The Husbando Tag!

It's Valentine's Day! We'll be seeing couple pics and people talking about their partners everywhere. I don't have a significant other but I do have a long list of husbandos and... sake! My true loves, LOLOL.

I know how forever alone that sounds... #SorryNotSorry. I found this tag a while ago and thought it'd be fun to share this it today.

The idea is to choose one waifu or husbando (which is hard having a long list) and answer 6 questions. So, let's do this!

It was hard to choose but... I'm choosing a not-so- popular one, just because I didn't want to go for a character everyone knows and cuz I do believe this anime deserves more attention than it gets.

Who is your waifu or husbando? Military freak: Sagara Sousuke

Where is he from? Full Metal Panic!

Why do you love him? Because he's so weird and frustrating but strong and kinda cute at the same time. Sometimes you wanna slap him, but others you just wanna hug him.

When is his birthday? July 07th

Do you own any merch of him? Not really~ Since FMP it's not a very popular anime, it's hard to find merch, and the one available is too expensive! I do have the series on DVD and a Kaname figurine tho. But nothing Sousuke related yet.

Who is your number 2 guy? I don't know if there are number ones or twos here cuz my obsession with them kinda changes every now and then. But I'm gonna go for a popular one here: Uchiha Sasuke!

There you have it! My husbando tag. Feel free to answer these questions about your husbandos & waifus if you feel like it. This was a short tag but I believe there are 2 others that are a little longer. Let me know if you'd like me to answer them too in the future.

Oh yeah, Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy it with your fav person, pet or... drink! 😉♡

💕 Valie's Day 2017 + Pressies 💕

Hello lovelies!
I know Valentine's Day is pretty much over but, it's not too late to post this, right? I've been meaning to put this post together but...I had no time! So, here it is, even if it's a little late!

Since Valentine's day was on Tuesday, I wasn't planning to do much besides work. We always have a little celebration there with the kids. We also had a little guft exchange between teachers so, it was a good day in general.
After work, my friend and coworker Vero invited us over to her house to have a drink and celebrate. So, even tho it was a busy day, we had our little celebration.
I remember how I used to rave about Valentine's Day before but this year, I wasn't too worried aout having a plan or not and, I wasn't all crazy buying gifts and planning stuff. Things just happened in an unexpected way, and it was good that way.
Then I had a movie date with my friends as our way to celebrate Valie's Day. We went to watch the always sexy Mr. Grey in 50 Shades Darker. (good movie btw! A lot better than the first one!)
And last weekend I met my girls for lunch, coffee and another gift exchange!

I still believe Valentine's Day is not only about celebrating with a partner. It's also celebrating with friends, family, pets...even with yourself! It's sad to see how some people feel pressure on having boyfriend/girlfriend for this date. In the end...it's just an other day!
The most important thig is to spend it with the ones you love and try to show them your love everyday, not just on this day.

Now, let's move on to the pressies!(NOTE: Some of the candies couldn't make it to this post...they are already in my tummy~)
Beauty stuff such as facemasks and cleansing wipes and makeup

Because a girl can never have too many nail polishes, these babies are now joining the polish family, along with other nail goodies!
Makeup brushes!
cute accessories

the yummies that are left~~~

different cute goodies!

my new friend Leah! (one of my students gave it to me)

cute glass filled with marshmallows

As you know, I'll probably make separate posts as I use some of this things

Thank you to all the people who took the time to sent me a message or took a moment to spend with me on these date. I am surrounded by love, and I see it now more than ever. Also for those who gave me all those lovely gifts and notes. I love you all. ♥

Valie's Day: The Red String of Fate ♥

Hi lovers!
Today is Valentine's day! And I wish you all a happy and lovely day. Remember to celebrate love everyday!

So today I wanted to share with you guys a very cute legend about love, fate, destiny~ Some of you may already know it but I just love it so much and today is a perfect day to share it.

The Red String of Fate.

There are two versions of this legend, the Chinese legend and the Japanese legend. According to the Chinese version, the gods tie a red cord around the ankles of those that are to meet one another, the deity in charge of "the red thread" is believed to be 月下老 (Yuè Xià Lǎo) the old lunar matchmaker god who is also in charge of marriages. And, in Japanese culture, it is thought to be tied around the little finger.
The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.
Chinese story featuring the red string of fate involves a boy. Walking home one night, he sees an old man standing beneath the moonlight (Yuè Xià Lǎo). The man explains to the boy that he is attached to his destined wife by a red thread. Yuè Xià Lǎo shows the boy the young girl who is destined to be his wife. Being young and having no interest in having a wife, the young boy picks up a rock and throws it at the girl, running away. Many years later, when the boy has grown into a young man, his parents arrange a wedding for him. On the night of his wedding, his wife waits for him in their bedroom, with the traditional veil covering her face. Raising it, the man is delighted to find that his wife is one of the great beauties of his village. However, she wears an adornment on her eyebrow. He asks her why she wears it and she responds that when she was a young girl, a boy threw a rock at her that struck her, leaving a scar on her eyebrow. She self-consciously wears the adornment to cover it up. The woman is, in fact, the same young girl connected to the man by the red thread shown to him by Yuè Xià Lǎo back in his childhood, showing that they were connected by the red string of fate.

I really believe there's something like the "red string of fate" making that strong bond between two people. I really do! There's someone meant for us all somewhere, and we'll find them eventually. It's magical connection!
Happy Valie's day babies! ♥

Romantic pink

While taking some pics for Valentine's Day posts, I decided to create an All-in-pink makeup for Valentine's Day.

With my eyes I decided to use a soft pink as a base and then add some hot pink eye shadow from the middle of the eye, to the rest of it. Then added some eye liner and mascara.

I don't usually wear pink on my cheeks but since this time it was All-in-pink, I used a hot pink blush powder.

Finally, Lips! Lips have a with a shiny pearlish hot pink.

On my face:
♥ Base powder: 004 Sandstorm by Rimmel London (one of my fave makeup brands)
♥ Eyes: 30 cuarteto by Bissú professional (hot pink), Pink avenue princess by Beauty control 12499 (soft pink, this one I got as a gift so, I don't really know where to find it but it's a lovely color), Eye liner P601 Black by L.A. Colors, Mascara Volum´Express by Maybelline New York (I always go for water proof)
♥ Cheeks: 32 rose silk by Jordana
♥ Lips: 570 Mauvelicious by Cover Girl

Hope you guys like this makeup idea for Valentine's Day :)

Oh my...love ♥

February is the month of love~ I gotta say I'm excited to go out and see all the cute Valentine's day stuff they have in stores now! I can't wait to start planning and putting together some gifts for my friends and family. Last year we had a V's day picnic with food and decorated cakes. I decided to make some heart shaped french toasts for breakfast and fill up some valentine's buckets with themed candies and stuff such as friendship/love awards, teddy bears, notes, etc.

I still have a lot of thinking to do for this year but, here are some pics of what we did last year, I'll post some more as soon as I find the CD where those pics are.

I'll share some ideas to celebrate V's day soon!

Big love! XX
