We are officially halfway to Halloween, it's the perfect time to share this question tag I've seen around on YouTube lately. It's not too long and it's a fun way to mark the date.
So, let's do this!
1. Are you a fan of haunted houses?
I am! I don't go as often as I would want to because there aren't many where I live but, whenever I have the chance, I really enjoy them.
2. What’s your favorite ghost story or haunted lore?
I loooove ghost stories but I'm not sure if I have a favorite one. I was obsessed with the 一人隠れん坊(one man hide and seek) urband legend for the longest time so I could choose that one as one of my favorites.
3. Do you plan on Halloween decor hunting this year? If so, what item(s) do you hope to find?
For sure! I hope to find useful yet haunted house style stuff, vampire related things (cuz I'm obsessed right now), more horror and Halloween movies merch and of course, vintage Halloween goodies. The nostalgia.
4. Candy corn: love it or hate it?
I think I'm in between. I don't love it, but I'd eat it. I can't help to feel excited when I see it tho, it screams Fall and Halloween. But I wouldn't say is my favorite.
5. Are you big into costumes and dressing up for Halloween? If so, what’s your favorite costume of all time?
Yes, I am a big fan of dressing up, not only for Halloween. I feel like I haven't put that much time and effort on it for the past few years but, I should go back to that. I think two of my favorites are oldies.
The first one would be my zombie bride costume back in 2010 (OMG), I reused a wedding dress I made back when I was studying fashion design. I made it all bloody and dirty and loved the result. I still have it but haven't worn it in ages.
The other one would be this Little Red Riding Hood costume. I wore this dress sooooo much. I remember I even wore it as a pirate costume changing and adding some accessories, but this particular one is one of the favs.
6. What is one activity or experience that is on your spooky season bucket list this year?
I want to go to more spooky attractions but they are not as common where I live. I also want to go to a graveyard, walk around, take photos and listen to scary stories while I'm there.
7. What book, series or movie screams HALLOWEEN to you?
In this case I'll focus on Halloween more than horror. Movies could be Hocus Pocus, The Witches The Nightmare Before Christmas (which is the perfect Christmas movie too), Beetlejuice, Practical Magic... you know, the classics. As for shows, I guess Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Wednesday, The Good Witch.
I'm not much of a reader but I'd love to read books that scream Halloween.
8. How do you typically spend your Halloween night?
It depends on the day so, there's not a typical way I spend it. Sometimes I have to work on that day and, if that's the case, I'd just watch some Halloween movies with seasonal snacks or drinks, other times I give away candy, last year we had a Halloween dinner so, it changes. But I always do something with my friends and family a couple of days before or after Halloween.
9. What does Halloween mean to you?
It's just my favorite time of the year! Everything feels more fun, more magical. I've always loved it but growing up was more like just a holiday and now, the older I get, the more I embrace and enjoy it because many of the things I like are related to Halloween. Plus I love to share it with people I adore, who are as enthusiastic as I am about it.

I love answering these questionnaires tags kinds of thingies so, here are are, answering the first one this year. I feel like it's a good way to learn more about others. Not that I feel people want to learn more about me but, still. You get my point.
Anyway, let's start answering the questions.
1. What are your nicknames? What do you prefer to be called?
Mon and Montse are the most common ones. I like both so, I guess I have no preference there.
2. How often do you doodle? What do your doodles look like?
I rarely do it to be honest. It only happens when I'm with my friends, they are the artsy ones and sometimes we do activities that involve drawing and doodling. I enjoy it, just don't it when I'm alone.

