Mask Monday: Natural Care Cosmetic Series ☾ Moon Collection

Long time no Sailor Moon post! 

Not long ago, I found these sheet masks in the most unexpected store downtown. I was surprised and excited and, of course, I had to get all of them! (At least the ones they had).

They are called "Moon Collection" and they are obviously inspired by Sailor Moon, I remember they also had a "Princess Collection" that, if I remember correctly, was inspired by Disney Princesses.

These were all the SM inspired masks they had, it was weird not to see a Sailor Moon or even Luna mask tho.

I couldn't find much about the brand online. Apparently these masks are designed in Korean and made in China. Idk. They have many more cute sheet masks tho.

The presentation is kinda cute even if the Scouts look a bitsy bit funny. The Artemis, brooch and Moon stick ones have to be my favs, they are really pretty.

All of the masks have a different purpose and ingredients so, let's check them out!

The transformation brooch mask is a hydrating mask with vitamins A (formation and regeneration of cells, repairs damaged cells and improves the condition and appearance of the skin.), B1 (provides hydration and protection against external agents. Plus, it stimulates cell renewal, improving healing capacity.) and B3 (reduces congestion, brightens skin, and gives you a more even tone. also helps repair and restore skin by minimizing water loss. It's also known for leaving skin soft and smooth). 

Sailor Mercury's is a detox mask.

Sailor Mars' is for a glowing effect with vitamins A (formation and regeneration of cells, repairs damaged cells and improves the condition and appearance of the skin.), B (Anti-aging, reduces water loss and moisturizes skin) and E (antioxidant, prevents skin damage and  controls skin aging).

Sailor Jupiter's is an anti-acne mask with antioxidants and vitamins B6 (preventive function, it is involved in the long-term regulation of oily and sensitive skin) and E (antioxidant, prevents skin damage and  controls skin aging).).

Sailor Venus' is a purifying mask with biotin and vitamins ZN (has anti-inflammatory properties) and B7 (prevents skin problems such as dermatitis, it can regenerate tissues. Promotes elasticity and hydration).

Cute Artemis' is a nutrition mask with vitamins A(formation and regeneration of cells, repairs damaged cells and improves the condition and appearance of the skin.) and B9 (essential in the process of cell renewal, reinforcing the density of the skin. Helps skin to look young and healthy).

The Moon Stick is a collagen mask

Since I bought many masks, I gave some away to my friends (I gave them their fav Scout) and my mom. 

The masks I've tried don't have a scent at all, they do come soaked in product which is very watery and non-sticky.

I was a little worried I would get a reaction after trying them (mostly because they were suuuuuuuuuuper cheap) but, I didn't! They actually worked well. Not the best masks out there but they did the job. My skin felt soft after using them but not super hydrated. 

I didn't have high expectations with them so, I'm not dissapointed. It was fun to get them and give some to other people. I might buy more in the future just because they are cute! Hehe.

Mask Monday: TonyMoly Nourishing I'm Honey Mask Sheet

 TonyMoly has to be one of my favorite K-beauty brands. Not only because most of their products are super cute, but also because the have great quality for a reasonable price. 

Their facemasks are just great! You can defo see a difference when you use them even on the next day. After a couple of stressfu and super busy weeks, I decided to use this Nourishing I'm Honey Mask Sheet that I received back in June as a part of my bday pressies to treat my skin.

As the name says, it contains Honey that helps nourish tired skin, leaving your skin hydrated, soft and with a healthy glow. This masks come with a lot of product, it is watery but slightly thick and it absorbs quickly.

It has a very sublte but nice honey scent, which is perfect if you're not a fan of strong scents.

I've always had a good experience with TonyMoly masks in general, they are gentle and never irritate my sensitive skin.

Tired teacher face but fresh skin after the mask.☆ LOL

Mask Monday: Hayan K-Beauty Cherry Essense Mask Sheet 🍒

Two Mask Mondays in a month~ that doesn't happen too often! Hehe.

Today I wanna show you a very cute facemask from Hayan K-Beauty Skincare. Which is a mexican brand, made in Korea. It is my first time trying one of their products and it was thanks to my bestie Ceci that I knew about it cuz, she was the one who gave me this mask. We all know how much I love korean skincare.

