☾ Sailor Moon Crystal Crunch Cereal Box

Today we have an unofficial Sailor Moon Cereal Box I got a while ago at the Kawaii Pop expo I went with my friends.

I bought it because I thought it was a unique thing to buy, I never saw something like this before! They had different designs and even sizes. I got a small box because they didn't have a bigger SM one. If I remember correctly, they also had SNK, The Simpsons and even Rugrats cereal boxes.

It's called Crystal Crunch which is a pretty good name for a SM cereal. It also says that it includes a Luna magnet~ It'd have been cool if that was true tho...

This is how the front and back of the box looks like.

And we have these cute pics on the sides.

When you onpen the box, the cereal comes in a separate silver bag, as most cereals do.

When I opened the box I found Froot Loops, I wans't surprised tho, I was expecting it to have random cereal inside.

Even tho it is not an offical item, I think the whole concept is pretty cool. I'd have chosen something like Lucky Charms for this particular one tho.
I'll keep the box to display on my kitchen or something and I'll get the SNK one if I get the chance, the box featured Levi Heichou so, yeah.

This is a bit of a short and random post but you know everything Sailor Moon is worth sharing to me. Hehehe.

Kimetsu No Yaiba Potato Maru Snacks

Something I love about Japanese snacks and candy is how many anime collabs they have. You don't see them everyday in my country so I try to buy some whenever I get the chance.

This time I bought the Kimetsu No Yaiba Potato Maru Snacks which are dried noodles and diced potato snacks that come in small bites.

At first I thought they were small rice cookies. They are slightly salted and you can kinda taste the potato in them.

Looking online and from what I saw when I bought them, they have many different designs and they all come with a card. Mine says it's "Version B". I believe "Version A" comes with loose dry noodles instead.

The card came stuck on the back of the snack bag

I got Shinobu, which made me happy since she's one of my favorite characters. My friends also got some. We all got different cards.

This is how the back of the cards look like.

Diana got lucky! She got to exchange cards to ger her 2 favorites.

I guess there's nothing way too special about these snacks but they are good. I'd defo buy them again. It was fun opening them with my friends and they were pretty cheap too!

We have more anime related stuff coming this month so, stay tuned!

☾ Sailor Moon X Kanro Candy Pt. 2

Earlier this year I showed you the 2  Sailor Moon X Kanro Candy bags I got and mentioned how I wanted to collect them all.

Last month, when my friends and I went to Kawaii Pop, my friend gave me the 3rd bag I needed to have all the 55g designs.

The idea is the same as the previous ones, it has a beautiful stained glass design featuring the inner Senshi: Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Inside you get different, random designs on each candy.

The different senshi I got this time were Jupiter (2) abd Moon!! I got Uranus, Venus and Saturn again.

Super Happy I got Sailor Moon this time!!

The flavor is also peach and rose. Actually, I quite liked them! It's a very unique flavor.

I know this is a very short post but, I really wanted to share these yummies with you as a part of my SM collection.

Now I need to find the 25g cabdy bags to have them all!

What I eat in a weekend

I've been watching some of these videos online and I just really enjoy them! That's why I thought it'd be fun to write this post. I'm not sure if this will be interesting for some but yeah, I still wanted to share.

I do have to say that what I eat during the weekends really change depending on if I go out, buy take outs or, if I feel like prepping something nice.

Now that I'm on my own, I've been "cooking" or at least making my own food and planning my meals a lot more often and it's been a fun experience.

Don't expect to see anything fancy tho, I can be veeeery basic!

What I'm going to show you is what I ate last weekend, I decided to stay at home and prep my own meals. On a weekend, I don't really have an eating schedule, I pretty much eat when I get hungry.

Saturday January 23rd

Breaky:

I had breakfast around 10:30am I finish my morning classes at 10. Sometimes I have another cup of coffee during the class. I just didn't have enough time! I woke up late. Hehe.

I made some scrambled eggs with ketchup and a toast. I love to put ketchup on almost everything.

Of course I had my morning coffee, which was instant coffee cuz I'm lazy to make something nicer in the morning. My friend Diana gave me some sweet break the day before and I decided to eat it with my breakfast. It was super cute, super pink and, delish.

Lunch:
My lunch was around 3pm and it was pretty much leftovers. I had white rice and sardines in tomato sauce.

I don't know how must people feel about sardines but I really like them. Also, I could eat white rice everyday.

My drink was this Korean Sparkling Melon Soda. It was so good! Not super sweet but it had this nice, artificial melon taste I really enjoy. Hehe.

And after my lunch I always crave something sweet. I had a couple of Lindor chocolates.

Dinner:

Dinner is something I skip sometimes or eat something really random depending on how hungry I am. My small dinner was around 9pm and I only had 2 small swiss rolls and a glass of cold chocolate milk.
FUN FACT: I can't drink milk if it's now flavored. I rarely do it and when I do, it has to be cold.

Night snack:

I decided to watch a movie that night and it is not the same to watch one without snacks. I chose Tostitos Salsa Verde because they are one of my favorites! Usually, I'd have them with a drink (beer or sake) but I could't drink any alcohol this time because of my booster shot. They said I shouldn't drink alcohol for 15 days...