3. What do you do if you can’t sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and turn? Try to get up and do something productive?
Toss and turn and end up watching TV.
4. Do people consider you to be talkative or quiet?
I guess it depends. I'm usually very talkative unless I don't like the person or feel uncomfortable.
5. What makes you cry?
Some movies, songs (especially after my dad's passing), pretty words, stress and sometimes being veeeeery angry makes me cry too.
6. What is your biggest pet peeve?
This might be a silly one but I really hate it when people's noses make this whistling sound when they breathe, I even find it annoying when it happens to me. Also when people (especially guys) have nothing to say but to comment on someone's appearance.
7. How many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror?
I don't know. When I'm getting ready in the morning, need to retouch my makeup and at night while getting unready. Other than those, could be if something gets in my eye or if I want to see something in particular.
I wonder if someone actually counts how many times they do it~
8. What is the strangest thing you believed as a child?
I used to believe that everytime my bedroom window made popping noises at night, something or someone was out there. I would try not to move until it popped again, in my head, that meant whatever was outside was gone.
9. What is the guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up?
Junk food at midnight. I know it's not the healthiest option but this girl loves her midnight snacks. Also, the Xuxa Dance cassette (yes, I'm that old). Songs are good, lol. I still enjoy it.
10. Who performs the most random acts of kindness out of everyone you know?
I'd say my friend Dee Dee. She's one of the most selfless people I know. She'd always find a way to help you and cheer you up, no matter if the situation is small or a very srious one.

I've never read it really.
12. Which animal scares you the most?
I don't think there's one that scares me really, there are some I don't like (especially insects) but I wouldn't say I find them super scary.
13. Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage with it?
I think engage but I've been learning to control that better. Not like avoiding avoiding, but more like engaging only if I really have to.
14. What is the most recent compliment you’ve received?
Don't remember the exact words but, it was something about my hair looking really nice.
15. What question are you tired of hearing?
Mmm... questions related to my relationship status maybe?
16. What is the strangest thing you have eaten?
Grasshoppers. I don't think they are that weird anymore. I do like to mix certain things that might be strange for some people but, nothing too intense, haha.
17. Do you have a whole lot of acquaintances or just a few very close friends?
I think I do have a lot of acquaintances and only a few people I really consider close friends. I've always been a little selective but time has taught me not to let just anyone walk into my life.

19. What’s your all-time favourite town or city? Why?
That I have been to... defo towns and cities I visited in Spain. I fell in love with Valencia but, if I have to choose maybe Teruel and Alcalá del Jucar, they have this "straigh out from a movie" vibe.

I've wanted to change my first name since I can remember. I'd change it for Layla, I've always liked that name.

I don't remember. It's not like I never lie, but I really can't recall the last time I did.

Creative, artistic people. I feel like I'm surrounded by them and I love the different ways they express themselves.

The inventor of a drug that cures a deadly disease, I think it'd make a bigger impact and would be a lot more helpful in life.

I'd say blogging, vlogging and taking photos.

I've been told I resemble Amy Adams a couple of times. She's the only one who comes to mind, I haven't really thought about it.

Last month I shared a Fall tag and I thought it'd be a good idea to answer a Winter tag to welcome the season. It is shorter than the previous one tho. Still I hope you enjoy.

1. Top 2 Winter Beauty Essentials?
A good moisturizer for my face and hands and a lip balm. My skin and lips get SO dry this season so yeah, it is a must have. I'm not really into hand creams that much but they are defo an essential during winter.
2. Top 2 Winter Fashion Essentials?
Cute and warm coats and knee-high boots.

3. Favorite Winter Accessory?
Really long, soft scarves.
4. Favorite Winter Nail Polish?
I don't think I have a favorite one but, I usually go for dark reds or something super sparkly.
5. Hot Cocoa or Apple Cider?
Hot cocoa with marshmallows.
6. Favorite Winter Candle?
Huh~ I don't have a favorite Winter candle. I am the kind of person who lights Fall candles all year round, hehe. But I like cinnamon scents and, to me, those smell like Christmas.

Sadly, no. I love snow tho.

9. What is Your Favorite Holiday Movie?
I'm not a big Holiday movie fan and the first one that comes to my mind is The Nightmare Before Christmas. To me, it's the perfect Halloween and Xmas movie. I've watched some this month tho, most of them are recommendations from my students.
10. What’s your favorite holiday drink?
Eggnog and ponche. I look forward to drinking them every year.

