The Avengers Black Widow inspired Makeup

Hello there!
Even though The Avengers came out like a month ago, it's still everywhere! I have to say I loved The Age Of Ultron movie, I think I even liked it more than the first one!
I don't think you guys know but, Hawkeye and Black Widow are my favorite Avengers. I love how badass Natasha is! She is super sexy, beautiful and knows how to fight, who wouldn't like to be like that?

So, this time I wanted to try her makeup style, which honestly, was a little hard to check. Her makeup changes from the Iron Man movies to the Avengers. And it took me a while to figure what colors to use and stuff. Cuz if you looks at her, her makeup is not too elaborated, it's almost kinda natural! Something you can use everyday. I also noticed that from one Avengers movie to an other, her eyes change a bit, from grey-ish to brown-ish colors. Anyways, I decided to go for browns.

I should've tried this before dying my hair brown! It would've looked way better with my ginger hair~~~~ oh well...
I'm not gonna list the actuall products I used but only the colors, because everyone uses different brands and stuff so, yeah.

As usual, I started with some BB cream, then some concealer and finally some pressed powder to create an even skin and cover some red spots, dark circles and...my sick face! (I have a cold~~~)

I filled in my brows using a lighter color than my brows because she doesn't have super strong brows, but they are a little thicker than mine.

* Eyes

I used the first color as the base appying it on the eyelids. It doesn't look as shimmery once you apply it. The second color which is a peachy beige goes on the mobile eyelid and the last color, the dark brown was applied on the crease, from the outer corner of the eye to the middle of my eye. I also applied some of this brown shadow on the outer 3rd of my lower lash line, as close to my lashes as possible and kinda winged it out a little, blending it to make it softer.
As you see, I used colors from different palettes.

Once I was done with the eye shadow I applied some black eyeliner, drawing a super thin line starting a little far from the inner corner of my eye. I didn't really winged it out. Then some black mascara only on my upper lashes. She doesn't have that super long lashes look so, 1 coat was more than enough.

* Lips

Scarlett Johansson has beautiful super voluptuous lips, so to kinda create that effect I used a creamy nude lipstick as a base to make my lips look fuller, outlining them with a brush. And then, on top of that I applied a soft pink lipstick that has a slight plumping effect. I mean, they might not look as good as hers but, it does the job! hehe.

* Cheeks

I don't really contour my face ever, but this time I used a bronzer on my cheekbones to define that line, and applied some pink blush on the apples of my cheeks.

So this is my version of Black Widow's makeup on The Avengers The Age Of Ultron. Some friends and people I know have suggested me to cosplay as her so, I definitely will someday!
And here are a few more photos...sorry for the spam!!

after soooo many serious faces, here's a different one! Not too Black Widow-ish tho!

I really hope you guys liked this inspired look, let me know if you want me to try other character's makeup or a certain look.

XOX
Nat!

My May Favorites!

Hello lovelies!
It is the end of another month again! So fast, it didn't hit me until a few days ago. June is basically here! The month of the b-day! Oh my~ I'll be a year older in just a few days...

Anyways, here are my favorites for the month of May:

Makeup & Body Products

I've been loving the lipstick that came in the last package from Spain we got from Omma and Jose. MATE Deliplus Colors 09. It is a hot pink color but once you apply it it is not as dark as it looks. This has been mostly my everyday lipstick this month, I've worn it as a dark pink applying more than one coat, a soft pink and even creating a gradient look.

On my last visit to Missha, I noticed that so many things were 2X1. My dad was looking for some things to buy as gifts and he got a body mist, that was 2X1 as well. I really liked the Vanilla scent and I trade one of the products from my Missha box for one of the body lotions. It is the DreamLike Vanilla Body Mist and it smells sooooooooo good! I like sweet scents so, yeah. I just wish the smell could last a little longer~

Lately, I haven't been wearing a lot of nail polish, mainly because I'm too lazy to do my nails and because doing housework makes my nail polish crack faster. BUT! I fell for this green-ish polish from Kim Taylor called "Pistacho" (KT05) I think it's a perfect color for Spring!

Shoes

At the end of April I bought this super beautiful Oxford style booties and I've been absolutely in love with them ever since. I think the design is original, I can wear them with almost everything and they are super comfortable. These were on sale but, they were not that cheap,I still think it was a smart buy and deffo worth it.

Food

It's been a while since I started including yogurt to my everyday diet as a healthy snak around 5pm and I just recently tried Coconut yogurt just because I was curious. I didn't thought I would've like it so much! It was better than expected! It's been the only flavor I've had for the past month. Still not tired of it.

 Random

My chalkboard cup! I remember seeing DYIs on how to make these cute cups but as usual, I never got the time to try mking one. So my sis was kind enough to give me one and got another for herself. Even though it looks kinda simple, the speech bubble makes it so fun and cute! I like how I can write or draw whatever I want on it! I can even match it with my thoughts, mood, etc.

excuse my ugly letter~~~ hehe
Music

These are 2 albums I've been obsessing with this month, they are always on repeat on my phone.

