Fall Tag! 🍂

 Long time no tag! Thing is, I recently saw someone answering this Fall tag and wanted to do it too because, even tho October and spooky season are over, it's still Fall! I'm just not ready to let go of it yet and I won't be on Christmas mode until December hits. 

I am kinda late with this tag tho, it includes a couple of Halloween related questions but I'll answer them anyway, based on what I did this year. 

Let's continue with the Fall mood and answer this tag! Hehe.

1. What is your favorite fall drink?

Pumpkin spice latte, period! Yeah, I am the most basic Fall girl.

2. What’s one thing you love about fall?

Not only that is the beginning of spooky season but also the seasonal food and drinks, the fashion and just the whole vibe everyewhere. Everything is funnier and better in Fall.

3. What’s one thing you don’t like about fall?

Mmm... some sad things have happened during this season in the past, and even tho I'm trying not to get stuck there, it's difficult not to remember them.

4. Are you a pumpkin spice fan?

Defo! It is one of the things I look forward the most once Fall gets close.

I'll try anything pumpkin spice I find!

5. What’s your favorite fall scented candle?

This year was the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Scented Candle from Bath & Body Works, last year was the Marshmallow Fireside Scented Candle. But I guess it depends on what I find.

6. Where do you buy your fall candles?

Mostly Walmart, most of my fancier candles are usually pressies, hehe.

7. What’s your go-to fall beauty product?

I don't think I have something in particular that I like to use only during this season. I used to wear darker lipsticks but now I think I only choose darker nail polishes but, I guess that'll be it.

8. Your favorite fall accessory?

My Halloween earrings! Hehe. I think it's a very discreet way to add a Halloweeny touch to your outfits. Also, my Michael Kors handbag, it's not the most comfortable but, it's my fav bag this season.

9. What’s your typical fall outfit look like?

Well, it depends on the weather, it's very unpredictable here where I live. During October I like to wear my Halloween tees and other seasonal clothes & accessories. But I also like to wear longer skirts, boots, tights, etc. I tend to go for darker and earthy colors too. Dunno, just outfits I think are fun and cozy.

Pumpkin pie!

11. What’s your favorite Halloween/scary movie?

When it comes to Halloween movies, I like the spooky but fun ones that I used to watch growing up like Beetlejuice, The Witches, The Addams Family, The Nightmare Before Christmas, etc. As for horror: Shutter (Thai version), The Ring, The Others and The Omen. At least those are the ones that come to my mind rn.

12. Do you have a fall tradition?

Well, most of my Fall traditions are more like Halloween traditions. With my friends, we try to have a pumpkin carving night every year or make a small craft and try lots of seasonal or themed foods and drinks. Mom and I always go to starbucks as soon as the Fall drinks are available and I usually exchange pressies with friends and Family. Visiting the Alfeñique fair is also something I used to do with my grandpa, then with my dad and now I do it with my friends evey year. We also have some gatherings throughout the month to celebrate Halloween season.

And last year I started putting an altar on the Day of the Dead. I start on October 27th with a small one for my furry babies and then make it a little bigger on November 01st for the family. I'm no expert tho, there's still a lot I have to include.

As you can see, I take Fall and Halloween very seriously, hehe.

13. What’s your favorite fall food?

The first thing I thought about was: Pan de muerto. I just love it. I'm sure there are many good Fall foods I'm ignoring right now but, oh well~

14. What are your plans for Halloween?

Since Halloween was on a Thursday, I spent most of my day working. At night we had a family Halloween dinner with themed food, drinks, candle lights and relaxing music. It was a very nice and relaxing way to close the season.

15. Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween?

I loooove dressing up for Halloween but for some reason, I didn't do it this year! I wore lots of Halloween tees on Halloween week but, that was it!

16. What’s one thing your thankful for?

This might sound cheesy but, I'm thankful for the people around me. I feel that my relationships with some people have imrpoved a lot this year and that makes me happy. I'm constantly saying this but, I have the best people around me.

17. Halloween or Thanksgiving?

Halloween always and forever.

18. Favorite Thanksgiving food?

I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving so, I don't really have one.

19. Have you ever participated in Friendsgiving?

Nope, but now I want to. I'll try to plan it for next year, I think it's be too late to start planning it now~

20. Have you already taken fall photos? 

Of course!

Fall scents: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Scented Candle 🕯️

I received this candle as a pressie from my sister's bestie last December and since I didn't share it back then, but now is be the right time to do it since, it is a perfect Fall scent!

It's the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Scented Candle with cinnamon, clove, and brown sugar notes that makes it the perfect Fall scent. It really smells like pumpkin spice!

The jar is super cute, it screams Fall and well, it also works as a decoration item. Love it. Something I really like about Bath & Body Works products is the quality. The smell of these candles is strong and amazing! It really fills the room just by opening the jar.

I've lit the candle a couple of times before, even when it was not Fall but, I'm fully enjoying it now. It makes my apartment feel so cozy!

🍂🎃 Pumpkin Spice Yummies Mini Haul 🎃🍂

Autumn is officially here and we all know what that means, it's pumpkin spice season! You can call me basic but, I couldn't be more excited. I am super ready for cozy sweaters, hot drinks and spooky vibes so, let's welcome the season with a pumpkin spice mini haul.

It's been kinda cool cuz these special / limited edition products are new this year. At least where I live. I know that in the U.S. pumpkin spice products are everywhere so, it's nice to see more brands releasing pumpkin yummies.

