Clean Skin! My skin care routine. Day / Night.

Hi hi sweets!
I know some of us are looking for the perfect skin look. I include myself on that! I don't think I have a perfect sking or anything but the skincare routine I've been having since last year has been working really well for me and I've seen a big difference on my face.

I used to be soooooo lazy when it came to washing my face everyday, removing my makeup every night before going to bed, and I know that if I had started at an earlier age, my skin would look way better now than it actually does. So if you're on your early 20s, take care of your skin, create a routine that works for you and you'll see a huge improvement on your skin.

I think the biggest secret for a good skin would be to keep it clean. Make sute to wash your face everyday, at least before going to bed to remove all the dust, makeup, etc of the day.

So, I'm gonna share with you guys the routine that has been working for me. I do this every morning and every night. No matter how lazy I feel or how late it is. I came to the point that if I don't keep my face clean, I feel guilty~~~~

My skin is slightly oily so, this works for my skin type. Keep in mind that products could change depending on your skin type and needs. I also have super sensitive skin, so it is hard for me to change products because most of them irritate my skin and cause break outs.

 DAY ROUTINE:

I wash my face every morning with cold water. The cold water helps me to depuff my sleepy eyes and face and well...to wake up!

In the mornings I use a scrub soap bar from Vitacilina. This is not a fancy or expensive brand, actually it is super cheap and can be found at Walmart.
They have like 3 different types of soaps but I picked the exfoliating one. It is really soft and gentle to my skin. I've been using it for over a year now and I'm thinking about continue using it.

After washing my face, I apply some hydrating cream. I'm currently using the Teatrical one. which is a little thick at first but, it absorbs really fast and keeps my skin soft and moist all day.

That's it for my cleansing routine in the morning. Most of the time I also try to apply some sunscreen. I'm using the Mary Kay SunCare with SPF50, but from some time now I don't love it anymore cuz it makes my skin feel too cakey once I apply my makeup.

NIGHT ROUTINE:

Before washing my face I remove my makeup using the Missha Super Aqua Cleansing Tissues.
Once I have a makeup free face, I wash my face with my Missha Green Tea Latte Cleansing Foam and gently massage it with my Etude House Wonder Pore brush for a better and deep cleaning.

After that, I apply a few drops of the Kiotis Paris Pavanelle Intensive Facial Treatment (which is almost over now) and massage my face for a few seconds, and them I put on some cream. I have to say I'm not using a night cream at the moment because I want to finish the Garnier Essential Care (this one is really light and fresh) but once I'm done with it I'll start with my first night cream ever.

And, this is what I do everyday!
Also, twice I week I exfoliate my face using the Avon ClearSkin Pore Penetrating Scrub and, I /try/  to use a face mask sheet at least once a week. (Usually DERMAL or The Cure but, I'm about to try new brands!)
Using the masks regularly, makes my skin glow in a very pretty and natural way.

I ran out of The Cure and DERMAL masks, but these are some I'm about to try. Missha & VANEDO

I hope this helps somehow. You can always create your own routine adding or changing some products. Whatever works for you!

Missha Creamy Latte Green Tea Cleansing Foam

Last month I bought this cleansing foam from Missha and starting using it right away. I included it as a part of my night cleansing routine. I'm only using it at night at the moment because I'm not done with the soap I was using last year to wash my face, which has been really good.

I picked this one out of 3 cleansing foams: Creamy Latte Strawberry (which smells DELICIOUS!), Creamy Latte Green Tea and Chocolate Cleansing Foam. All 3 have different ingredients to help diffetent skin types.

 Strawberry: For dry skin.

 For Normal skin

 Green Tea: For oily skin.

My skin is slightly oily so I decided to buy the Green Tea one plus, everything green tea is a must have for me~ hehe.

This one is supposed to: Provide elastic and moisture to the skin, clean sebum and cleansing the skin.