It is the Cherry Essense Mask Sheet 🍒 with cherry essense that works as an anti-aging because of the antioxidants, it also contains vitamin A that improves the cell production for a healthy skin.

The packaging of this mask is super cute with bright colors and the smell is just delicious! It reminds me of Tutsi Pops. I could eat it! Hehe.

Honestly, the mask works really well. It comes with a lot of serum and it absorbs quickly leaving your skin super soft and bright, even on the next day. From what I read, the sheet is made of TENCEL fabric, which makes it very soft and ecofriendly. Plus, the size of the mask isn't as big as other korean mask, that's a big yay for me.

On their website you can find many more skin care products with cute packaging and they are actually pretty affordable! I'll defo buy more products in the future!

Mask Monday: ☾ Love Luxe Beauty Sailor Moon Sheet Masks

As a big Sailor Moon fan, I'm really excited to share these with you guys! 

I recieved many of these masks last Christmas because, my friends know me well. You all know anything Sailor Moon, official or not, is a must have for me. I even got doubles so, happy Mon is happy.

Years ago, I saw the Japanese Sailor Moon masks online and really wanted them but didn't get the chance to. Those were the ones with the actual faces on the mask and I believe they were official mech. I could be wrong tho.

Last year tho, many Chinese brands came up with Sailor Moon makeup and beauty products. I didn't buy anything but I knew about them thanks to the internet. I saw eyeshadows, eyeliners, eye lashes and so on. I guess after ColourPop released the SM collection, others wanted to try too.

So, these masks are from a brand called Love Luxe Beauty, a Chinese brand I haven't tried before. From what I saw online, they have pretty cute things.

The SM masks feature the inner scouts, including Chibi Moon. I got all of them but Mars, which is ok, I can live without her, hehe.

Each Scout has a different fruit but they all of them claim to hydrate, nourish and repair the skin. They also say they include "acid" which I believe stands for hyaluronic acid. The translation is a bit funny. Venus' is a milk mask, and it's the only different one.

They are all pretty and bright with a chibi version of the Scouts and their representative colors. Their tiaras are a little different tho but they are all really cute.

Sailor Moon's is all pretty in pink and it is a strawberry mask.

Sailor Chibi Moon's is pink and mint green and it is a peach mask.

Sailor Mercury's is all blue, of course. It is a cranberry mask. (Fun fact: there's a Card Captor Sakura wand there! hehe)

Sailor Jupiter's is green with more green and this one is an avocado mask.

Sailor Venus' is an orange, orange mask! This is a different one tho, it says it's a VC & Milk mask.

Of course I haven't tried them all but, this what I've noticed so far; these masks are plain white and even tho they have a specific fruit on each of them, they have no scent at all, which was slightly disappointing cuz most of them sounded really good. They come soaked in product and they are actually hydrating. I liked the fact that they didn't irritate my skin or gave me any weird reaction. The serum absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feeling.

I wouldn't say they are the best ones out there but they are good for hydration, leaving your skin smooth and with a healthy glow even on the next day.

I think these can be found online and it's defo a fun thing to have if you love Sailor Moon too. 

Mask Monday: Fresh To Go Pumpkin Mask Sheet

It's spooky season so I thought this mask would be perfect! I randomly found it a while ago and wanted to save it for October, then I realized this was an exact copy of the TonyMoly Fresh to go masks~ Oh well.

I find the presentation really cute and Fall like, the mask came soaked in the product but sadly, it didn't have any scent. I was reaaally looking forward to that.

It may not have the same quality as a ToyMoly mask but, it worked just fine. It hydrated my skin and left it glowy and soft.

It had been a while since I last had the chance to use a facemask to have a little relaxing break so, I was happy with it, especially for the price I paid, heehee.

Mask Monday: LuLuLun Refreshing White Sheet Mask

After using LuLuLun facemasks, I can see why it is on of the most popular facemasks in Japan. Today we have the white sheet masks which are for a clear and translucent skin. Again, it is a 7 day pack so, you can use it everyday for a glowy and healthy look.

