Spain MakeUp & Beauty Haul #1

Hello from a very windy Spain!

I feel like I haven't been blogging as much as I wanted to lately cuz even tho I have a lot I want to share, I don't exactly have enough time to sit down and write about it.

As expected, I already got a few makeup & beauty products as well as others I got as gifts when I arrived here. There are a few brands I tried because of my mom and now I finally have the chance to see them and try more of them as we explore the stores.
First things first, the day I arrived here I got a cute golden box from Women'Secret as a welcoming gift. It is the Gold Seduction perfume & body lotion set and I have to say it is really pretty to look at. The scent of both is sweet; it opens with a fresh and deliciously fruity top note built around citrics and red fruit. It has sweet and woody notes... (as described on the box) so yeah, sweet to me. Lol.
The perfume has little glitters in it which makes it look really princess-y(?) and I love that. I assuming the cream will be like that too. Haven't opened it yet. I still haven't had the chance to visit the Women'Secret store but I have another perfume back home and I really like it. The durability of the scent is pretty good and yeah, the whole concept is super pretty.

Another product that was already waiting for me was the Básicos Germinal Micellar Water. I already have a full post on it because yeah... I love it. Click here to read more.

Next is the Gold Progress 24K Day Cream from Deliplus. At first I thought it was not hydrating enough but as I kept on using it I started to like it. It absorbs really, really fast and it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or looking oily. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin tho~

Moving on to I❤MAKEUP, which I was really looking forward to check out because I really liked the lipsticks I tried before coming to Spain. Thye have pretty cute products that kinda remind me to the Too Faced ones but, a lot cheaper. From what I've seen, it is a British brand.

First we have the Lip Geek lippie in "Total Diva" (FPG01). At first it looks like a red color but once you apply it, it has a orange-ish tone to it. Thing is, this lippies are very creamy but are not way too pigmented so you can build up the color as you like.

Another one from this brand is the Lip Lava Liquid Lipstick in "Tremor". I got really excited when I saw it because I remember one of my favorite youtubers tried something similar and she loved it so I decided to get one just to try it. They have like 4 or 5 more colors.
Lip Lava is a super intense liquid lipstic formula with nourishing Vitamin E.
After using it a couple of times I can say the color is really pretty, pigmented, the applicator is ok, not messy, durability is good but, since my lips are too dry most of the time and especially now because of the cold, the color sets on those chapped lines at some point... lip balm required before applying if your lips are like mine.

Next is a Nail Polish from Essence. It is The Gel Nail Polish in "My Sparkling Darling" (86). It is such a beautiful glitter nail polish, I just couldn't resist. I don't have Essence back home and they have a ton of makeup products, really nice colors and it's pretty cheap! There are more colors like this one and I kinda feel I'll end up getting a few more.

That same day I got the nail polish I found this super cute beauty blender (or so I thought it was a beauty blender) that turned out to be a silisponge/beauty blender. So...yeah. We'll see how it works cuz my experience with silisponge wasn't all that great. This one is called Better Glowy and it's from Barcelona. I liked it because it has...glitter and...it's pink. The texture is different than the silisponge tho, it is a lot softer so I'm hoping I'll like it more.

We're almost done, I promise. From Deliplus Color, we have the Geisha lipstick with a sponge blending tip in "Rojo Intenso" (03). This is a brand you can only find in Mercadona, which is a supermarket. The Geisha line has other 4 lippie colors and mascaras. It is my first time tryin a lipstick with the sponge tip and I teally liked it. It has a matte finish and the durability is great. It said Geisha, I had to have it!

And lastly, is a Flor De Mayo Vasceline Lip Balm. We found this one in a supermarket (Consum) and they had like 5 different scents, I picked the Vanilla Cake one and my mom got a rasperry one I think. I believe Flor de Mayo is a local brand (Valencia) and I noticed they have other products there such as perfumes, they all look really cute. I've been using it a lot lately because even tho my lips are super dry all the time, it's getting worse with this cold weather!

And that is it (I think), at least for now. Let me know if you'd like to read more about a certain product or where to find them and stuff.
I'm still trying to put some other blogs together as well, I just am all over the place so, bare with my guys!!

Until next haul! xx

Micellar Water: What is it? My experience with it and...is it magical?

Hello dollies!

Micellar Water has become really popular but I never really took the time to try it until recently, when my mom brought some from Spain and yeah, she was raving about it so, I gave it a try...

First of all, what is Micellar water and what's it supposed to do?
Micellar water claims to be a super effective makeup remover and cleanser. It doesn't contain any soap or oils. It's supposed to be super light and gentle to your skin. Apparently there is no need to include any other cleanser or toner on your cleansing routine.

