MISSHA Super Aqua Perfect Cleansing Tissue

I don't usually go for cleansing tissues when it comes to cleaning off my makeup because no matter the brand or the kind of tissues I try, they always end up hurting my skin. My eyes get all swollen and red marks start to appear all over my face. It is no fun~
But even knowing how my sensitive skin reacts to them I wanted to give the Missha ones a chance.

 Missha is one of the top beauty brands in Korea, I kinda felt I couldn't go wrong with them. They have two kinds of cleansing tissues, the ones I got are water based and the other is all-in-one and it's oil based. (the oil based are better removing waterproof mascara)
And I was so right! I've been using them for over a week now and there is no redness so far. My skin feels so fresh and moisturized after using them. The smell is very subtle and fresh and the sheets are really soft.
The package comes with 40 sheets, but I can easily remove my makeup using only half of it. I think you could use the whole sheet when you wear heavy makeup.

How to use:
1. Leave it on lip or eye makeup area for a while and wipe out gently.
2. Wipe over the face following skin texture and cleanse the face with foam cleanser.

So far I'm very happy with these! I highly recommend them if you have a very sensitive skin like mine. The only thing I could mention is, it takes a little longer to totally remove waterproof mascara, other than that, they are just great!

Clean skin is a happy skin~!

MISSHA Hot Pink Nails~♥

Hi there sweeties!

On my last visit to Missha I felt like I had to check out their nail polishes, I wasn't planning on buying one but this one caught my eye. The first thing I saw was the cute heart shaped bottle, but I also loved this color.

It is Missha Lucid Nail Polish #PK10. I found it weird the color doesn't have a name but, oh well. It's a bright orange-ish hot pink that I think it's perfect for Summer time.
The brush is a little shorter than others and a little thicker which makes the application a lot easier. After two coats, you get the exact color from the bottle. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the smell, it has a herbal cream smell or something~~ I can't explain. Good thing is, it goes away after it dries. Oh! I forgot to mention it dries really fast.

I spent a little more money on this one than I usually do but I think it was totally worth it! I loved it.

Haul: Missha makeup, beauty products and accessories.

Hi hi!

This was my second visit to Missha, this time I got the chance to check their catalogue online before actually going. I kinda liked it that way because they also show you their prices so, you can bring enough money to buy what you want. Something I really like about Missha (aside for their high quality products) is that they are very generous with samples! hehe. I love to get samples and try other products. It helps you to decide if the product works for your skin or not.

I didn't made a huge shopping but I did bought a few goodies for me and my mom. I even got my sis to buy some things for herself!

Let's take a look to what I got:

♥  Missha Super Aqua Perfect Cleansing Tissue.
♥ Missha The Style Lucid Nail Polish (PK10) It's a fun, bright pink color.
♥ Missha Oil Control Film. I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my mom. The one I got has 25 sheets, which is ok with me, since my skin is not way too oily, but it's always handy to have them in your bag.
♥ 2 heart shaped makeup sponges. In blue and hot pink. Then again, one is for my mom. I already have one in baby pink. They are so cute and really soft.
♥ Missha The Style 4D Mascara. This one is mom's.

I'm excited to try the samples!
I think I may make separate post for some of these Missha goodies.

Until next time!

I'm a Hello Kitty freak! / a special package from my "cousin-in-law" (Hitomitomtom)

Hi sweets! I've always loved Hello Kitty and Sanrio, since I was a little girl. I still have some of the things my parents bought me back then. I kinda treasure them.
But! I also have some new ones, from candies to stuffed dolls and even a small mirror. My friends and family know how much I like her and they also give me HK related things. Last weekend two of my best friends gave me a cute Hello Kitty bucket filled with marshmallows and...HK chocolates! (picture above ↑) I loved it, they know me too well~!!

And then, I got a package from my cousin-in-law-to-be-one-day Hitomi! It's always exciting to open a package when you come home from work! She was so sweet and sent a lot more than I expected! I'm really thankful for those birthday gifts and the letter! I was all excited reading it!
I love to get e-mails and messages from people but, there's something special about letters~ maybe it's just me but I really enjoy reading them.

So my part of the package had a lovely pair of HK slippers, a HK t-shirt and a HK head filled with really yummy Asian sweets! (which of course, are already in my tummy and in my sister's! They were sooooo good!)

My sister also got  two Sailor Mercury figurines, we are both Sailor Moon fans so, she was all happy!

I know giving away gifts doesn't define a relationship...(I don't know if that makes sense) but somehow, getting all these cute things and details from people around me makes me feel so special and spoiled! I like to give, and when I do it, I do it with all my heart and love so, I feel like when someone gives me something they do it feeling the same way~ So I truly thank you girls for everything, it all means a lot me!

xox♥

P.S. Yes!! I'm a Hello Kitty crazy fan, and I'm proud of it! LOL

Mon's Kitchen: Bean thread with chicken and veggies.

I bought a bag of bean thread noodles a while ago and I've been meaning to cook a traditional Chinese meal with them but honestly, I didn't had the time to look for a recipe. So last weekend I decided to do some cooking and use them. Even though my last minute recipe was kinda improvised, it turned out really good!
I never tried bean thread noodles before so I didn't knew what to expect. I could say they don't really have a taste but, trying them with other flavors makes a good mix.
I went for something simple, chicken and Oriental mix veggies.

Ingredients:

* Chinese Bean Thread Noodles (or Cellophane noodles)
* Broccoli
* Mushroom
* Water Chestnut
* Red Pepper
* Chinese beans
* Chicken strips
* Soy Sauce

Let's start with the chicken, since it took the longest to cook. I waited until they were fully cooked to chop them into small squares and added a little extra flavor using some soy sause and an other seasoning thingy we had at home. Then I let them fry a little. (I don't know why I always want things to fry~~~)

Moving on to the noodles. You need to pour boiling water over the noodles and soak them for 5 - 10 minutes. Drain the noodles as they turn soft.

The bag had 4 small packages of soup. Each was enough for one person.

This is how the noodles look before cooking.

Boiling, boiling~~~ ♪
Ready!
Once the chicken and noddles were ready I put everything together and added some veggies.
It was an easy to make and very light food for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
I'm definitely planning on cooking a real Chinese recipe using this noodles but, it was a good way to try Bean thread for the first time.
