congestion, brightens skin, and gives you a more even tone. also helps repair and restore skin by minimizing water loss. It's also known for leaving skin soft and smooth). 

Sailor Mercury's is a detox mask.

Sailor Mars' is for a glowing effect with vitamins A (formation and regeneration of cells, repairs damaged cells and improves the condition and appearance of the skin.), B (Anti-aging, reduces water loss and moisturizes skin) and E (antioxidant, prevents skin damage and  controls skin aging).

Sailor Jupiter's is an anti-acne mask with antioxidants and vitamins B6 (preventive function, it is involved in the long-term regulation of oily and sensitive skin) and E (antioxidant, prevents skin damage and  controls skin aging).).

Sailor Venus' is a purifying mask with biotin and vitamins ZN (has anti-inflammatory properties) and B7 (prevents skin problems such as dermatitis, it can regenerate tissues. Promotes elasticity and hydration).

Cute Artemis' is a nutrition mask with vitamins A(formation and regeneration of cells, repairs damaged cells and improves the condition and appearance of the skin.) and B9 (essential in the process of cell renewal, reinforcing the density of the skin. Helps skin to look young and healthy).

The Moon Stick is a collagen mask

Since I bought many masks, I gave some away to my friends (I gave them their fav Scout) and my mom. 

The masks I've tried don't have a scent at all, they do come soaked in product which is very watery and non-sticky.

I was a little worried I would get a reaction after trying them (mostly because they were suuuuuuuuuuper cheap) but, I didn't! They actually worked well. Not the best masks out there but they did the job. My skin felt soft after using them but not super hydrated. 

I didn't have high expectations with them so, I'm not dissapointed. It was fun to get them and give some to other people. I might buy more in the future just because they are cute! Hehe.

BIOAQUA Blueberry Beauty Extract Serum

Let's talk about the serum I'm currently using, the BIOAQUA Blueberry Beauty Extract. Mom gave it to me a while ago and it's been part of my night routine ever since. You can use it in the mornings too tho.

It is not my first time using BIOAQUA products, my bestie gave me a rice serum before this one and I really liked it, I just forgot to blog about it for some reason. 

This serum comes with 15ml of product in a cute blue bottle and a dropper which makes it easier to control the amount of product you use and somewhat cleaner too.

It has a blueberry essence anti-wrinkle serum, which helps rejuvenate, soften and firm the skin. The blueberry nutrients help the skin to absorb moisture and nutrition. The antioxidants help fade fine lines, open pores and moisturize it.

It claims to make your skin "moist and clear" as well as "rosy, shiny, deliacte and tender"

The serum is transparent and watery with a slight oily texture. It doesn't have any scent to it and it absorbs quickly.

After applying it I do feel my skin a little more firm and tighter. And I wake up to a very soft and glowy skin the next morning. 

I guess you can get better results if you apply the product day and night, I might try to do that whenever I have enough time to have a longer skincare routine in the mornings. 

My experience with the products from this brand have been good so far, I'd defo purchase it again once I run out of product. Plus, they are very affordable.