It contains Elderflower extract which is rich in vitamins, to give your skin a firm texture. The formula is very watery, not sticky at all and has a very subltle, fresh scent. Just like the others I've tried.

I don't wear then everyday everyday tho, it's more like every 2 days, at night. I do see a difference on my skin when I use them constantly, it looks healthier and more hydrated even on the next day. The quality of these masks (including the other 2 I've used) is really, really good.

I've mentioned this with my bestie before because we like to try different types and brands of face masks with different price ranges; it does make a difference when you use higher quality products.

I didn't change my skincare at all and they worked really well together.

I want to thank my friend Tomi again for introducing me and giving me the chance to try these masks. I'm in love now! 

I'll defo try to find and buy more LuLuLun products in the future.

Mask Monday: LuLuLun Hydrating Blue Face Mask

Today we have more Japanese sheet masks from LULULUN! 

This time is the LULULUN Hydrating Blue Face Mask. It also came in a pack of 7 masks, perfect for a week worth of masks. It is made for daily use and what I like about the packaging is that you can seal it after each use to keep the product clean and soaked in product. 

As the previous LULULUN masks I tried, they come with a lot of serum and a sublte scent. The formula is very watery and not sticky at all. 

It is meant for intensive hydrating care, containing cactus extract to calm sensitive, dry and damaged skin. It also contains isomerized sugar, which helps to maintain the skin's moisture balance. I think it's great for all skin types.

I didn't use them every day, it was more like 3 times a week but, my skin felt so soft and hydrated and looked glowy after using them. 

I think I keep mentioning this but, I find the size of these masks more suitable for my face. Other brands tend to make them much bigger. They are also made with 3 layers: the one in the middle holds the essence, and the other two distribute it into the skin.

Mask Monday: Naisture Sheet Masks

Long time no Mask Monday! Today I wanna share some Korean sheet masks I found in a Canadian Dollar store, the brand is called Naisture and it's my first time seeing them and trying their products.

Naisture comes from the words: Natural + Moisture= Naisture.

I could only find these 2 types but they did have a big variety of masks for different purposes. Checking their instagram account, they have many more different lines of sheet masks. 

I kept 2 and gave the other 2 to my bestie because, we love trying new facemasks.

The ones I tried were:

Naisture Just in 15 Min Sheet Mask with Dragon Fruit

This one has anti-aging and anti-oxidant benefits to improve elasticity. It claims to give you a hydrated, firm and glowing skin.

I'm not too familiar with dragon fruit so I don't really know the smell of it but, this mask smells kinda sweet and delicious. It reminds me of something but, I'm not too sure what. (Not dragon fruit tho...)

This may not be too important but I loved the way the directions were presented on this particular mask. The little pics and the "tip" are just too cute!

Another random thing I noticed is that the sheet mask came with a pattern! LOL. It was still made out of that cotton material thing (I think it's cotton?) but it had details to it. It was nice.

It says it doesn't contain sulfates, silicones or parabens (had to google that last one). Even tho the formula is watery I found it slightly thick but not sticky at all. It absobed into my skin nicely.

After using this mask, my skin felt hydrated and soft and I woke up to a glowy looking skin.

15 Minutes Mask Pack in Lovely Strawberry

I think this one was the one I was more excited about. It also has a watery formula, not thick or sticky. It absobs quickly and the skin feels fresh and hydrated after using it. Its main purpose is oil control, so it's perfect for oily to combination skin.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it doesn't smell like strawberries!! It actually has no scent at all~~~~~

I do want to mention both masks were not as big as other korean masks I've tried, which is nice! Both of them were gentle to my skin and even tho they are not the best ones I've ever tried, I liked them. I think they do the job for a very good price. they are great when you want to pamper yourself on a budget. 

I kinda want to try the others they have.

Mask Monday: DERMAL Collagen Essence Mask

"Skin confidence with DERMAL makes you beautiful and healthy"

These masks were the first ones I tried when I was starting to get into the whole K-beauty world. They have a special place in my heart, hehe.

I believe there are older posts where I mention them but, yeah. I was pretty much talking about how to use sheet masks...

Dermal is a Korean brand that focuses on facemasks and skincare products using "effective and safe" ingredients to help balance the ph and improve your skin.