13. What is most important to you about the holidays?
Good question... cuz, honestly? I'm not a religious person so, in a way, that makes me a person who just celebrates it for celebrating it, haha. When I was younger it was spending it with my family, cuz all the cousins would get together at my grandparents' and it was a lot of fun. You knew you'd meet everyone on Christmas. But, so many things changed and I guess now I'm just trying to find the magic of it again? If that makes any sense. So, I don't have an answer for this question, yet.
And, that was it! I feel like my answers were not as long or elaborated as my previous tag but, it is what it is, haha.
Long time no tag! Thing is, I recently saw someone answering this Fall tag and wanted to do it too because, even tho October and spooky season are over, it's still Fall! I'm just not ready to let go of it yet and I won't be on Christmas mode until December hits.
I am kinda late with this tag tho, it includes a couple of Halloween related questions but I'll answer them anyway, based on what I did this year.

1. What is your favorite fall drink?
Pumpkin spice latte, period! Yeah, I am the most basic Fall girl.
2. What’s one thing you love about fall?
Not only that is the beginning of spooky season but also the seasonal food and drinks, the fashion and just the whole vibe everyewhere. Everything is funnier and better in Fall.
3. What’s one thing you don’t like about fall?
Mmm... some sad things have happened during this season in the past, and even tho I'm trying not to get stuck there, it's difficult not to remember them.
4. Are you a pumpkin spice fan?
Defo! It is one of the things I look forward the most once Fall gets close.
Mostly Walmart, most of my fancier candles are usually pressies, hehe.
7. What’s your go-to fall beauty product?
I don't think I have something in particular that I like to use only during this season. I used to wear darker lipsticks but now I think I only choose darker nail polishes but, I guess that'll be it.
8. Your favorite fall accessory?
My Halloween earrings! Hehe. I think it's a very discreet way to add a Halloweeny touch to your outfits. Also, my Michael Kors handbag, it's not the most comfortable but, it's my fav bag this season.
9. What’s your typical fall outfit look like?
Well, it depends on the weather, it's very unpredictable here where I live. During October I like to wear my Halloween tees and other seasonal clothes & accessories. But I also like to wear longer skirts, boots, tights, etc. I tend to go for darker and earthy colors too. Dunno, just outfits I think are fun and cozy.

11. What’s your favorite Halloween/scary movie?
When it comes to Halloween movies, I like the spooky but fun ones that I used to watch growing up like Beetlejuice, The Witches, The Addams Family, The Nightmare Before Christmas, etc. As for horror: Shutter (Thai version), The Ring, The Others and The Omen. At least those are the ones that come to my mind rn.
12. Do you have a fall tradition?
Well, most of my Fall traditions are more like Halloween traditions. With my friends, we try to have a pumpkin carving night every year or make a small craft and try lots of seasonal or themed foods and drinks. Mom and I always go to starbucks as soon as the Fall drinks are available and I usually exchange pressies with friends and Family. Visiting the Alfeñique fair is also something I used to do with my grandpa, then with my dad and now I do it with my friends evey year. We also have some gatherings throughout the month to celebrate Halloween season.
And last year I started putting an altar on the Day of the Dead. I start on October 27th with a small one for my furry babies and then make it a little bigger on November 01st for the family. I'm no expert tho, there's still a lot I have to include.
As you can see, I take Fall and Halloween very seriously, hehe.
13. What’s your favorite fall food?
The first thing I thought about was: Pan de muerto. I just love it. I'm sure there are many good Fall foods I'm ignoring right now but, oh well~
14. What are your plans for Halloween?
Since Halloween was on a Thursday, I spent most of my day working. At night we had a family Halloween dinner with themed food, drinks, candle lights and relaxing music. It was a very nice and relaxing way to close the season.
15. Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween?
I loooove dressing up for Halloween but for some reason, I didn't do it this year! I wore lots of Halloween tees on Halloween week but, that was it!
16. What’s one thing your thankful for?
This might sound cheesy but, I'm thankful for the people around me. I feel that my relationships with some people have imrpoved a lot this year and that makes me happy. I'm constantly saying this but, I have the best people around me.
17. Halloween or Thanksgiving?
Halloween always and forever.
18. Favorite Thanksgiving food?
I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving so, I don't really have one.
19. Have you ever participated in Friendsgiving?
Nope, but now I want to. I'll try to plan it for next year, I think it's be too late to start planning it now~