Since it is so popular now, there are sooooo many brands that came up with their own micellar water so, there is a lot to choose from.

The one I've been using is the Básicos Germinal Micellar Water. This is a Spanish brand that it's still pretty new to me. (I'll link their site here if you wanna check it out.)

It claims to:
Effectively remove even waterproof makeup, leaving a fresh and hydrated skin after using it.

♥ Removes waterproof makeup
♥ Works on all skin types
♥ Has no perfume/scent to it
♥ It's dermatologically tested

How to use it?
Use a cotton pad soaked in the product to remove your makeup.
After using it, you don't have to rinse or double cleanse your skin so you can let the product's properties work on your skin.

Does it work and do I like it?
Yes!
I've been using it every night for almost a month now and to be honest, I've been loving it. To start with, it's gentle to my super sensitive skin. It completely removes my makeup (even waterproof) leaving my skin feeling soft, clean and hydrated. (and not oily at all) I like the fact that it doesn't have any scent to it and, you don't need to use a lot of product for it to work properly.
It's been a part of my night routine. After removing my makeup I only apply some eye cream and a night cream.
The next day my skin has this natural glow to it and I've noticed my blemishes and pimples are not as bad as they used to since I started using it.
Yes, it is magical water! 🌟

Here is a little example of how my skin looks after removing my makeup using the micellar water. I didn't use anything else to remove it.

My makeup at the end of the day. Not really nice looking anymore but I wanted to picure it as close to reality as possible.

No makeup face after cleansing it with a cotton pad soaked in micellar water. It completely removes my makeup and I like how fresh and clean my skin looks.

I guess it's differet for everyone but I can totally see why people have been loving this product. I highly recommend you girls to give it a chance.
And since I love to test products, I'll try some other brands' micellar water to compare and see which one I like better.
Let me know if you have tried it and wha's your experience with it.

RANDOM TIP: You can also use micellar water to clean your makeup brushes. Since it removes makeup so well, it'll leave your brushes clean and makeup free. x

Spain Beauty & Makeup Haul!💅💆💋

Hi there!

Mom is back from Spain to visit and she brought a bunch of gifts with her. I have two Spain hauls to share with you guys. First, I'm gonna show you the beauty and makeup I recieved.

Makeup

Rimmel London Extreme Black Wonder'full Mascara with Argan Oil. I not new to Rimmel and its products and yeah, I really like them. I've tried some of their mascaras before so I'm definitely looking forward to try this one.

More lippies to add to the collection! Woohoo!
Rimmel London The Only 1 Matte Lipstick in "Call the Shots" (120). It is a nice coral color with a red-ish tone to it.As the name says it, it has a matte finish. Funny thing is, it has a strong tamarind scent to it.

I ♥ Makeup Lip Geek Lipstick in "Just Have Fun" (FOD01).I think the color is pretty similar to the Rimmel one ↑ but this one is slightly lighter and with a creamy finish and...no scent! The packaging is just so cute!

Left is the I ♥ makeup and Right is the Rimmel one

♥ Skincare

I love skincare as much as I love makeup but I always want to go for Asian/American products so, it's always exciting to try some European brands.

First is the Cien Liftan Intensive Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream. With Q10, Hydraluronic Acid and Vitamin C. I've been meaning to buy a good night eye cream and since my mom already tried some of their products, I trust they willbe good.

Then comes the Germinal Micellar Water (Spanish brand). I am super duper excited to finally try micellar water. My mom has been raving about it since she tried it. I definitely will make a separate post once I try it.

And lastly, Diadermine lifting cream. It has a fresh subtle scent to it and feels very light weight. I tried their night cream before and I liked it!

♥ Hair

Mom got me the L'Oreal Paris Colorista Washout 1 week Color Pastel in...Pink!
I'm not someone who takes big risks when it comes tohair so I think this will be fun to play with. Apparently it lasts 2-3 shampoos. #Pink Hair

♥ Perfume

"Luxurate in the happiness of sugar candy for an authentic Sweet Temptation"
You all know I suck at describing scents but, I'll try my best.
The Women'Secret Candy Temptation Eau de Toilette is the cutest thing ever. Frist of all the presentation screams "sweet", whichI love. The smell is kind of fruity and sweet but still fresh to wear as an everyday scent.

♥ Others

Mom also gave me this beautiful Carolina Herrera gold mirror. I think it looks so fancy! (and heavy!) It makes me want to find any excuse to take it out and show it. #InLove

And that is it for this beauty & Makeup haul. I have one more coming soon! Can't wait to try all of these and share with you all!
