🛒 Walmart Finds | June / July / August 2024 |

It's time for another (short) Walmart finds post. This one should be called "Snacks and desserts" edition, hehe.

Let's start!

Popcornopolis Pop Chilix Sandia are these fun spicy watermelon popcorn. They are super red and delish! You guys know I love trying new things and interesting flavors that might not be everyone's cup of tea but, I've been really loving them. They taste like slightly spicy watermelon gummies but, with the popcorn texture. Idk, eating them is a fun experience. So far, they only have a 90g presentation but it'd be cool to see them in a bigger version.

Oreo Celebra Chocolate con Cajeta Quemada. These were part of a 2 or 3 flavor special edition cookies that "celebrates" mexican flavors (I think). I got the burnt caramel because I didn't love the others that much, plus I love the whole pink box and presentation, hehe. I love Oreo in general so I just knew I had to try them. The box came with 4 packages with 6 cookies each. They were good, nothing too out of the ordinary but, good. I was expecting the cajeta flavor to be stronger tho.

Nissin Ramen Asia. Instant noodles are an essential in my house, hehe and lately, I've been loving these from Nissin. The Ramen Asia instant noodles come in 2 different flavors: Spicy seafood and spicy sesame. I've tried both and they are SO GOOD! Defo have an extra something you don't get with the other normal instant noodles. They taste more... natural to me? Idk how to explain. I couldn't take a pic of the seafood one cuz it's been out of stock in my closest Walmart.

I'm kinda late sharing these cuz I don't think they are in stores anymore since they were special edition but, I randomly found these two jelly flavors I found interesting: Banana Split and Lemon float. They were inspired by Grease which is one of my fav all time movies and I think there was a play in my country a while ago. Maybe that's why they came out with them. The banana split one was milk based while the lemon float was water based. Both were really good and I wish they kept them as regular flavors.

Sabritas Kacang Cheetos. These are peanuts but cheetos flavor. I got the 60g bag to try them but, there's a bigger version. They are good, and I think the idea is cool but, I wish the cheetos flavor was stronger. They were kinda sweet in a way~ Still, I think I'd buy them again.

And, that is that you guys. I feel like I haven't bought anything out of the ordinary, that's why this post is kinda short. Anyway, let me know if you have tried some of these or if you'd like to. Also, feel free to let me know if there's something fun or different I could try to find next time.

🛒 Walmart Finds | March / April / May 2024 |

Picture has absolutely nothing to do with the actual post but, the flowers are cute, hehe,

It took me longer than planned but here we are with some Walmart finds. This time it is only food and it won't be a very long post so, let's get into it.

Nestle came out with some new ice cream flavors and, even tho I haven't tried them all, I did try the brownie one and, it is so good! I love brownies and this one, didn't disappoint me. It is very creamy and has bits of almonds and brownie. Some of the other flavors I remember are: berries, vanilla-strawberry and triple chocolate.

I couldn't resist when I saw this unicorn pasta by La Moderna kids (lol). It has vitamins and iron. They use natural dyes including turmeric, beet, carrot and grape extract. Honestly, the taste is nothing out of the ordinary but the color combination is so cute! I can make any dish look pretty.

I really like Tajin so, this was a must try! Mission Tostadas Tajin are basically normal tortilla toasts covered in Tajin. I loved eating them with certain dishes or just alone as a snack, hehe. As if they were chips. Idk if this would be everyone's cup of tea but, it's defo an interesting combo.

Oreo Chopeo Espacial are regular Oreo but with space designs and blue filling. For some reason, they were a little more expensive than other Oreos. Still wanted to try them, just for the experience. They are limited edition so, idk for how long they'll be around.

Designs were cute and, they matched my nails! Haha

Great Value chips are a little more affordable than other brands and they are pretty good. The Salsa Verde Chips are kinda new and they are my fav chips atm. There's something about the flavor that takes me back to my childhood cuz it reminds me of a green sauce our nanny used to make. They are really good! They have the big version to share or, smaller individual bags.

And that is it for this post guys, feel free to let me know if you've tried some of these or, if you'd like to.

See you next time~! ♡

🛒 Walmart Finds | January - February 2024 |

After a couple of months, we are back with a collective Walmart finds post. Today I'll share some of the things I loved during January and February.

This time I have mostly food and a house related thing. Let's start with the food~

This soy bacon from Great Value was something I randomly found and decided to get because well, even tho I never buy soy stuff, I love bacon and thought it'd be great to sprinkle on different dishes. This product comes with 80g in a ziplock bag, which is great to keep it fresh. It is crunchy, savory and it does give the feeling you're eating bacon. I like to sprinkle them on pasta, mashed potatoes and egg. It's great and has a very affordable price.

