My 10 favorite anime girls.

Hello babies!
After making "My 10 biggest anime crushes" post and challenging some of my friends to make their own list, my sister Mayis challenged me to make a new list including my 10 favorite anime girls.
I thought this one would be easier than "my crushes" one but, it was hard to pick only 10.

So here we go! This is in no particular order~

1. Tsukino Usagi (Sailor Moon) Sailor Moon was pretty much my first anime, and I loved Usagi. I could totally relate to her during my school days (I still do in some ways) in both good and not so good things. I think that's why I liked her so, so much.

2. Kaioh Michiru (Sailor Moon) She's everything I'm not! Maybe that's why I like her so much. She's a lady, super smart, elegant, talented, artistic, etc. AKA the perfect woman. I wonder if it's fair to include two characters from the same show~ Plus, I love the strong relationship she has with Haruka.

3. Kamiya Kaoru (Rurouni Kenshin) I just love Kaoru's temper! I feel like I can relate to her in a way. We can't cook! And, who wouldn't like to have Kenshin living in her dojo!

4. Chidori Kaname (Full Metal Panic) Kana-chan has a strong temper which makes her so funny to watch. Especially when she fights with Sousuke. She's also a strong and smart girl. I think if I had to choose only one favortie anime girl, it'd be between Kana-chan and Usagi.

5. Elie (Rave Master) She is the cutest! She can be funny but strong at the same time. And this girl has a BIG appetite.

6. Belldandy (Ah! My Goddess) She's one of the sweetest and most innocent characters I've seen. Since she's a Goddess, some common things in the "human world" are new to her. Her love for Keiichi-kun is the cutest. I got the chance to read a few manga chapters too and yeah, I just love her.

7. Matsumoto Rangiku (Bleach) When I first saw Bleach, Orihime was my favorite, but as I got to know more characters I loved Rangiku. She's just too funny and beautiful! I feel like I can relate to her in /some/ ways. I also love her relationship with Gin (I still regret not including him in my anime crushes list~ Sorry!) and also, her relationship with Hitsugaya Taichou. They make such a great team!
Plus, Rangiku will always have a special place in my heart for so many reasons.

8. Komatsu Nana (Nana) Ok! I know some people don't adore this Nana but, I do! I could say I understand her a LOT in so many ways and actually could relate to her sometimes too. Not in the "falling in love with a lot of guys for just calling me pretty" thing, because I'm so not like that but, in other things. Actually, what made me want to watch this Anime a little more was because a lot of people start telling me how much the Nanas reminded them of my sister and I. Sis actually thinks "Hachiko" would fit me cuz, I can be like a loyal puppy too~~~~~ (°3°)I also like her style. (so many characters have great style on this anime!)

9. Winry Rockbell (FullMetal Alchemist) I think my favorite thing about Winry is her passion for the Automail, which was kind of contagious cuz, the Automail is now one of my fav things about Edward Elric! Winry is super pretty and can work with tools!
I've heard that in Brotherhood there's a little bit more of a love story between Ed & Win so, I should deffo check it out.

10. Mouri Ran (Detective Conan) I like the fact that Ran is an independent, strong girl. But her love for Shinichi is what I find the cutest.

So, this is my list! Then again, it's so hard to pick only 10. Thankies to my sis for challenging me and now I challenge everyone who wants to do their fav anime girls list. Make sure to share with me!

See you next time!

DERMAL Rich Moisture Eye Patch

Hiya loves!

After the crazy week I had last week and the emotional weekend with my mom leaving, my eyes got all tired and swollen. I had horrible dark circles. So, a while ago I bought these eye patches from DERMAL but never used them until now.
I think they have like 3 other types of eye patches but I decided to get moisture ones.

This one doesn't really have a strong scent, and the patches are super soaked in the product.

Once I had the chance to relax, with a clean face I put on the patches and let them work for 30min. Then I removed the patches and gently massaged my eye area.

I wonder why all theface masks and patches are too big for my face! This could work as a "cheek patch" (>3<)

The next day after the mask and a good sleep, my eyes definitely felt and looked better.
I'm saving the other pack for when I really feel like I need to use them.

If you need a quick and effective "pick-me-up" remedy for tired and swollen eyes. Go for these type of eye patches. Something I also want to mention is they are so gentle to my super sensitive eyes. That's a big yay.

Mom went to Spain!

Hello sweet sweets!
Last week was one of the busiest and most tiring weeks ever. But also a very emotional one, especially the weekend.