1. Favorite Opening Song? Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! opening song: Sore ga ai deshou by Shimokawa Mikuni.
2. Who do you think you are most like? I can relate to different characters but, as I grow older, I've realized I am a mix between Katsuragi Misato and Rangiku Matsumoto. I love them both but I know they're far from perfect, hehe.
3. If you were in an anime with powers of any sort, what kind would you have? I think I'd like to be a witch or have some kind of power related to magic.
4. If you could live in any Studio Ghibli movie, which? Howl's Moving Castle or Kiki's Delivery Service
5. Which anime has the best food? Yuru Camp!I get soooooo hungry everytime I watch it.
6. Which anime has the best fashion?Nana & Bleach. In Nana, you can see how each character has a very unique and specific style. Everything looks cool and well designed, even the accessories they wear. And, I guess in Bleach, we can see better fashion in official illustrations more than in the amine but, still.
7. Anime BFs: There are sooooo many bfs I like so its hard to choose. Let's see~ Nana & Hachi (even tho their relationship is toxic af), Spike & Jet, Ban & Ginji (GetBackers), the inner Sailor Scouts, Orihime & Tatsuki, Hinamori & Rangiku and probs others I can't rememeber atm.
8. Favorite Neko/Animal-like character from Anime or Game? I don't really watch anime with animal-like characters... the only one I could think of is Kizna Towryk (Candidate for Goddess) because she has cat ears.
9. Favorite Dragon Character? I'm not into dragons in general but if I have to choose, I'll go with Hyorinmaru, Hitsugaya Taichou's zanpakuto (Bleach). Just because I love Hitsugaya way too much.♡
10. Favorite soldier/marine in an Anime? Sagara Sousuke (FullMetal Panic), sometimes he gets on my nerves but, his weirdness and stupidity make them cute sometimes~
11. Best Boy? It took me a while to think about it and my answer is one I didn't see coming but, Myojin Yahiko (Rurouni Kenshin). I'm not gonna lie, sometimes he can be veeeeery annoying but, I am SO proud of that boy and how strong he becomes.

12. Best Girl? Elie (Rave Master), I know she might not be the most popular one out there but she is such a funny and cute character, I really, really like her.