Chachitos is this very old, super cheap wheat cereal that has a very special place in my heart cuz we used to love them as a snack during my childhood in my grandparents' house. So, eating them brings back good memories. I'm including them here because I always had the vanilla and chocolate ones but didn't know there was a strawberry version too. Surprisingly, they are not pink! But the strawberry flavor is there. It's like... as if you were eating chachitos with strawberry milk.

Sriracha is a very popular hot sauce made from a paste of chili peppers, distilled vinegar, pickled garlic, sugar, and salt. I knew it existed but didn't think I'd love it as much as I do now. I was always a Valentina sauce type of girl but now, I am obsessed and I can't go back. It is spicy tho, so I don't add much but I love it with pretty much everything!

I loooove Morimoto gummies and when I saw this 2 new flavors on their instagram page, I knew I had to try them. I was super excited when I found them and, of course, got them. I was mostly excited about the matcha ones but, I ended up liking the yogurt gummies a lot more. Don't get me wrong, both are really good but, it was an unexpected surprise.

Thanks to my mom and sister, I discovered this Sangría Don Simón and, I've been addicted to it ever since. This 1L. presentation has 7% alcohol and the perfect sweetness. At least to me. I like it because it's delish, convenient and super affordable. I haven't tried it like this but, I'd like to add some frozen (or normal) fruits to it.
Even tho this is a product from Spain, I just loved how it had the information in Japanese too. You know, I'm obsessed hehe.

Moving on to house goodies~

I bought these floating shelved from Home Creations. I got similar ones for my living room months ago, but in white. This time I got brown ones, simulating wood. They are very light and, I love them cuz they come with everything you need, making the installation super easy. It came with 3 shelves, same lenght just different width. I used 2 for my dining room and one for my kitchen.

And there you go guys, some of my fav finds. I'll keep this as a monthly / 2 months kind of thing, depending on how many things I find and like.
Anyway, let me know if you have or will try one of these and if you liked them!

See you next time~! ♡

🛒 Walmart Finds | September 2023 |

It's time to say goodbye September with another Walmart finds post. I think this is the shortest so far cuz, I didn't really bought many new or interesting things this month~

Still, let's take a look.

To continue with the Barbie The Movie stuff, I got this cereal box. Same as the other products, it is by Great Value. They have this cereal all year long, they just changed the presentation. They are fruity rings, pretty similar to Froot Loops. It only comes in one size with 470 g. The special edition box is bright pink with a "Barbie land" print on the background. I know, nothing too special but, I kinda wanted to get it. Plus, the cereal is good so, yeah.

Last time I showed you the Honey Lemon Lemon-dou, this time I bought the Signature Lemon one which has 5.3% Alcohol. This one was less sweet than the honey lemon but also very refreshing. It's very lemoney and, even tho I'm not a big fan od lemon soda or lemon based drinks in general, I enjoyed it. Especially having it with some snacks after a long, tiring day. I haven't been able to find the other flavors they have but, I still wanna try!

Now I wanna move on to a house thingy I got.

I saw this MDF shelves a while ago and really wanted to get them, they were really cheap and now that I have a drill, I knew I had to get them, hehe. They are by Home Creations and they come in a set of 3. I choose this particular style cuz they were white but, they also had black and brown shelves and other designs too. They came with everything I needed to hang them.

I decided to put random things on them to see how they'd look. They are in my living room, above my sofa. I think they were a great option to decorate that plain wall. Now I want to get more in different colors, hehe.

Lastly, I wanna show you some cuties I got from Prichos:

I'm putting a bday pressie for the furry niece, who's truning 2. And I loved these ice-cream and popsicle plastic toys cuz you know... I love these yummies so, I had to get them for her. They are just too cute! I got her other toys too but these were my favorties. Prichos always has the cutest and funniest pet stuff and they even bring seasonal toys.

And that is it for now you guys, I know it wasn't all that exciting this time, but I still wanted to share the couple of things i thought were worth sharing.

See you next time~! ♡

🛒 Walmart Finds | August 2023 |

Guys, it's time for another Walmart finds post. This time it's only focused on food, drinks and dessert. I don't think there's much more to say as an intro so, let's check these goodies!

First we hacve this Gochujang Korean hot pepper paste. Honestly, I bought it out of curiosity but I was afraid it'd be too spicy. Surprisingly, it is not. It's actually pretty good. Tt’s made from Korean chilli powder,  fermented soybean powder, glutinous rice powder and salt.  The flavor is a kinda like tomato with a slight sweet taste to it. Kind of a mix of sweet, sour and spicy. You know I'm no kitchen expert but I used it to season some chicken breasts and they came out really good. This presentation comes with 170g but I think thay have a bigger presentation. I'd defo buy it again.

Lately I've been obseesing ober these grape tomatoes. They are as cute as cherry tomatoes but, cheaper. The taste is great and it makes it easier for me to eat more veggies with my daily meals. I even have them as a part of my school lunch sometimes.

