KissMe Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara

I don't blog much about mascaras because I'm not really picky with them, as long as they are waterproof, they work for me.
And that is why I will share this one, because it's not only waterproof... it is super waterproof! No joke.

It's the Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara in "01 Jet" and I love it because it has strong manga vibes.

From what I've seen, it is a very popular product in Japan and I can see why! According to the internet, the mission of the company is: "Taking inspiration from the movies, Heroine Make set out to make women feel “beautiful at all times and undefeated by rain or shine, sweat or tears,” like real-life heroines of their own lives."

Somehow it makes me think of Detective Conan, even tho the character designs have nothing to do with it... hehe.

It comes in a very dark purple package with a very sublte glitter (the camera didn't catch it tho) and a silver pink-ish lid.

It has a curvy tip to reach the roots(?) of the lashes and elongate them. It also makes the application easier.

I don't usually curl my lashes and only apply one coat so, that's what you'll see here today. I do think it gives lenght to my lashes and holds them up even without proper curling. I'm sure you can get wow-lashes with more than one coat.

Eyes after one coat

I've been really enjoying this mascara, it looks great all day long and it doesn't smudge. The only down side to it is that it is super duper hard to remove. I saw somewhere they also have a mascara remover. I've tried oil based makeup removers and they make it a little easier.

Other than that, it is a great product.

excuse the weird lighting of the pics...

💋 Kose Visée Crystal Duo Lipstick

I really like the gradient lips look. I've been loving it since it started trending in Korea, years ago. But truth is, I'm not good when it comes to this technique so, lippies especially made for it make it a lot easier for me.

This Visée Crystal Duo Lipstick gives you that gradient effect with a glossy finish. It has a clear layer on the outside, that gives a shiny glossy effect and helps to blend the colored layer on the inside.

This lippie is the PK862 which is a pink shade with a coral-ish undertone and it's actually very mosturizing and works well without applying lipbalm, leaving your lips soft and moisturized for a long time. Plus, it doesn't settle on my lip lines, it doesn't have any scent and it doesn't feel thick on the lips.

The color is not super strong with one application. It does give you a nice and subtle pop of color but, you can always build up the color if you want it to look a little darker.

The presentation is really pretty! It has this kind of lace pattern that looks super elegant and girly. I love it!

Durability wise, it's good. You do have to reapply if you eat or drink something but, the color doesn't fade completely. It leave a nice hint of color on the lips.

| CANMAKE Tokyo Coloful Nails | Chic Gray

On my nails right now is the CANMAKE Tokyo Colorful Nails in "Chic Gray" (N44) which is a beautiful gray color with a lilac undertone. I've been loving this color lately, it's perfect for this colder season. It looks super clean and somehow it makes my hands look really nice, haha.

CANMAKE Tokyo is a Japanese brand that, from what I've read, has a girly, pop and shiny concept. Their products are absolutely girly and cute.

It is described as: "Long-lasting, quick-drying, with fantastic shine! Creates a finish that looks beautiful whenever you gaze at it. Also resistant to wearing off, so the glossy, wet look lasts and lasts for a long time."

As it says, the nail polish is super long lasting and it dries super fast. It has a very good quality. You do need to apply 3 layers to get the exact color from the bottle tho.

The presentation is simple yet cute. With a glass bottle and a silver lid. Looks a little pricess like. 👑

I've been wearing this color a lot, it's literally my fav atm.

SHISEIDO INTEGRATE Wide Look Eyes Duo Shades Eyeshadow

Doing some research, I discovered that Intergrate, the brand of these eyeshadows, is a part of the Shiseido group. This eyeshadows are the SHISEIDO INTEGRATE Wide Look Eyes Duo Shades Eyeshadow.

"A makeup brand from Japan that targets women in their 20s and 30s, INTEGRATE offers high-quality, uncomplicated cosmetics for a pretty, natural look. Its first social contribution program, Global Sisters Project, was launched in November 2016 to support women in Japan and around the world through makeup. The brand is available mainly in Asian countries and regions such as Japan and Taiwan."

I’ve heard so many things about Japanese eyeshadows, and most people say they are not as pigmented as Korean or western brands. And that is also part of the style Japanese women have, more natural. That’s why I was surprised to see how beautiful and pigmented these two colors are.

As usual I want to start with the packaging, which is very clean and simple, yet girly and cute! It is hot pink with a transparent lid and I especially like the way the eyeshadows are presented. I love everything that has hearts in it, hehe. It doesn't come with a brush, applicator or mirror, which I'm ok with because I always like to use my own brushes.

The one I have is PK373 "Pink" and like the name says, it is a very shimmery light pink along with a burgundy-ish shade. Perfect for the Fall - Winter seasons.

What I liked about them is that even tho they are very shimmery, the colors actually show even when you blend them together.

those veins tho...

Durabily wise, they are great even without an eyeshadow primer (which I never really use), looking great and colorful almost all day long.

What else can I say? I've been loving them!

LULULUN Balance Moisture Face Mask

Hello dollies! Today we have Japanese facemasks from LULULUN. It is my first time trying them and it is one of the 3 packages I recieve from this brand. Apparently these are one of the best-selling masks in Japan and yeah, I've read and seen many good comments about them. I'm happy to finally try them.

The LULULUN Balance Moisture Face Mask comes in pack of 7 sheet masks, perfect for a week worth of masks. I just love it when they sell them like this. Plus, the presentation is super cute.

This one claims to nourish dry skin, balancing moisture levels and apparenty, each package contains the equivalent of 4 bottles of serum with ingredients like: Hyaluronic Acid, acacia honey, rice ceramide and gingseng root.

It is free from artificial colors and mineral oils. They have a very subtle scent and the formula is not sticky at all, which is really nice. It absorbs really fast leaving my skin soft, hydrated and with a healthy glow.

Something I've noticed is that Japanese sheet masks are smaller than the Korean ones which makes them a lot easier and more comfortable to use.

I've been really liking these masks and I can't wait to try the others!

DHC Lip Cream Conditioning Lip Balm

It is no secret a love a good lip balm to help my forever chapped and dry lips. I've been trying different ones and so far, the one from Burt's Bees is on my top favorites.

I've read so many good comments about the DHC Lip Cream Conditioning Lip Balm so, I was really excited to finally get the chance to try it. I have to say that it is true what they say, it is one great lip cream. It's even an awards winning product in Japan.

It applies smoothly and hydrates the lips immediately, giving them a nice glossy look without feeling thick or sticky. The moisture lasts for a long time without the need to reapply. It's a good base to wear before your lipstick.

It conatins Lanolin Oil, beeswax and olive fruit oils, among others, which help to soothe the lips and also work as antioxidants.

I've been using it everyday for over a month as my day time lip balm along with the Burt's Bees at night and my lips defo look and feel better.

November is J-Beauty Month!

Hello you guys! I'm super excited because back in September a recieved a very special package from my friend Tomi with lots of Japanese goodies (you know how much I love Japan), including skincare products and makeup.

I started trying the products (and eating the candy) almost as soon as I opened the package, but then October came and I wanted to focus on mostly Halloween posts. So I decided to dedicate November to share all those products with you.

I've tried a few Japanese skincare products before but it is officially my first time trying their makeup brands and products. So yeah, I can say I'm discovering the Japanese makeup world and, loving it! It feels so good to finally try some things I always wanted to but only saw them on youtube, hehe.

Once again, thanks Tomi for all the goodies and yummies! I'm still not over it, haha.

Let me know if you'd like me to blog about the anime stuff and candies too.

xx