Let's start with some candy. Actually one of my friends discovered these and told me about them, I knew I had to go get them right away. I've known both products for years now but I just discovered (and only because I wondered why the presentation was the same) they are from the same brand, Arcor.

Bon o Bon are chocolate candies with wafer and a filling I can't really remember cuz, even tho I don't dislike them, I just don't buy them as often. This time they have pumpkin spice filling.

The bag comes with 10 chocolates but I think there's a bigger presentation too. I was actually surprised cuz, I really, really liked them! The pumpkin spice filling isn't super sweet so it goes well with the chocolate. They are perfect to enjoy with a cup of coffee.

I really like Butter Toffees and I do buy them often. I think I've tried most of the flavors they have. I especially like the chokko mint and chokko cherry toffees. My grandpa loves them too. This bag comes with 30 toffees, more than the ones I usually get.

The smell of these is super strong! You can smell the spices as soon as you open the bag. The taste is also very strong. It's a mix between caramel, pumpkin and spices. They are addictive! Haha. Once you start eating them, you can't stop!

Moving on, we have these two coffee creamers from Coffee Mate. We all know I love my PSL and I really like the idea of being able to make myself some at home too. I got the 2 presentations they had at Walmart.

The first is this liquid coffee creamer, I was especially excited to try it. It's not overly sweet but it does have enough sugar to give your coffee a nice, sweet taste. You can defo taste the spices but, I am not sure if what I taste is pumpkin spice or if it's more like a chai... either way, I loved it!

The other one I got is the powder creamer(?). It is very similar to the liquid one but less sweet. It does add that Fall-ish taste to your drink but I do suggest adding some sugar if you want a sweeter drink. 

And that is that for this mini haul. Like I said, it's exciting to see more pumpkin spice products in stores now.

Fall scents: Marshmallow Fireside Scented Candle

 Here's another housewarming gift from my friend Ceci, it is a candle from Bath & Body Works that has a perfect scent for Fall that, surprisingly, is not pumpkin spice.

It is the Marshmallow Fireside Scented Candle that is a mix of toasted marshmallow, wood, roasted vanilla and natural essential oils. It is sweet, cozy and really strong, which I like. It fills the room with a delicious smell.

The jar is also very pretty, it looks nice as a part of your decoration. I'm slowly becoming a fan of the Bath & Body Works Products.

What other smells do you consider good for fall? Besides Pumpkin spice, of course.

Smells like... Fall!

Fall to me means: Candles, cozy sweaters, hot drinks and of course, everything pumpkin! And even tho I am not a crazy candle person, I do love one that has a nice and strong scent, powerful enough to fill a room with it. 

A few days ago, while looking for Fall / Halloween stuff at Joi (Canadian dollar store), I came across this Willow & Time pumpkin candle. I don't pay much attention to candles from dollar sotres because most of them smell cheap and have a very subtle scent, but this one was too pumpkin-ish not to pay attention to it. I was impressed with the scent so I decided to take it home with me.

Once I lit the candle at home, it did give a very nice Fall scent to the room, I just love it! It is kinda like smelling a pumpkin spice latte with lots of cinnamon. Yum.

I'll make sure to go back and get more! Tell me guys, do you have a favorite Fall scent?

October is here! + October photo challenge

It is that time of the year again! Autum is here, pumpkin spice is everywhere and there's Halloween stuff in stores. Yup, my favorite month and season are here!

I usually go crazy with my Halloween shopping and decoration but, I'm trying hard not to spend that much money these days so I won't be shopping...that much. Hehe.

I still want do do as many Halloween related things as possible you know, live and breathe Halloween~ Other years I try to do a 31 days of Halloween thing but this year mom challenged me to do this October Photo Challenge so, I'll try that! It looks like fun!

I'll be sharing them on my SNS but maybe I'll put all the pics together in one post at the end of the month to share them here too. I'll also leave the photo challenge down below in case you wanna do it with me!

Hello October!!!

Hey there spooky babies!
I know I've been a little MIA here but...life's been crazy busy lately!! Anyway...
October is here! And as some of you already know, it's my favorite time of the year, Halloween is everywhere!
Every year I try to live and breathe Halloween as much as possible! It can be from themed food, halloween places, horror movies and games and even day of the dead stuff. It's all very exciting!
My friends (aka The Halloween gang) and I already made a list of some places and activities we want to do this month.
I'll do my best to update the blog with some of our Halloween activities so you guys can follow us on our little adventure.

Happy October 1st guys!
I'm excited cuz we're in my favorite month! The witch in me wants to breathe and live Halloween as much as possible! Hehee.
 It's always fun to look at all the Halloween stuff stores have and, of course, do some shopping. I went ahead and started mine a few weeks ago.
Today my room is all decorated, but I know for sure I'll keep adding some things as the month goes by.
I have some posts in mind for the month, hopefully they will give you some ideas for this Holiday.

Hello October!

Hi loves! Can't believe this year is going by this fast! The year is almost over, but it comes with lots of fun holidays. October would definitely be my top favorite month of the year, it's all about Halloween and people who know me, know I am obsessed with it. From candies, to decoration, horror movies, parties and of course, costumes!

So part of this month's posts will be my top fav horror movies, party ideas, costumes and who knows, maybe one or two recipes for the season.