They're kinda cute 🍅

Yup, the Barbie The Movie boom continues. This time I bought these mini popsicles by Great Value. There's nothing too special about the popsicles but, they are really good. I've tried their bigger version before and I love them. It comes with 3 different flavors: lemon, tangerine and strawberry. (the strawberry ones are SO GOOD!). You get 4 popsicles of each flavor. To me, they are a little too small but some people think they have the perfect size. Plus, the box is pretty cute and the price was great.

In my previous post I shared the "black sauce" peanuts, now we have black sauce ruffles. Yeah, I'm into trying anything black sauces related. They were great but didn't have as much flavor as the others I've tried. Would I buy them again? Of course! They were cheaper than the peanuts so, they're a great cheap snack.

Lastly, we have this drink that was the thing I was the most excited about. Lemon-dou is a Japanese drink made out of crushed lemons, sparkling water and vodka. I had to try it! This particular one is bu Coca-cola and they have 3 different types: Honey Lemon (the one I got) which is the lightest one with 3.2% alcohol, Signature lemon with 5% alcohol and Devil Lemon, which is the strongest out of the 3 with 9% alcohol. I need to try the other 2 but, from what I've read and tried, these drinks are very fresh. The honey lemon wasn't really sour or too sweet, which I think some people will appreciate. Plus it's reaaaaally soft and easy to drink. Perfect for those who aren't into strong alcohol. I'll keep you updated when I try the others.

And, that's it for this month guys! I'm excited cuz I think there is already some Halloween and Fall stuff in stores!
See you next time~! ♡

🛒 Walmart Finds | July 2023 |

I've been a big Walmart (and Prichos) fan for a long time now, especially because it is like 5 minutes away from my house. In the past, I used to go more than once a week and now that I buy for my own house, there are so many things I feel like sharing with others. That's why I thought I could start this series of posts whenever I find something fun, delish or just worth trying.

And I don't mean just food, I might also include house related things and pet stuff. I guess it'll depend on what I find and like.

I'm not sure this will be everyone's cup of tea or even if it will be a monthy thing but, I'm still doing it, hehe.

Here are my July favs~

The Barbie Movie fever made me do it and I haven't even watched the movie yet, hehe. This ice cream is by Awesome Foods and it's called "Strawberry Dreams". It's well, a strawberry ice cream. To me it was more like a strawberry bubblegum. It's not your regular strawberry flavor but, it's nothing way to special. Don't get me wrong, it was delish but I wish came in a bigger presentation (it was only 473 ml) There's also a "Pink lemonade" one that I really want to try.

Other Barbie yummies I got from Walmart~ 💕

This bread is not a July find, I actually tried it a couple of months ago at my bestie's and I've been loving it ever since. This Cruapán by Bimbo is fairly new and as the name says, it is a mix of a croissant and bread. It is very buttery and it does taste like a croissant. It's delish when you toast it. It only comes in one size of 360g. Then again, I wish they had a bigger version.

These Great Value peanuts are my latest addiction. They are called "Salsas Negras" but I'm not sure what kind of sauces it includes. All I know is they have soy sauce for sure. They may not be everyone's favorites tho. At first I thought they'd be similar to the Doritos Incognita peanuts (that I also love) but, they're not. This are slightly spicier. (not too much tho). Idk, it's a different flavor that I think it's worth trying.

Hide Junmai Sake is not new to me but, I found this special edition bottle with the Samurai head. It's just soooooooo pretty and, as a sake lover, I had to get it.

Now let's move from the yummies to the pet goodies.

I found these paper bags with catnip from Fancy pets, cats love hiding places so I thought it'd be a good idea to get them and see if they liked them. The package comes with 2 bags that are made of 40% catnip. I'd say they are medium bags and have different prints on both sides.

All the cats in my family tried them and, Masha (first pic) didn't pay much attention to it, Sassy (middle pic) liked it and Michee (last pic) looooooved it. To me, making these babies happy makes it all woth it.

And, the last ting I wanna share here is from Prichos. For those who don't know, Prichos is a kind of dollar store that is inside some Walmart stores. They sell lots of different things like kitchen stuff, pets accessories, toys cleaning supplies and decoration goodies, all for the same price. I check it everytime I go to walmart and end up getting something most of the time so, I'm sure I'll end up sharing at least one favorite thing every time I make these posts.

This time my favorite is this cute bunny boiled egg molder. It is super easy to use and makes my eggs look adorable! I'm a sucker for everything cute so, I'm happy I got it. They also have a bear one and they are part of the Back to school collesction. I guess for the lunch and stuff.

And, there you go guys, some of my Walmart favs. I know you can still find these things if you're interesested in trying them.
Alright, I'll see you next time~!! ♡
