I feel like I've talked about Full Metal Panic! a couple of times before but some of you might not know it is one of my all time favorite anime and I just feel it is underrated. It doesn't receive as much love or attention as it should. I'm constantly trying to recommend it to my friends and people I know because, I love it so much and I like finding people to talk about it or fangirl over with.
It is not a new show, the first season came out back in 2002. I watched it on Animax and even tho I started watching the second season (FMP? Fumoffu), it caught my attention and had to watch the other seasons too. I've been a big fan ever since and this is one of those shows I keep rewatching every now and then, know and love all the opening and ending songs and, just never gets old. At least not for me.
I'm not gonna focus on the show today, but, let me know if you'd like me to share more about it in the future. I'll more than happy to do it.
Because it is not a super popular show, it's not that common to find FMP merch so, the figure I'm gonna show you today is very precious to me. It was a gift I received many, many years ago. I had to do some research online cuz I didn't have any info about it.
This Chidori Kaname figure is a part of a Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu Hot Spring Series Gashapon Figure collection that was release back in 2005. I have the swimsuit version but there's also the nude version, where she's covering herself with a pink towel. This show has some fan service, especially Fumoffu so, it was expected.
The collection also includes other female characters too. There are 5 figures and a surprise one too. The swimsuit version is the surpise one. I'm glad I have Chidori, she's my favorite.
She's 10cms tall, comes with a base and spearate parts. I recently decided to separate the parts to clean her for the pics.
Chidori is wearing her usual white swimsuit and has the same pose as the hot spring one. The details on the figure are pretty good too, especially for a gatcha figure. The paint details might not be as impressive as newer figures but, they are accurate and I like the slight blush on her cheeks.
I hope to get more FMP goodies in the future, if I do, i'll be sharing them in here for sure, hehe.