14. How do you choose the animes you watch? Sometimes by recommendations and others because I see a character that catches my attention. It depends.
15. What was your 1st favorite anime? Sailor Moon! And it's still one of my favorites. It'll forever have a special place in my heart.
16. Which anime made you cry the most? Nana, but I cry in almost every anime I watch. 😅
17. What was the 1st anime you ever saw? The Trapp Family, at least that's the one I remember
18. What anime do you regret watching?Diabolik lovers. It has some cute guys but, I never even finished it.
19. Which anime could have been better? Mmm... maybe not an anime but a season? For example, even tho I liked Kimetsu No Yaiba 3rd season, it wasn't my favorite. Same with Jujutsu Kaisen's (Don't kill me), the first part didn't catch my attention as much as the first season did. Something was missing.
20. Thoughts on Live-Action Adaptation? It's complicated cuz I've seen really good ones, (like the Rurouni Kenshin live action movies) but, then I kinda end up liking some that people think are bad because I love the anime way too much (FMA movies& Cowboy Beboplive action show) and then I just avoid watching others cuz I know I'll be disappointed (Shingeki no kyojin or Bleach). I guess it's hard for them to be as good as the anime but sometimes I do give them a chance.
Talking about the live action gave me a random chance to share the FMA live action automail cuz, IT IS PERFECT!
21. Been to Japan? Nope, but I'm dying to. It'd be my dream trip.
22. Who would be your best friend? I think Hanako Koyanagi & I would gt along just fine. We could fangilr over husbandos together!
23. Have you ever pretended to be in an anime? I guess I did when I was younger. It was fun!
24. Who is your favorite anime character of all time? Ah! It's difficult to choose just one! Kaname Chidori maybe? I just love her personality!
25. Favorite Male Anime Character? Another difficul one~ I feel like my favorites change from time to time. Ryoji Kaji as I'm typing this. He annoys me at times but there's something super sexy about him.
26. Fanfic? I haven't read fanfics in a loooong time but I used to love them! I especially remember FMA & RuroKen fanfics. Some of them were really good!
27. Character with best intro music? The Outer Senshi in Sailor Moon. I'm still obsessed with their intro music.
28. Who is the funniest anime character? Shin-chan (crayon Shin-chan). He is defo something~
29. Top fav Soundtracks? Oh gawd, this is a difficult one... Let's see, Full Metal Panic, Bleach, Cowboy Bebop and Nana. I love others too but mostly some openings or endings, not the whole soundtrack.
30. 1st anime crush? Chiba Mamoru from Sailor Moon.
31. Which anime was better than you thought it would be? Yuru Camp
32. Which Animes did you dislike the most? Diabolic Lovers and My Hero Academia. I only include those cuz I did watch them a little. There are others I dislike but didn't even watch. Does it make sense?
33. Favorite anime movie? Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door
34. Which Anime is your guilty pleasure? I don't think I have an anime that could be a "guilty pleasue" cuz I think I'm pretty open and ok with what I watch. Maybe instead of anime could be reading hentai-ish doujin featuring my fav anime couples? LOL. (I haven't done it in a while tho)
35. Best Anime Villain? Ulquiorra Cifer (Bleach)
36. Favorite Anime Family? Uchiha family (of course) and the Elrics. Even tho it's just the two brothers now, I love their super strong bond and love for each other.
37. Favorite 7 Deadly Sin from any anime?Lust (FMA). She's beautiful and sexy.
38. Favorite Vampire? Shido Tatsuhiko(Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective). This is such an old anime but I can say that Shido is still my #1 anime vamp.
39. Favorite Animal? This time I'll choose Plue (Rave Master) which is a dog. Yeah, a very unusual yet cute looking dog. I just think he is so adorable and love him so much.
40. Favorite Sanrio Character? Hello Kitty, Aggretsuko and My Melody.
41. Favorite Ghibli Movie?Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbors the Yamadas and Howl's Moving Castle.
42. Best fighter anime? Ikki Tousen and Tenjou Tenge. I didn't finish Ikki Tousen 3rd season but it's still pending on my to-watch list but I really enjoyed this anime. As for, Tenjou Tenge, I watched the whole show and was obsessed with it for a long while.
43. Saddest Anime Scene? Gin's death (Bleach), Kaji's death (Evangelion) and the strawberry glasses breaking scene (Nana). I'm sure there are moore but those are the ones I can think of right now.
44. Anime That Never Gets Old No Matter How Many Times You’ve ReWatched It? This is hard choice because I am someone who loves rewatching shows and to me, they all never get old, but I'll go for Nana, Evangelion, FullMetal Panic? Fumoffu! and Cowboy Bebop.
45. Favorite Supporting Male Anime Character? Then again, it's always hard to choose one cuz most of the time, I love supporting characters more than the main one and, I don't want to make this post a super duper long one. I'll go with Uchiha Sasuke because I am literally obsessed with him.
46. Favorite Supporting Female Anime Character? Misato Katsuragi. She is a great supporting character who's also very important in the main character's story and I feel like she puts everything together in a way.
47. Most Epic Scene Ever? I think most people would go for fighting scenes but, to me one of them could be Sousuke finally confessing his love for Chidori (FMP IV) or the ring scene in the Sasuke Retsuden arc.
49. Favorite Weapon? Matsumoto Rangiku's Zanpakuto, Haineko (Bleach). I know it's not the most powerful or beautiful zanpakuto but, I think that'd be the kind of weapon and relationship I'd have if I were part of the Bleach world.
50. Favorite Attack Someone Used in an Anime? This is random but, the attach Hitsugaya and Matsumoto did together during their fights in the TYBW part 2. I was so happy and excited, haha. They are such a great team.
51. Moment That Shocked You the Most in Any Anime? Many of the deaths in Shingeki No Kyojin and Yamamoto's death in Bleach
52. Saddest Anime Death? Ichimaru Gin's! I'm still not over it.

87. Favorite Scientist Character? Kisuke Urahara. According to the internet, he is a scientist and, he's also a fun, great character. Plus, he's hot!
88. Favorite Villian/Hero Ship?Spike X Vicious? I don't know if people actually ship them tho, I just don't think I have one.