The package comes in this long tube with 172ml of product. It looks really clean and pretty. Nothing too special though,
I was expecting a strong green tea scent to it but to me it doesn't smell like green tea at all. It has a subtle fresh smell.

It looks like a pearlish green foam, and it is very creamy once you apply it on your skin.

 How to use:

Take a proper amount of the product in your hand (a super small amount is enough to make so much foam), apply and rub on your whole face and wash with warm water.

I usually rub it using my Etude House Wonder Pore Brush, for better cleaning. I massage it for a few minutes until I get a foaming effect. You can deffo feel the latte in it working on your skin.
I always take all my makeup off before using this product. I don't really know how effective it is removing makeup on its own.

I've been loving this product so far, it gives my skin a brighter look and it feels super soft after using it.

I got it straight from the Missha store and I think the price was very reasonable for a cleansing foam.
The only thing I would change about it would be the smell! I want it to smell like pure green tea! Hehe.

XOX

P.S. I'm thinking about making a whole "Day/Night Cleansing Routine" post. Would you guys like to see that?

What's in my bag?

For a while now, I been meaning to make an "Inside my Bag" post but, for whatever reason I just never did it, but this time I was like, I'm doing it this year! so, here I am, finally showing you guys what I usually carry with me on my everyday.

Since I'm a Teacher I used to carry 2 bags for work, one with my personal stuff and the other with my work stuff but I'm always carrying SO many things with me that I decided to cary everything I need in a bigger bag for work. So I'm constantly changing my things from one bag to an other depending on where I'm going.

Today I'll show you my everyday bag. I'm not the kind of girl who changes her bag everyday. I use the same one for about 6 months or something. I don't really match my bag with my clothes unless I really need to for a certain ocation.  I'm also not really into designer anymore.

The bag I'm carrying right now is this cute polka dots bag in a pretty coral-ish color with white I got as a Christmas gift. The size is perfect to carry everything I need. Not too big but not too small.
It has short straps and removable long straps, I've been liking the long ones for a change, it's comfortable. Inside it has 3 small bags where I store some of the small things I carry to find them a little easier.

So, before I type too much about one bag, let's take a look at what's inside.

♥ Pink Makeup bag with bear ears. I bought this one last year. It is kinda cute and very good quality. I changed back to it because the one I got for Christmas broke not too long ago. Boo! I don't do many makeup touch-ups during the day but I always carry this one with me, just in case. Inside my makeup bag I also carry the bear shaped mirror.

♥ Wallet. This one was a gift from Eonni, I really wanted a new wallet this year. Here I carry some cards and of course, money~

♥ Sony Cyber-shot camera. (not in the picture) Yeah, one thing I can't go out without is my beloved camera. It's been with me for a few years now and it works really well. Is the one I use for vlogging, random photos and the photos for this blog as well. It has really good resolution.

♥ Hello Kitty Antibacterial gel. It is one of those things you really could use anytime so, why not carrying one?

♥ A couple of painkillers inside a Hello Kitty can. This can used to have little candies inside but once they were over I used it to carry a few pills. I tend to get migranes often so it's super handy to carry some, in case needed.

♥ Glasses. (not in the picture) Some of you already know I can't see from affar, so whenever I'm driving or watching movies I need my glasses.

♥ Mini notebook and a pen. As a teacher I always need to carry a pen, I like thisone because it has many colors in one pen! I can switch anytime I feel like using different colors without carrying many pens and the notebook well, you never know when you'll need to write something down.

♥ Snacks! I always carry something to eat! I love sweets so, it can be chocolate, gummies, lollies, etc. It is a "must have" in my bag.

♥ Tony Moly Mini Bunny Hand cream

♥ Missha Oil Control Sheets. I'm already running out of these!

♥ My ID and driver's license are in this Hello Kitty mini folder which used to be a Band-aid package, hehe. I like to store them out of my wallet, just in case I lose it.

♥ My phone.

