👯 | 30 Day Blogging Challenge | Day 21: My Favorite Movie

So, I got a bit lost in days and change the posts a little... hehe. I noticed I skipped day 19: My favorite movie and shared "what makes me happy" instead. No biggie, right? I'll be doing that one today and we'll continue with the regular schedule tomorrow.

 My favorite movies

OMG I have so many favorite movies, it's hard to choose only one! So I'm gonna share some of my favorites.

📺 Anime:
Sailor Moon Super S Movie:

"When the Evil Madame Vadiane kidnaps Chibi-Usa, the senshi rush to her rescue with the aid of Chibi-Usa's new friend, Peruru. After trying to find Chibi-Usa and fight off Vadiane's henchmen to no avail, the three outer senshi (Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto) come to their aid. To rescue Chibi-Usa before she falls into a permanent dream filled sleep, Usagi must enter the Black Dream hole and save her. With some luck and a lot of effort, Sailor Moon saves Chibi-Usa, and she transforms to help Usagi."

Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door:

"The year is 2071. Following a terrorist bombing, a deadly virus is released on the populace of Mars and the government has issued a 300 million woo-long reward, the largest bounty in history, for the capture of whoever is behind it. The bounty hunter crew of the spaceship Bebop; Spike, Faye, Jet and Ed, take the case with hopes of cashing in the bounty. However, the mystery surrounding the man responsible, Vincent, goes deeper than they ever imagined, and they aren't the only ones hunting him. The original creators of the virus have dispatched Electra to deal with Vincent and take out anyone who may stumble on the truth behind him. As the hunt for the man with no past and no future continues to escalate, they begin to question what about the world is reality and what is a dream as the line between sanity and insanity becomes more apparent."

Studio Ghibli Movies: Especially Howl's Moving Castle, Only Yesterday and My Meighbors the Yamadas

Perfect Blue:

"Mima leaves the idol group CHAM, in order to pursue her dream as an actress. Mima climbs up the rocky road to success by performing as rape victims and posing nude for magazines, but is haunted by her reflections of the past."

📺 Horror:

Creepy Hide and Seek:

"When rumors about students who played at hitori Kakurenbo (sort of hide and seek alone with a ghost) propagate in high school, Shiori can no longer join his older brother Motoya. On his way to the apartment he is supposed to live, she found an empty room. But an internet forum unearthed on the computer of her brother leads her to believe that the disappearance of the latter may well be linked to this sordid game of hide and seek. Despite attempts by her boyfriend Noboru and his best to reassure her friend Yuko, Shiori is beginning to be convinced that something he wants her too and tries to track down. It will then turn to Shiraishi, a former classmate of her brother, trying to understand what is happening and return Motoya."

Coming soon:

"A young projectionist, Chen, decides to illegally record a newly released horror movie. After falling asleep during the screening, he wakes to find that his co-conspirator has disappeared and left his camera behind. Suddenly, the horror movie that they were watching in the cinema starts to happen to them in real life."

A tale of two sisters:

"After being institutionalized in a mental hospital, Korean teen Su-mi (Yeom Jeong-ah) reunites with her beloved sister, Su-yeon (Su-jeong Lim), and they return to live at their country home. The girls' widower father (Mun Geun-yeong) has remarried, and the siblings are immediately resentful of his new wife, Eun-joo (Kap-su Kim). As Su-mi and Su-yeon try to resume their regular lives, strange events plague the house, leading to surprising revelations and a shocking conclusion."

📺 Others:
Star Wars movies (episode II and III are my favs. Don't judge me!)

Clueless:

"Shallow, rich and socially successful Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school's pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give hopelessly klutzy new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. When Tai becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother (Paul Rudd) was right about how misguided she was -- and falls for him"

Grease:

"Experience the friendships, romances and adventures of a group of high school kids in the 1950s. Welcome to the singing and dancing world of "Grease," the most successful movie musical of all time. A wholesome exchange student (Olivia Newton-John) and a leather-clad Danny (John Travolta) have a summer romance, but will it cross clique lines?"

Beetlejuice:

"A childless couple, Barbara and Adam (Geena Davis & Alec Baldwin), move to the country only to be killed in a car accident while passing over a quaint covered bridge. Their ghosts return to their beloved Victorian home, and find the handbook for the recently deceased, which not only lets them know they're dead, but comes in handy when they learn that they can continue to live in their house, even though a new family--from the land of the living--is moving in. The new owners, fresh from the city, are quite a strange group themselves, and include the overpowering hipster mom Delia (Catherine O'Hara), her pompous SoHo interior designer Otho (Glenn Shadix), her meek husband Charles (Jeffrey Jones), and their morose teenage daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder), who befriends the ghostly couple. Though the threesome attempt to scare Delia from ruining the house with redecoration and her unpleasant personality, their attempts fail. As a last resort, they call upon the services of the demented, terrifying, but hilarious "bioexorcist," "Beetlejuice" (Michael Keaton)"

The Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2

my love

Ben 10 Alien Swarm (yeah~):

"Our world is threatened with an imminent invasion from a swarming alien menace. And there is only one hero brave enough, smart enough and tough enough to fight back - Ben Tennyson!"

Rurouni Kenshin Live Action movies:

"A Meiji era assassin leaves his life behind to protect the common man."

There are some of my favorite movies. I'm sure I'm missing a lot in here but, it's Tuesday and I'm tired, hehe.
Share one of your favs with me!!

  1. I think theres a American ver of a tale of two sisters? I remember watching one with a similar plot. With one sister going to some metal hospital after her mother's death and the dad does remarry and stuff. Nevwr knew there was an Asian ver but I should have known they always remake them

  2. And I had no idea they had an American version. I'd say watch the Asian version! In my opinion, they are better. Most of the time.