Last Sunday mom left to Spain and even though I'm so happy for her, it is a big change for everyone. We helped her with big packing, a goodbye meal with the family, lots of talking and crying ( enough to wake up to super swollen eyes!) the night before the actual trip and a super early start on a Sunday morning to make it on time to the airport.

I love going to the airport, there is a lot to see! We had some Krispy Kreme for breakfast and I even did some shopping.

I'm not good with "goodbyes" but I'm sure it'll be an amazing experience for mom. She already shared a few pics with us and she looks happy and I can tell she's having a good time.

I might share some with you guys sometime!

My most painful experience so far! (>3<)

Hi babies!
Since I was a little girl, I always had this fear of going to the dentist, and because of that I kinda stopped going even though I knew one of my molars needed some attention.

Of course, as time went by, the tooth started to deteriorate to the point that it broke into pieces. So I had to be brave and make an appointment with the dentist who told me he needed to remove the tooth, as scary as it sounds I thought it'd be better. I kinda knew it would be painful and I'd even have to take a day off from work but I didn't expected that after over an hour of trying to remove the tooth and like 3 shots of anesthesia I would need surgery~

I never had a surgery before, just the name itself makes it scary. I just wanted it to be over, I was all sore, I even cried. But it had to be done, so the next day I had the appointment with another doctor to perform the surgery. Even though it only took her 30 mins. to finish the whole thing, it felt like forever. It was the scariest thing ever.

Recovering was the worst part, it was so hard and painful to eat, it took forever for me to finish a small meal, I couldn't chew or even open my mouth for like a week. Brushing my teeth was the worst.

Today after 2 weeks I'm finally having my stitches removed. It is a little annoying having something in there. My gums are not completely healed but at least it doesn't hurt anymore.

Going back to the dentist after so long wasn't a pleaseant experience but I know it was my fault it got this bad. From now on I promised myself to take better care of my teeth to avoid painful experiences. Especially because I'm no good tolerating pain~

I'm just glad it's all over now~ kkk

Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes "Bloody Halloween"

Hi hi!

I'm too excited to show you guys this Eyeshadow Palette. As the name says Fantastic Color Eyes #1 Bloody Halloween, it's supposed to be Halloween Limited Edition, I'm not sure. I got mine earlier this week.
When I saw the name "Bloody Halloween" I knew I had to have it. The colors are perfect for the Fall/Winter season.

This palette includes 5 eye shadows and 1 lip color. Even the names of each color are Halloween related.

"Pale" is a light beige with a little shimmer.
"Zombie Kiss" is the lip color one, it is a deep, wine-ish red which I think could be used as a cream blush thingy too. The color is super pretty.
"Witch Hunting" is a pretty pale soft pink and the only matte color of the palette.
"Funky Horror" is a shimmery purple pink-ish kind of color.
"Bloody Burgundy" as the name says is a reddish shadow which I'm not too sure if I'd use. I wouldn't feel too comfortable wearing red on my eyes but, we'll see.
"Halloween Night" is a metallic black.

What I also liked is the sponge applicator, wich comes with 2 sponge sizes, perfect to create different looks depending on what you want.

I can't wait to create a look using this palette!
Even though the package is really cute, I wish it'd look a little more Halloween-ish to match the whole theme.
But yeah, I'm too happy with them!!

Day of the Dead

BEWARE OF PHOTO SPAM!

Even though my family never celebrated this holiday, I could say it is one of the few things I do like about the place where I live.
I do know there's a difference between my beloved Halloween and tha day of the dead but since it comes right after halloween, I kinda like to put them together and celebrate it as one long holiday (does it make any sense?)

My friends and I had a little tour downtown to enjoy some of the Day of the Dead decorations, small fairs and the anual Alfeñiques fair. (I just found out Alfeñique is the art of creating figures from sugar~ Always learning something new! hehe)
I remember visiting this fair since I was a little girl wih my grandpa, and getting some traditional candies there. I was meaning to take some photos there but it was crazy crowded! It was almost impossible to walk around the place.
This fair is pretty famous here and people from many places comes to visit it, somehow I think is really pretty and colorful. What I mostly buy are chocolate skulls but there are TONS of sweets and other goodies, all related to death in a cute o funny way.

Thankies daddy for my chocolate skulls!

Can you tell the first one had a bad surgery after being crushed inside my friend's purse? LOL

They also had street plays, altar expositions and a small bazaar with some death related arts and crafts.

We never put altars at home, but I always have lots of fun helping with the one we put at school. Sadly this year I could be part of the making due to my dental surgery but I did helped with the cute and flirty skull at the right of the altar. My fellow teachers did an amazing job! Congrats sweets!

How do you guys celebrate the Day of the Dead?
