My 3 favorite foundations: From full to light coverage

Hey there dollies!

I don't know if this could count as a part of the monthly favorites but, I was kinda looking forward to share with you the 3 foundations I've been loving lately. I've been using them for a while now and what I like about them is I can reach for them depending on the finish and coverage I want.
I'll show you what I use when I need a full coverage, a lighter one and a very light coverage with a nice, natural glow. Cuz yeah, I'm into that dewy look.

We'll talk about a foundation, a BB Cream and a CC Cream...Here we go!!

WARNING: Sorry in advance for the bad looking pictures, I pretty much took them when I was doing my makeup in the morning so, you'll see bad hair and all that. Light can also change cuz I took them on different days at different hours. My hair looks too dark! LOL

On those days when I need a full coverage I always go for the e.l.f Flawless Finish Foundation with SPF 15. I'm using the shade "Porcelain" (83111).
This is a very lightweight foundation that lasts the whole day. Originally, it says it'll give you a matte finish but, it gives you more of  a dewy look without feeling sticky or thick on the skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you have oily skin cuz I'm sure it'll look a bit shiny at the end of the day but other than that, I think it is a great foundation. Price is also very affordable.
I gave one to my mom as well and she loved it!

Left is no makeup face and Right is my face after applying the foundation (and some concealer)

For a medium coverage I go for the Killing Me Zombie BB Cream with SPF+ PA+++. It claims to have 3 functions: Whitening, UV-block and Wrinkle Care.
At first I only got it because of the whole Zombie concept and honestly, I didn't like it but, as I used it a little more, it grew on me.
The formula is a little thicker than the e.l.f. one and the color is has a slight gray tone to it but, as it sets on the skin, it matches my skin tone. It doesn't have a matte finish, I'd say it gives you a dewy look as well.
Durability is great and even tho the formula is not lightweight, it doesn't feel thick on the skin. The only thing I don't love about it is that it feels a little sticky.
I love BB Creams and I'd say this is not my ultimate favorite but, it is still a good product.

same here, left no makeup face and right, face after the bb cream.
As you can see, the color is a little lighter than the e.l.f one

And, for those days when I'm having a good-looking skin and I can use something with a light coverage, I reach for the y.e.t Trick Play CC Coushion with SPF50+/PA+++. It's supposed to have a whitening and ant-wrinkle effects. The one I have is on the shade "21 Milky Beige". This is also my first time trying cushion foundations and a CC Cream so yeah, I was very excited! I was actually thinking about making a separate post about it but, I'll include everything here.
What I noticed from this brand is that they have a good variety of colors. Some were more yellow based, others more tanned and lighter shades (like the one I got).
First of all, the packaging is really nice (kinda big tho). It looks all clean in white, orange and silver. It comes with a nice sponge thingy and a lid to separate the sponge from the product. The color looks slightly darker on the cushion but once it's applied on the skin it looks lighter. Then again, this one gives you a healthy, dewy look so, I don't think it'd work for oily skin.
Durability is good, but I don't know if there are better ones out there considering this s my first CC cushion.
I usually apply some concealer before using this one to cover my red spots. I love how it makes my skin look as if it had a natural glow.
It has a very soft flower scent to it but is not something I can't deal with.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the sponge. I usually use my beauty blender after applying the product with the sponge. It helps me to blend it a lot better.

Left no makeup. Right CC Cushion

Also, when I want to have a matte finish, I use the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in "Sandstorm" (004). I've been using it for years and I still love it!

As for concealer I've been loving the TonyMoly Cover Pot Concealer Face Mix in 01 "Natural Beige". This one is a little thick but has a great coverage. (And I think it is really cute!)

This is it for now, I hope some of you find this helpful in a way, this could change as I keep trying products but these are the faves at the moment.
Let me know if you have some faves I could try!