Rainbow INNOCENT: This is not a new release, but I started loving it until this month. It was released on February but, you know how sometimes you download a ton of music but never get the chance to listen to it until one day when you decide to finally do it and end up loving the whole album? That happened to me! This album is really good!

TRACKLIST:
1. 나쁜 남자가 운다 (Bad Man Crying)
2. Black Swan
3. Mr. Lee
4. Pierrot
5. Privacy
6. 조금 더 (A little more)

Favorite tracks: Black Swan, Pierrot and Some More.

Miss A COLORS: It felt like forever for Miss A to have a comeback! They are one of my favorite groups so I'm reaaaally happy they are back with a great album!! Released on March 29th.

TRACKLIST:
1. 한걸음 (One Step)
2. 다른 남자 말고 너 (Only U)
3. Love Song
4. 녹아 (Melting)
5. I caught Ya
6. Stuck

Favorite tracks: Only U and Stuck.

And I think that isit for this month! What albums have you been into this month?

Pistacho Nails

Hello everyone!
I can't remember the last time I wore nail polish~~~ I still love it but I guess since I don't have as much free time as I used to, thinking what to wear on my nails doesn't look too important now.
The last "green" nail polish I bought didn't made me 100% happy, it looked more like a yellow-ish neon color once it dried, and even though this one looks a little too similar to that last one, it has a much more subtle yellow tone to it.

It's Kim Taylor KT05 "Pistacho" and I loved it from the moment I saw it. I think it's a bright but pretty color for Spring. I also wanted a color I could wear along with my latest Missha nail polish "The Style Dazzling Nail Polish" (A21M01)

So, this is what I'm currently wearing on my nails, nothing too elaborated. I usually like to apply a glittery polish on my ring fingers and use another color on the rest of my fingers. Nothing too complicated.

I feel like I've finally found the perfect green color for my nails! Hehe.

Teacher's Day + Gifts!

Hi guys!
Last Friday we celebrated Teacher's Day! As every year, we got together for a nice meal, relaxing time and fun chats.

I know I've said it before but, I'm so lucky to work with a great group of people who are always supportive, friendly and I can keep learning from them. We've gone through a long journey since I started working there and I'm very thankful for everything.

Through all these years I've been working as a teacher, I've learnt a lot! And I think it has changed me a lot for the best. I know I have a lot to learn still but, that is the fun part! Not every day is the same when you work with kids, they are all different, fun, exhausting and very rewarding.

If you wanna read how my job has changed me make sure to click here! Hehe.
So I wanna wish a happy Teacher's day (even if it's a little late now) to every teacher out there! Especially to those who were my teachers, and the teachers I love and adore such as teacher friends and family. BIG CONGRATS because this is not an easy job, but I know it is one of the most challenging and beautiful ones. WE ROCK! Hehe.

Ok, moving on to the Teacher's day gifts! It's so cute how I started recieving them one day earlier! Thank you to all the parents and my kids for the lovely deets! I love them from the bottom of my heart!♥

YUMMIES

GOODIES

Not only I recieved gifts from school people but also from my dad and my friend, so big thank you to them too!! Some of the food stuff is not there anymore because...yeah, I ate it. Bwahaha!

This year we didn't took a group pic...BOO!

Heart-to-heart: True Friends

Hello babies!
Long time no heart-to-heart posts! Because honestly, I wasn't really inspired of sure of what I wanted to talk about but, this morning I was doing some random kind of thinking about how lucky I am to have great friends with me and how happy I am to see them doing great things with their lives.

I guess it comes a time in life when you just /have/ to realize who your real friends are and the kind of people you want to have around you. I'm not trying to sound like I'm judging or making stereotypes or whatever. I think you guys would know what I mean.

I think it's sad to see how people sometimes just focus on being popular and be surrouded by a BIG group of people you have absolutely nothing in common with, than just "having fun" but nothing deeper than that. As if being the center of attention was the most important thing.
Ok, I know we all go throught that "I wanna be popular" stage in our lives but c'mon! I'd understand that if you're in high school and still, I would tell you to look for the right kind of people, honest, real and people you can trust and count on. And I'm saying this because I've met people like this, I've been close to people who would do things to be liked by people even if it doesn't make them feel
any good.
Talking about school... I was never the popular type~ YES I wanted to be but, guess it wasn't for me. On my first years of high school I met a lot of new people, I was pretty much one of the few new girls, everyone knew each other and I was pretty shy. I made some friends and one really good friend, we were kinda opposites but we got along really well. She was like the smart girl and I was the...
well... Usagi Tsukino type of girl. Hehe.
But for whatever reason eventually, we just took separate ways.
Then on my 3rd year of high school I started this "I don't know where I belong"stage and even though I had friends, I didn't really felt like I fitted there. And I think that went on for a long time!
I've met a lot of nice people I could hang out with and talk and all that but through my school years, a
lot of people I used to call friends, came into my life and then left. It is hard to understand why people leave like that but, I believe it is for a reason. You learn something from the people you meet. And maybe once whatever needs to happen happens, they just leave. I don't know if I'm making any sense right now.
I also think that, it comes a time in our lives when you gotta be around people who are in the same stage you're at, I mean, you can't be someone who has plans, dreams and aspirations and surround yourself by people who have no aspirations in life, who still think they can live like teenagers and have no responsabilities.
I know that can make me sound like a mother or whatever but, I've been there, and when that moment comes that people needs to go or you'll be dragged by them and won't be able to move forward.