This is what I'm currently carrying, it can change from time to time. And now that I see it all in a list, I don't carry those many things! I used to carry a LOT more in the past inside bigger bags~ Oh well!
Some things such as my glasses or my house keys are not included in the picture but I usually cary them when I got out.

Would you like to se what's inside my Work bag, aka my "Teacher bag"? Hehe

And for those who are not really into reading long posts here is the video version of this "Inside my Bag" post. I was kinda excited to make it into a video too!

"Gothic Elegant" Appa Couture Photoshoot

Remember that photoshoot I had a few weeks ago? Well, I finally got the chance to see /some/ of the photos thanks to my friend Maya, who is also the designer of the collection we wore that day. And I said some of them because that day we took a lot of pictures! There were like 4 photographers and we worked with all of them. So here are some of my shots from one photographer and a few from the others.

I liked the end result! It doesn't show all the laughs we had in between photos though. There are more photos from this particular shoot but I'm only adding here mine so it doesn't end up being a huge photo spam post.

Then again, this is not my style, but it was fun to play dress up for a day!

Hope you like the piccies!

And, some from the other photographers.

✩ My January favs! ✩

Hi guys!
I didn't realize it was the end of the first month of the year already until a few days ago! I've been like crazy, I don't even know the day I'm living at~

Literally, this month went by in a blink of a eye. But I did tried some stuff I want to share with you guys as my favs of the month.

 Beauty & Makeup

As some of you already know earlier this month I bought the Missha Creamy Latte Green Tea Cleansing Foam and I've been using it for a few weeks now as part of my night routine everyday. I've been loving how my skin feels and looks after using it. I won't talk about it much in here because I want to make a separate post on that product. But yeah, deffo a favorite.
And, last December while I was doing some shopping for my sister's birthday I found this Shimmering loose eyeshadow with brush from L.A. Colors in Snow White (SE111). It's been a while since the last time I bought something from L.A. Colors! (I remember when their nail polishes used to be my ultimate favorites!) I've been into using pearly colors on my lower lash line to add that cuteness and live to my eyes and I decided to see howthis one would work for me. At first I thought it'd be a little messier for me to use a loose powder with a tiny brush on my lower lash line but once I got a hold of it I realized it's so quick and easy to use. I think the shimmers in it look super pretty and I've been using it as part of my everyday makeup.

 Clothes & Accesories

This year I realized how much I like Forever 21's clothes and accessories. I haven't bought a lot YET but I'm sure there's still a lot to come this year. One of my favorite pieces from what I've got so far are this cute pair of sushi socks! Yeah, socks! Maybe you don't know this but, I'm the type of girl who loves to wear socks with cute colors and prints on them. The cuter, the better. And I fell for them as soon as I saw them. I am a sushi lover so, they are just perfect. Hehe.
Something I've been wearing a LOT lately are the black booties my mom sent me from Spain last month. They are super comfortable and easy to match with everything. I wear them at least once a week!

 Yummies

I've tried Banana Milk and Strawberry Milk before, both are so good, it's hard to pick which one I like the most. This month I also had the Melon Milk, and it's as good as the other 2! I can easily get addicted to them.
It is no secret I am a big coffee lover but, I don't really like coffee flavored things such as ice-cream, donuts, candies, etc. Is that weird? But! This Crown Dasse Coffee Slim Cookies could make me change my mind! When I first bought them I didn't noticed the flavor, but once I tried them, I loved them! They are super slim, with a very subtle coffee flavor and a very soft texture. I don't know how to describe them, they are just soooooo good!

Places

Coffine Gurunaru has to be one of my favorite coffee places at the moment. I am a little picky when it comes to coffee and stuff but, I fell for this place! Their Blueberry drinks are a must try! As for prices, it is a tiny bit more expensive than Starbucks but trust me, it's worth it. Sadly, it is not as close to me as I wish it was so, I can't visit it as often!

So, those are my favs for this month, I'm so excited for February, the month of love! I just adore the whole "Valetine's Day" feeling everywhere!

Until next time!