Collective Beauty Haul

Hello my loves!
Here comes a little collective beauty haul with products I've been buying lately. I kinda want to spend a little more on beauty and skin care products than makeup for now. I just have too much makeup I don't use! (yet, I did bought one or two makeup products...what to do?!)

Let's take a look!

♥ Welcos Killing Me Zombie B.B. Cream:
I'll start with the brand, Welcos is a Korean company that makes beauty products. Honestly, I never heard of it or read about it until I got the BB Cream. The main reason why I bought it was because of the package~~~ yeah. I mean, I needed a BB cream but I wanted that one because of the whole "zombie" thing. (you know, halloween lover here!)
It contains 50ml, and has 3 functions: whitening, UV-block (SPF50+) and wrinkle care. It does have a soft scent to it. Scents are not always my favorites on makeup but, this one is not something I can't deal with. The texture is a little thick, but once you apply it and blend it, it becomes lighter.
As far as I know, it only comes in one color. The color is light. It matches my skin tone pretty well, and it leaves a dewy finish. The coverage is decent but it's not that great if you compare it with Missha's BB cream or Skin 79. (Not saying it's bad tho!)
I don't regret buying it tho! I really enjoy trying new products and getting to know new brands.

♥ Avon Glimmersticks eyeliner 1. Blackest Black:
Wow, I can't remember the last time I ordered some stuff from Avon.
Anyways, I forgot how good these eyeliners are! And I was actually having trouble with other eyeliners because of the hot weather, I was looking like a raccoon by the end of the day! And that was not a cute look at all. So, the color is really a good black, the applicator is one of those twist thingies which I really like and it applies so smoothly. Plus, the price is really good. I like!

♥ Avon ClearSkin Pore Penetrating Scrub: This was the other thing I ordered. I've been loving this scrub for many years now and I still do. It leaves your skin looking and feeling so clean and fresh! It is kinda dry so you can feel the pearls working but at the same time is gentle to my skin. Perfect combination! Hehe. It has this slight mint-ish feel to it so yeah, extra freshness on you face. I have a thing for those kind of products. When they make you feel SO fresh, almost like a cooling effect...
Highly recommend this product!

♥ Organix Beauty Pure & Simple (OGX) Fight Fallout + Niacin 3 & Caffeine Conditioner (wow, such a long name!): It is not my first time using this brand's conditioner but I kinda use them for some time and then stop, and then go back to them and yeah. On & off. I've tried different types depending on what my hair needs at the moment. This time I wanted a product that could help my hair repair from sun damage and styling tools.
It claims to "Idulge your scalp by massaging this powrful blend with Niacin & caffeine, AlphaHydroxy Acid and natural DHT blocker, to encourage a healthy scalp environment and help prevent hair fallout caused by brakage"
And, it has that cooling effect on your scalp once you use it. I like the feeling and my hair looks and feels healthier after using it 3 times a week.

♥ L'oreal Paris Hydra-Total 5 Toner: This is my first time buying a toner, but I've heard so many good things about this one in particular that I decided to give it a try. It says it: Tones, removes impurities, evens skin tone, illuminates and smoothes.
The smell is really soft and the texture is just liquid. I picked the one for Dry-sensitive skin because well, my skin is way too sensitive.

♥ VOV Lipstick Rush/Lipbalm 01: I haven't find much info on this particular lippie and since most of the stuff in the package are in Korean, it's hard for me to know the exact name of the line, or even the color! All I know is it says "Moisturize" and "Crystal" So yeah, two hints in there!
Since the color was a mystery, I had the surprise that I actually liked it! It looks a little darker and kinda pearlish when you see it but once you apply it is soft and the pearls add a nice, subtle glossiness to the lips without looking like too much. You know what I mean?
It is long lasting and it does have a moisturizing effect.

And that'll be it for now loves! I still need to try (or use more) some of these products so, maybe I'll make separate posts about them.
And if you have some suggestions as in what skin care products I should try, please let me know and I'd love to give them a try!
Until next time! xx
