Mask Monday: Fresh To Go Pumpkin Mask Sheet

It's spooky season so I thought this mask would be perfect! I randomly found it a while ago and wanted to save it for October, then I realized this was an exact copy of the TonyMoly Fresh to go masks~ Oh well.

I find the presentation really cute and Fall like, the mask came soaked in the product but sadly, it didn't have any scent. I was reaaally looking forward to that.

It may not have the same quality as a ToyMoly mask but, it worked just fine. It hydrated my skin and left it glowy and soft.

It had been a while since I last had the chance to use a facemask to have a little relaxing break so, I was happy with it, especially for the price I paid, heehee.

Mask Monday: LuLuLun Refreshing White Sheet Mask

After using LuLuLun facemasks, I can see why it is on of the most popular facemasks in Japan. Today we have the white sheet masks which are for a clear and translucent skin. Again, it is a 7 day pack so, you can use it everyday for a glowy and healthy look.

It contains Elderflower extract which is rich in vitamins, to give your skin a firm texture. The formula is very watery, not sticky at all and has a very subltle, fresh scent. Just like the others I've tried.

I don't wear then everyday everyday tho, it's more like every 2 days, at night. I do see a difference on my skin when I use them constantly, it looks healthier and more hydrated even on the next day. The quality of these masks (including the other 2 I've used) is really, really good.

I've mentioned this with my bestie before because we like to try different types and brands of face masks with different price ranges; it does make a difference when you use higher quality products.

I didn't change my skincare at all and they worked really well together.

I want to thank my friend Tomi again for introducing me and giving me the chance to try these masks. I'm in love now!

I'll defo try to find and buy more LuLuLun products in the future.

I'll link the other 2 LuLuLun masks here in case you wanna check them out. They are all really, really cute!

Mask Monday: LuLuLun Hydrating Blue Face Mask

Today we have more Japanese sheet masks from LULULUN!

This time is the LULULUN Hydrating Blue Face Mask. It also came in a pack of 7 masks, perfect for a week worth of masks. It is made for daily use and what I like about the packaging is that you can seal it after each use to keep the product clean and soaked in product.

As the previous LULULUN masks I tried, they come with a lot of serum and a sublte scent. The formula is very watery and not sticky at all.

It is meant for intensive hydrating care, containing cactus extract to calm sensitive, dry and damaged skin. It also contains isomerized sugar, which helps to maintain the skin's moisture balance. I think it's great for all skin types.

I didn't use them every day, it was more like 3 times a week but, my skin felt so soft and hydrated and looked glowy after using them.

I think I keep mentioning this but, I find the size of these masks more suitable for my face. Other brands tend to make them much bigger. They are also made with 3 layers: the one in the middle holds the essence, and the other two distribute it into the skin.

If you want to check the other LULULUN face masks I've tried, make sure to click here!!

Mask Monday: DERMAL Collagen Essence Mask

"Skin confidence with DERMAL makes you beautiful and healthy"

These masks were the first ones I tried when I was starting to get into the whole K-beauty world. They have a special place in my heart, hehe.

I believe there are older posts where I mention them but, yeah. I was pretty much talking about how to use sheet masks...

Dermal is a Korean brand that focuses on facemasks and skincare products using "effective and safe" ingredients to help balance the ph and improve your skin.
Even tho they are Korean, each mask has the mask target in english, making it easy for you to choose, depending on what you're looking for or what your skin needs. They have a large variety! I've tried some of them but, defo not all.

What I like the most about them is that they are made for all skin types and are gentle to my super sensitive skin. They never give me any reaction! And my skin looks and feels extra hydrated after using them.

Today, I'm only going to focus on the 3 I currently have:

Green Tea Collagen Mask: (Firming, moisturizing and health)
It helps to protect the skin. Green Tea extract works as an anti-oxidant and helps to protect skin from environmental damage. It leaves your skin feeling soft, refreshed, hydrated and healthy looking.

Apricot Collagen Mask: (Moisturizing, firming and brightening)
Apricot Extract is good for sensitive, dry and irritated skin. It contains vitamin A & C. It gives you hydration and keeps the skin moist and elastic.

Bamboo Collagen Mask: (Moisturizing, refining and firming)
Bamboo extract protects the skin and gives dry skin the moisture it needs. This mask also contains vitamin E and collagen.

They are all super moisturizing, the formula is not sticky at all and they scent is very subtle. To me they all smell the same tho~~~ Idk, maybe it's just me.
I think I've mentioned it before but, most Korean sheet masks tend to be super big! Dunno why! But still, they do the job.

Mask Monday: LULULUN Balance Moisture Face Mask

Hello dollies! Today we have Japanese facemasks from LULULUN. It is my first time trying them and it is one of the 3 packages I recieve from this brand. Apparently these are one of the best-selling masks in Japan and yeah, I've read and seen many good comments about them. I'm happy to finally try them.