Even tho they are Korean, each mask has the mask target in english, making it easy for you to choose, depending on what you're looking for or what your skin needs. They have a large variety! I've tried some of them but, defo not all. 

What I like the most about them is that they are made for all skin types and are gentle to my super sensitive skin. They never give me any reaction! And my skin looks and feels extra hydrated after using them.

Today, I'm only going to focus on the 3 I currently have:

Green Tea Collagen Mask: (Firming, moisturizing and health)

It helps to protect the skin. Green Tea extract works as an anti-oxidant and helps to protect skin from environmental damage. It leaves your skin feeling soft, refreshed, hydrated and healthy looking.

Apricot Collagen Mask: (Moisturizing, firming and brightening)

Apricot Extract is good for sensitive, dry and irritated skin. It contains vitamin A & C. It gives you hydration and keeps the skin moist and elastic.

Bamboo Collagen Mask: (Moisturizing, refining and firming)

Bamboo extract protects the skin and gives dry skin the moisture it needs. This mask also contains vitamin E and collagen.

They are all super moisturizing, the formula is not sticky at all and they scent is very subtle. To me they all smell the same tho~~~ Idk, maybe it's just me.

I think I've mentioned it before but, most Korean sheet masks tend to be super big! Dunno why! But still, they do the job.

Mask Monday: LULULUN Balance Moisture Face Mask

Hello dollies! Today we have Japanese facemasks from LULULUN. It is my first time trying them and it is one of the 3 packages I recieve from this brand. Apparently these are one of the best-selling masks in Japan and yeah, I've read and seen many good comments about them. I'm happy to finally try them.

The LULULUN Balance Moisture Face Mask comes in pack of 7 sheet masks, perfect for a week worth of masks. I just love it when they sell them like this. Plus, the presentation is super cute.

This one claims to nourish dry skin, balancing moisture levels and apparenty, each package contains the equivalent of 4 bottles of serum with ingredients like: Hyaluronic Acid, acacia honey, rice ceramide and gingseng root.

It is free from artificial colors and mineral oils. They have a very subtle scent and the formula is not sticky at all, which is really nice. It absorbs really fast leaving my skin soft, hydrated and with a healthy glow.

Something I've noticed is that Japanese sheet masks are smaller than the Korean ones which makes them a lot easier and more comfortable to use. 

I've been really liking these masks and I can't wait to try the others!

Mask Monday: Attack on Titan Kyojin Face Pack | #Beruani

I am super duper excited to share these with you guys cuz I wanted to try them since they came out in Japan long time ago. I want to thank my friend Tomi for sending them. I think they are fun masks to try this month.

You know I love SNK and even tho, titans are no good, these two are defo my favorites. It’s funny how my opinion about them changed as the story went on.

Ok! Where to begin?! I find the presentation and packaging worth mentioning because it has all the SNK vibes going on. It comes with two mask feat. The Colossal Titan and The Female Titan. It’d be fun to try with a significant other. You know, titan power couple, haha.

Once you unfold the package you’ll find information about both of the titans and the story of the show along with some cool pics from the manga. I’ll keep this as a poster thingy, it’s too cool and it’s licensed.

So, both masks have the actual faces of the titans, but aside from the cool looks, they also contain good ingedients such as glycerol, hydrolized collagen and vitamin C to help the skin. It's a win - win thing!

Description: "Refresh your kin and mind. A facepack printed with pattern of The Colossus Titan's face and The Female's titan face, have fun while you attent to your beauty. Three beauty ingredients moistre your skin, leaving it firm and lustrous. Lavender fragrance brings comfort to your body and mind."

As mentioned, they both have a lavender scent and a slightly oily and sticky formula. You can defo feel a very soft and hydrated skin after using them tho. Even a day later, you can still see a healthy glow.

And now, let's just check the masks cuz they are very well made. They look better than costumes! Hehe.

Colossal Titan

Not my most flattering, but the mask is worth it.

Female Titan

All in all, and ignoring that fact that I’m a fan, I really liked these masks. The quality is really good and you do see results after using them. Something I also have to mention is that they were not as big as other sheet masks, I liked that.