Sunday January 24th

Breaky:

On Sunday I usually get up around 9 or later, haha. I had breakfast around 10am. I made some french toasts, coffee and had some blueberries. I've been trying to eat more fruits and veggies cuz, even tho I like them, I don't have them as often as I should. Plus, blueberries have antioxidants and that, is a must!!

One of my toasts has peanut butter and Choco Krispies on top, and the other one had Nutella and pink pearls.

Lunch:

Again, my lunch was around 3pm. This time I ate a bagel with philly, manchego cheese, sausages and ketchup. I usually put the sausages in the microwave and heat them until the become all wrinkly. To add some greens I had spinach.

And yeah, I had soda again~ this time it was a Korean Sparkling Calamansi Soda. I don't usually like these flavors but I never had calamansi before, I didn't even know exactly what it was. But it had a very special taste, not bad. It was a little stronger than the melon one.

Dessert was a Kinder Delice Chocolate. They are as good as small slices of chocolate cake.

Dinner:

Again, dinner was around 9:30pm and I just had two small donuts and cold chocolate milk.

Later that night I finally finished watching Shingeki No Kyojin The Final Season part 1 snacking on Pake Taxo cheese mix. I can't wait to watch the new season!

It's funny cuz as I was putting this post together I realized I didn't eat in between meals! I'm so proud, haha. Cuz I usually do it whenever I spend all day at home.

I showed you how I drank soda with my lunch but I'm also trying to drink more water. Specially after the bad kidney infection I had last year. I always have this tumbler around me filled with water so I remember to drink water during the day. I won't lie, I don't think I drink 3ltr a day but hopefully I'll get there one day.

And there you have it, what I eat on a random weekend at home. Hope you enjoyed it, hehe.

See you next time!! 😋

☾ Sailor Moon X Kanro Candy

Last year Kanro, which is a Japanese sweets company, made a collaboration with Sailor Moon and they came out with these gorgeous stained glass designs. They have 3 designs of 55g and 4 different ones of 25g according to what I've seen online.

I found mine at Expo Magyc back in December where I bought the one with the Outer Scouts and later, I recieved the Sailor Moon one for Christmas.

I know they also have one featuring the Inner Scouts that I'll defo get if I find it.

Both bags look the same on the back.

Closer look to the Sailor Moon one.

And, the Outer Scouts version.

Both bags have the same flavors: Peach and Rose. They have hard candy on the outside and syrup inside.
I haven't eaten all the candies but the ones I've tried taste the same. At first I thought there would be peach candy and rose candy but I think the flavors are mixed. They have a strong peach taste with a slight perfumey touch, which I assume is the rose. Same goes to the syrup. But surprisingly, they are good!

Each bag came with different designs. There is a different desing of each outer and inner scout as well as their bows and representative colors. They're too cute!!

Out of all the scouts, I only got 2 Mercury, 1 Mars, 1 Saturn, 1 Pluto, 1 Chibi Moon, 2 Venus and 1 Uranus.

Close-up to my waifu Uranus. All of them come like this, with some rose petals on the background, their silhouette and their planet symbol.

I didn't get all of the designs but, they are super cute!

I didn't want to open them at first because I want to safe the bags and probably frame them, they'd make pretty decorations!

I believe they are also part of the 25th Sailor Moon Anniversary merch and you can find them online too, if you're interested. Defo something cool to have as a Sailor Moon fan.

いただきます! | Wabi Sabi |

"Wabi Sabi is an ancient aesthetic philosophy rooted in Zen Buddhism, particularly the tea ceremony, a ritual of purity and simplicity in which masters prized bowls that were handmade and irregularly shaped, with uneven glaze, cracks, and a perverse beauty in their deliberate imperfection."

Japanese food has to be my favorite food in this world, I could eat it everyday if possible. My friends share that passion with me so we got together and decided to visit Wabi Sabi for lunch.

Wabi Sabi is a Japanese restaurant I discovered a few years ago thanks to my friend Lu. We had tea and taiyaki there once, but I never actually had a proper meal until now.

The way the presented the tea was very pretty.

Yum!

The second time I went there was because they had a little Hello Kitty event. I quickly stopped by with my mom, bought a few things and... had taiyaki again! This was before the pandemic, of course.

It was nice to finally try some of their dishes. The place is pretty cute actually, nothing too fancy but it's a nice, open place to eat. I believe before the pandemic they even had live music and little market sales every now and then.

Cute fishies welcome you to the place

I really liked this crane wall

Koinobori at the entrance.

Luckily, it wasn't crowded when we were there. They have less tables available at the moment and of course, take out service. We chose a combo that included a mini ramen, sushi rolls, onigiri and a drink. (I forgot the name of it tho~~~)

My onigiri had breaded shrimp inside, it was absolutely delicious.

Happy to be reunited!

Everything was pretty good. I was full when I finished my meal. Cuz yeah, I ate the whole thing.

"Agua Bonita" I tried mango-mint water. It was really refreshing!!

The staff was nice and they didn't take forever delivering our food. Prices wise, I think it's good, especially for the amount you get.

I'll leave their IG account in case you wanna check it out and visit them some time.

They gave us a crane each when we were about to pay.

I think we're defo coming back!