The LULULUN Balance Moisture Face Mask comes in pack of 7 sheet masks, perfect for a week worth of masks. I just love it when they sell them like this. Plus, the presentation is super cute.

This one claims to nourish dry skin, balancing moisture levels and apparenty, each package contains the equivalent of 4 bottles of serum with ingredients like: Hyaluronic Acid, acacia honey, rice ceramide and gingseng root.

It is free from artificial colors and mineral oils. They have a very subtle scent and the formula is not sticky at all, which is really nice. It absorbs really fast leaving my skin soft, hydrated and with a healthy glow.

Something I've noticed is that Japanese sheet masks are smaller than the Korean ones which makes them a lot easier and more comfortable to use.

I've been really liking these masks and I can't wait to try the others!

Mask Monday: Freeman Pore Cleansing Strawberry + Mint Sheet Mask

Starwberry mojito! haha.

Welcome to another mask monday!
Today we have another Freeman mask but this time, it is a sheet mask. Sheet masks are my favorites and I do believe using then frequently can help you improve your skin. I've noticed a big change after doing it.

This maks is described as: "Say hello to clear pores and get camera ready with this facial sheet mask with serum. Juicy Strawberry helps to cleanse pores, while a burst of Mint helps to control oil and reveal a fresh, clear complexion. Perfect for normal to combination skin."
It claims to instantly clarifies pores and refresh for a clear complexion. Including strawberry to cleanse pores and mint to control oil and refresh the skin.

The serum of this product was very milky like, almost creamy; leaving your skin with a nice, soft feel to it. It has a thick texture and a nice strawberry scent but, I was expecting to smell or feel the mint and... it never happened.

Leatherface time! LOL. These masks are usually
way to big!

I could see how my skin looked and felt clear and bright after using it and on the next day.

They have different sheet masks for different types of skin and I defo think they are worth trying.

Mask Monday: Yes To Grapefruit Unicorn Peel-Off Mask

I love facemasks! I do believe using them frequently can improve the way your skin looks and feels.
I've tried many different masks, from fancy to really cheap ones. Some of them are good enough to mention and others are just... bleh. So I decided to start sharing some of them every now and then and have Mask Mondays. 🌟 Hehe.

I'm gonna start with this Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Unicorn Peel-Off Mask not only because it is super cute but, because it also does the job.

no makeup face, ready for the mask!

Deets:
"Yes to making your skin care fantasies reality with Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Unicorn Peel-Off Mask it has glow-boosting skin care benefits combined with selfie appeal! Formulated with grapefruit to help visibly brighten and even skin tone, the fun, iridescent pink formula dries quickly and peels off to reveal glowing, naturally more radiant and smooth skin."

I haven't used many masks from "Yes To" but my experience with them has been good so far.
As far as I know most of the products from this brand use many natural ingredients. This one in particular claims to have 96% natural ingredients including: Grapefruit and Vitamin C.

The whole concept is iridecent and fun, from the package to the mask itself which has this pretty pearlish white color with a hint of pink.

It does have a strong, natural grapefruit scent so, you gotta keep that in mind if you don't like scented products.
Like most peel off masks, the formula is super thick and kinda sticky so I suggest using a spatula to apply it. You have to leave it on for 8 to 10 minutes and once it's completely dry, you peel.
Peeling is one of my favorite parts of using peel off masks, its very satisfying.
It comes off easily, removing all the dirt on your skin. You do have to rinse to get rid of the mask leftovers.

After using this mask, my skin felt really smooth but I didn't notice anything else until the next day. I woke up to a very healthy looking, smooth and bright skin.

This was meant to be for just one appliction but it lasted me for two. I didn't apply super thick layers but I made sure to cover my whole face.

I saw there is a bigger version of this Unicorn mask and I'm kinda tempted to buy it.

Daiso Hatomugi Face Masks

Everytime I watch Daiso / daiso haul videos, I know it'd be a place for me to go crazy with my shopping. Especially because I've heard so many good reviews about their products which are, surprisingly good, for a cheap price.

If you don't know what Daiso is, it is a Japanese 100¥ store kind of thing where you can find pretty much anything you need or didn't know you needed... hehehe.

Sadly, I didn't go to Daiso. But I did get the chance to try their hatomugi face masks. The package I got came with 5 sheet masks in a resealable bag. The 5 of them in one bag! (yeah, it's the first time I see something like this). I think it's really cool, especially for those who travel.

To be honest, I've never heard of hatomugi before buying these facemasks and I had no idea what it was so, I did my research, haha.
Hatomugi are job's tears, which still, I wasn't familar with. Long story short, it is kind of an Asian grass/grain that is tear shaped. Hence the name.
I might be wrong tho...

Apparenty, these masks are great for skin hydration and reducing inflammation. They don't really have a scent, and if they do, it's very, very subtle. They all come nicely folded and super soaked in the product, which is not sticky and absorbs quickly.
Something I also liked is the fact that they are not super big!

leather face Mon!

