Out & About | Mexicráneos: Skull expo in Reforma |

As a part of the celebration of The Day of the Dead, there was a big skulls expo in Reforma. And I say was because apparently Nov. 10th was the last day.

This event had over 53 decorated skulls, designed by different artists. Each skull represented some mexican traditions including food and nature among others.

I got the chance to go back in October with two of my best friends and even tho we walked a lot it was a very fun experience. Reforma itself is a nice place to walk in, there's a lot to see! And since the day of the dead was around the corner, there were so many people from different countries visiting, as well as many people selling handmade crafts.

Here are some of the Skulls we saw and liked. We couldn't see all of them because we didn't have much time and we wanted to do a little shopping too, but we really enjoyed out time there.

Love doodles

Here's a lovely pic for a Monday morning.
My sister Mayis started making Doodles. To be honest I had no idea they where called like that but she made this cute one for me. It's my love and I holding this red string. (I don't know if you know about this Japanese legend(?) "Red String of fate" it's totally cute and this drawing is pretty much inspired on it. Plus, Sean is part Japanese so yeah, absolutely adorable.)

 It just makes me smile.

Zombie love art

Hi lovelies!

My sister (who also made the Freddy Krueger drawing) just gave me this lovely Zombie drawing of the boyfriend and I. I'm definitely in love with it and can't wait to put it on a frame and hang it in my room. It's too perfect!

Beautiful Nightmare

Most people know I'm a huge horror movies fan, I love everything creepy related! And yeah, I became a Freddy Krueger fan.
This drawing was part of my bday gift from my talented sister Mayis, two years ago. It is one of my fave gifts ever! It's cool to "be" part of one of my oh so loved Horror movies!

Should I never sleep again? xx
