Bookie Bits: Sakura Hiden: Thoughts of Love, Riding Upon a Spring Breeze 🌸

I didn't think we would have another Bookie Bits post for a while but, here we are, hehe. Back in December I got this book that is the third book of the Naruto hiden books by Masashi Kishimoto and Tomohito Ohsaki.

I'm not sure you guys know this but, Sakura is one of my favorite Naruto characters. Despite what most people think, I don't find her annoying, I think she's a smart and strong (not only physically) character that has developed in a great way as the series went by. She's kind, a good friend and I find her love and relationship with Sasuke really, really cute.

This is not a new book tho, I think it's from 2015, and even tho I saw it online a few times and was a little curious to read it, I wasn't planning to get it anytime soon. But that day I went with my friends to a new Panini store and saw it there next to the Shikamaru Hiden and I was like, "why not?". Plus, it wasn't expensive at all.

So, here we have it, the Sakura Hiden: Thoughts of Love, Riding Upon a Spring Breeze🌸(what a long name!) I'd have loved it to have it in English, but they only had it in spanish. Oh well.

This how the cover looks like. All in pink and with a nice illustration of Sakura.

At first I thought it's be more like a manga, I was surprised it was actually a book. It doesn't really have much art inside but, the pictures it has are really nice! It also came with a matching bookmark.

This is how the front of the book looks like without the sleeve thingy.

And, this is the back of it. They have different pictures in the sakura flower.

This has to be one of my favs pics of Sakura.

Some of the other characters we see in the story.

The story is placed after The last. The villians, Kido and Magire, create a drug made from Sasuke's and Naruto's DNA, giving those who take it great strenght and some of the habilities these two have. Sasuke is blamed for part of the bad things happening, expecting him to come back to Konoha so they can use his eyes to make a "sharingan" drug. Sakura is kidnapped by them, hoping he'd come and rescue her. Cool thing is, she is no damsel in distress and she ends up saving herself and, along with Naruto, Ino, Sai and Kakashi, defeat the bad guys.

This is a very, very random summary cuz I'm not good at this but I promise the story is pretty good. I couldn't stop reading after going through the first chapters.

The book is divided in 8 chapters with 5 parts on each chapter. It's easy to read and we get to see the relationships developing between characters, lots of action and the thoughts and feelings Sakura has for Sasuke.

Sadly, we don't get to see much of Sasuke (my love) but the end of the story made me really happy. ♡

It was a nice and easy read and I couldn't help to imagine the whole story as I was reading the book. It also has a few funny moments feat. Naruto.

I believe there are 6 books from this series, I want to read Kakashi's so, that one could be next!

And, I think this is it for this Bookie Bits, hope you enjoy, and let me know if you've read some of the Naruto Hiden stories.

Chibi Neko Sasuke had to be here cuz I've had it for a while and haven't showed it here! He's too cute not to share, hehe.

Bookie Bits: The Secret

Today we have a bit of a different post because, I finished a book! Yeah~ the first book this year! And I have to say I really enjoyed it. Keep in mind this is defo not a review, it's just my thoughts on it.

For the longest time now, I heard people talking wonders about this book, some have recommended it to me and others were even obsessed with it and the movie. Personally I haven't watched the movie and we all know I'm not the best reader but, I recieved this book back in June as a birthday present from my dad and Sari, they both love the book and wanted to share it with me so, I promised I'd read it.

Surprisingly, I didn't take me that long to finish it. The fact that it has around 200 pages helped a lot. I finished back in early August. And I liked it because it is easy to read and understand, there's no complicated language that, at least to me, can get really boring.

The Secret by Rondha Byrne is kind of a self-help book that talks about the law of attraction and how to use it to live your best life and attract everything you want.

It explains how important it is to really switch our thoughts to positive ones to make everything around us change for good. It also includes experiences from people who have studied or changed their lives using this "Law of attraction"

I feel like some people sound as if they were religious fanatics when they talk about the secret, that's why I never felt like reading the book or watching the movie, but it really is nothing like that. It just gives you a different perspective of the way you think, say and do things and how it is true we always attract what we recieve; good or bad.

It pretty much gives you a guide on how-to attract something you want into your life.

I wouldn't say after reading the book my life has completely changed like some people do but, I am trying to change the my thoughts and even the way I say some things. I want to start attracting only good and happy things to my life so I can really start living my best life without feeling tied to things that are no longer giving me anything positive.

So yeah, I'd say this book is kind of eye-opening and I would recommend it if you're looking for a change in your life but you don't know where to start.

I feel so serious writing about a book~ hehe.