I've tried different kinds of sheet masks, from really cheap ones to better quality ones and I can say that even tho these are not the best ones ever, they do the job leaving my sking looking and feeling hydrated and glowy.
I'm super curious to try other beauty products from Daiso in the future. For now, I'll defo buy these again if I get the chance.

Lassie'el Aloe Soothing Yogurt Massage Mask

Hi guys~! Remember me? haha.
I know I have been really MIA around here. Truth is, my blogging muse was taking a break. Not sure if it's completely back tho.
Anyways, I'm finally putting this post together and it was something I wanted to share with you for a couple of months now.

We all know how much I love a good Korean facemask, especially if it has aloe in it! The latest ones I've been trying have been from Lassie'el.

This is the Lassie'el Aloe Soothing Yogurt Massage Mask. The box came with 4 small separate packages of 12g and a small lid to cover the package you're using at the time. Which comes in very handy cuz each package lasts for over 4 applications so, yeah, it'a good way to keep the mask fresh and clean.

This mask contains Vitamin E -acetate, Aloe Extract, Olive Oil and Yogurt extract.
It claims to make it easier to lift your chin and cheeks, giving you a soothing and refreshing feeling to a dry and tired skin. You'll see the desire effect using it 2-3 times a week.
It is a:
* Wash off mask
* Softening and Refreshing

How to use:
Cleanse and dry face, apply facemask and massage evenly. After 5-10 minutes, rinse with warm water.

The smell of it is just SO GOOD! So fresh and it reminds me of those super yummy aloe waters I love. As you open the pouch you find this gel-ish type cream with a very nice light green color.

I've been using this mask for over a month now and even tho I don't see much of a lifting effect, I do feel and see a much softer and brighter skin after using it. I try to use it at least twice a week after exfoliating my skin.

What I like about it:
* The lid!! I love the fact that it comes with a lid! Brilliant idea! They look like mini tuppers!
* The smell!!
* How soft my skin feels after using it.
* The price was great, especially because each pouch lasts for more than one application.

What could be better:
I don't see any lifting effect.

I would definitely buy more of these again! I still have other Lassie'el products I want to try!

Hope to be back soon!
xx

~*My skin after using Korean sheet masks*~

Hello dollies!
In older posts I mentioned how I've been loving Korean face mask sheets as a treat on relaxing times but recently I started using them regularly and I've seen a great difference on my skin.

A while ago I saw on a beauty show that AfterSchool JungAh's secret for a beautiful and healthy skin was using this type of masks (not these brands in particular) everyday so, I thought I should give it a try.
The masks I've been using are from two different brands: The Cure and Dermal. Those two are gentle to my sensitive skin and have a very subtle smell.

There are a few differences between the two of them. Dermal masks are slightly bigger, (both are too big for my face though) they are also a little drier while The Cure ones are soaked in serum. After using The Cure ones my skin feels a little more oily(?) not in a bad way~ I don't know how to explain exactly. Hehe. But as the day goes by I see good results from both brands.

I don't use them everyday but 3 times a week usually at night when I have some free time to relax and let the product work all night.

How to use:
1. Cleanse throughly and dry your face.
2. Remove the pre-soaked mask from the packet.
3. Gently unfold the mask and apply lightly on your face using your fingertips.
4. Relax for 20~30 mins.
5. Lift off the mask and gently pat remaining serum into skin.

My skin definitely feels softer and looks brighter and healthier. I know this "routine" can be a little pricey if you plan to follow it regularly but it's worth it! It's been only a few weeks since I started and I'm happy with the results.

I'd love to try some other DERMAL products someday~

A treat for my face~

I love having some time for myself and the chance to give my skin a needed treat. I bought a few Korean face masks a while ago and I've been trying not to use them all at once because you know...I kinda want to make them last until the next time I buy more. I've been loving face masks lately!

Most of the masks I got are from The Cure and one from DERMAL but I haven't tried the Dermal one. I think it's a brightening mask.

I first tried The Cure masks with my girls (they also bought a few) on this kind of girlie day we had. You know, cupcakes, masks and horror stories. We were all happy with how soft and bright our skin was after using them. We all tried different ones, mine was...green tea, but they got pearl, collagen and others.

The smell of these masks is kinda fresh and not too strong. I thought they would have different smells depending on what the mask is made of but, no. They all smell the same to me. They are kind to my sensitive skin, and work pretty well.

How to use them:
(straight from the back of the package hehe)

5 easy steps to a bright and soft skin.

This is how the masks look once you unfold it. They are soaked with a lot of product so I wonder if they can be used twice...? Haven't tried though.

Bad thing is, they are too big for my face.

How scary / funny do I look?!

Time to relax! I usually leave them for like 35 minutes and I like to watch some shows while letting them work.

And after those 35 mins... A fresh face!
Yay!
I was checking some other DERMAL products and kinda anxious to check them out! For more info here's the link ---> www.dermalmask.com