I don't want to make this post any longer than it already is so, I feel like I'm in a moment where I know who my real friends are. It took me a long time and so many goodbyes. But even though I'm not the most popular person out there, I know I have people who truly care about me. It doesn't matter if we don't see each other everyday, if we don't live in the same city or even if we haven't seen each other in years. You just know who those people are, you just know you fit and feel comfortable around them. They know I am here for them as they are for me.
And of course, I have those BFFs that are always with me through good times, laughs and fun moments and also in sad and rough times. We cheer each other up, always give an advice, listen, take care and just love each other as sisters.
I couldn't ask for better friends! ♥

I know more people will come and go in my life and in your lives. Let's just remember to always cherish those people we get to call friends,
Even if it's just one! It's always better to have that one sincere person than a bunch of fakes. Hehe.d...
So, to finish this post, to me TRUE FRIENDS are those who will always be there for you, no matter how good or bad a situation can be, those who will always be honest with you, they will celebrate your achievements and let you know the things you did wrong. People who will always have an advice or wise words when you need it...I could go on but, you get my point, yeah?

And...this is the time where I say goodbye! Hope I didn't made this all confusing because of all that
crazy writing! Hehe.

Life Update: Wedding talk, work and... so proud of my girls!

Hello lovelies! It's that time again, when I make a quick update on what has been going on in my life.
I feel like nothing TOO important happened in the past few months~ I've been way too busy with work and life in general that these months have literally gone by in a blink of an eye.

One thing that really got me all excited is my cousin's wedding! She's getting married this June (so close now!) in Canada. I would loooove to be there on her special day. Sadly I don't think it will be possible due to my work. But I did had a nice chat with her about her wedding plans, dresses and her beautiful little family! Definitely makes me daydream about planning my own wedding and starting a family soon!
I wish her and her hubby-to-be the best and a super happy life together. ♥ And even though I won't make it to the wedding, I'll do my best to visit sometime soon.
Damn you work! Hehe

Speaking of work, these next 3 months will be the craziest! The end of the school year is getting closer!! Lots of work to do, things to finish and...my worst nightmare... "open clases" I don't know if that's the exact name of these type of classes where the parents come into one of your "regular classes" to see  your work and basically work with their kids. Maybe it doesn't sound too bad but it really stresses me to have people kinda judging what I do~ Last year I had a very bad Panic attack due to stress before those classes. I'm trying to stay as relaxed as possible this year. We'll see how that goes.

Oh! I also want to tell you guys,my sister is working on a few projects I'll be sharing with you soon! It pretty much started at Expo MAGyC last month. It  all looks interesting so, yeah! More coming soon... Also, my good friend Keisha just got her degree! YAY! We couldn't be happier for her! I love to see how my girls are making their dreams come true! Feels great to be part of that in every step.
I am really proud of them all and I know there is a lot more to come for the 3 of you! (and us! Hehe)

Now that I mentioned Expo MAGyC, I cosplayed again! After a LONG time! And it's not like I always do it but I have a lot of fun when I get the chance to do it.
I don't even think of myself as a cosplayer, I just do it for fun. I'm sure you guys saw my Petra Ral costume in older posts. (click here to read it) It wasn't all perfect, I wanted to have lighter hair but it was just impossible to get a strawberry blonde hair in like two days with no time to go to the salon and get some help. I'm usually very picky when I dress up! I want everything to look perfect! And...I wasn't happy with my hair but...oh well! I'll do better next time!I was happy wearing my Scouting Legion uniform and I saw a lot of familiar faces and friends I didn't saw in a while.
Happy happy!

Something that is prettttttty obvious is that i had a haircut! It was like 3 weeks ago but, I forgot to update you all and make a post on it~ Would you still want to read about my haircut and the story behind it? Hehe.

We recieved a package from Spain a few weeks ago! It's the second one! I have a whole post about it in case you wanna check it out. I've noticed you guys really like all my Spain related posts btw! A lot of love for my Omma and Jose! More to come soon!

Thank you for all those who are following my weekly vlogs! Once I reach 20 subscribers, I want to make a mini giveaway to show you how thankful I am towards you all. (I know for some vloggers 20 subscribers aren't much but to me it means the world! Hehe) So, stay tuned!
Wanna check my YouTube?--> MonStar's Little Vlog <--

Can't forget to say Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful moms who celebrated their day yesterday. It was my first year away from my mom. We did called her and all that but, its not the same. Hopefully we'll be able to celebrate soon! Along with birthdays and other things we've missed this year.

And~~~~~ I think this will be it for now!! If I think of something else, I'll save it
for the next update! Sorry if everything was a little random!
