Buffy the Vampire Slayer Inspired Makeup

Hello vamps!

So, not long ago Buffy the Vampire Slayer celebrated its 20th anniversary. I don't think you guys know but I was (and still am) a big fan of the show so I was very, very excited to see the cast reunited for an Entertainment Weekly photoshoot. They all look great! (Spike OMG! ♥)
Growing up I tried to copy many of her looks with no big success~ So since my obsession with Buffy is coming back I decided to try her makeup from season 6. Which was also one of my favorites.
And even tho I think I look more like Tara, I liked the result. It is nice for an everyday look.

this is the look I wanted to create
NOTE: Don't mind my awkward posing and weird serious expression...

♥ Face:
° TonyMoly Cover Pot Concealer Face Mix 01 Light Beige
° Elf Flawless Finish Foundation Porcelain (83111)
° KleanColor Ms. Chick Rose (2087)

♥ Eyes:
° L.A. Colors Matte Eyeshadow Mattifying (CEM481) As a base
° L.A. Colors Tea Time (EP45) for the gold touch
° H&M Volume mascara Black

♥ Brows:
° Nitro 24H Eyebrow Pencil
° Tanako Cool Brow Mascara Light

♥ Lips:
° She Makeup Watermelon 09
° Avon Color Trend Pop Orange
I mixed these two because I didn't have the perfecr shade. My lippies were too light or too dark for this color.

And, this is it for this look! Ah! I feel like re-watching the series all over again!

Drugstore Makeup Haul + others

Hello dollies!
A few days ago I went shopping with my mom to start looking for Christmas gifts and we discovered this store where they sell lots of drugstore brands and...I couldn't resist myself to buy a few things to try and see if they are worth it.
So, let's take a look at what I bought.

KLEANCOLOR Ms. Chick Universally Flattering Flush Blush.
I bought 2 colors, one is Rose (2087) whch is a beautiful pink shade and the other one is Apricot (2091), a peachy color.
Both are super pigmented so I gotta be careful when appying them. They have a big variety of colors, from pinks and natural peaches to bronzer colors. I liked them so much that I'm thinkng bout buying them all! Even got a Rose one for my mom too.
Plus, they are super cute! They remind me of cute little macaroons!

KLEANCOLOR American EyeCon Wet/dry baked shadow.
The one I got for me is in the color Khaki (SES12). It is a beautiful metallic sand shade, that in my opinion, looks nice as an everyday color. It doesn't look like too much.
This is my first time buying wet eyeshadows, apparently the color looks a lot stronger when you apply them wet. Still gotta try that! Using them dry was good too, the color looks really nice, and it lasts all day!
Then again, I bought the same color for my mom and a coral-ish one for my friend Liz. (she loved it!)

This is actually my first time using other products from KLEANCOLOR, I only bought some nail polihes before (which didn't make me too happy) but, I really think these products are better.

L.A. Colors Matte Eyeshadow.
I can't remeber the last time I bought an eyeshadow palette from L.A. Colors... I used to be obsessed with their nail polishes years ago and I own 2 or 3 eyeshadows from this brand. This one is a 4 matte colors called "Mattifying" (CEM481). I like these kind of earthy colors because they are so easy to match with everything and can be used everyday. Kinda neutral but pretty.
I also think this shades could be a good option for those who are starting with makeup for that same reason.

L.A. Colors Brow Pencil.
I love to experiment with brow products, and this one is another experiment! The color I got is in Medium (CP672) because that was the lightest they had but I'm sure one shade lighter would be the perfect one!
The application is easy, color is pretty good and I like the small brush. And it is actually waterproof.

TANAKO Cool Brow Eyebrow Mascara.
In that same store I found this brow mascara, liked the color, and decided to buy it. Apparently it is a Chinese brand...
The color is the lightest shade they have but I still have to try it and see how it goes.

Not from the same store but still makeup:

She Makeup lipstick.
In the color Watermelon (09) I usually fall for these type of colors! But yeah, it is a super pretty coral-ish shade. It is actually
very hydrating and lasts for a long time. Color is very pigmented and I gotta say the package looks pretty! I like the little hint of pink on it.

Seven Girl Faux Cils Papillon.
I'm not too picky when it comes to mascaras. As long as they are waterproof I'm happy but, I've noticed this one actualy adds some lenght to my lashes. And yeah, it is waterproof.

And that is pretty much it for now! I'm pretty excited to try all these products! Haha!
Until next time! xx ❤

Black is back!

Hi guys!
This is what I'm currently wearing on my nails. It's KLEANCOLOR "Metallic black" (168)
I love black nails and metallic colors so this one is definitely a lovely, lovely nail polish.
It's a mix of black and silver but I guess you have to take a closer look to actually see the silver.

But even though I absolutely love it, I have to say its durability is not great. This polish cracks super soon so I have to keep applying coats to make it last.

If anyone knows a similar color that actually lasts longer please, let me know! :)

Wizard Pads

Here comes /another/ post about nails~

I've been looking for this magic little pads since I started checking some of the L.A. Colors nails products, I
found these thingies very curious and I couldn't wait to get my "nails" into it.

So, I never found the L.A. Color ones but my mom gave me this "Wizard Pads" pack from Kleancolor.
I find cute the fact that the girl on the cover is a readhead~ but there are other designs.

Ok let's talk a little about the magic pads. I was surprised to find out they are acetone-free. What they have
is this lemon-smelly oil that helps nourish your nails and cuticules.
It contains 32 pads, 1 pad works for the 10 nails using both sides. (you may need 2 for really dark colors)

It was a challenege to remove my "Rainbow glitter" from L.A. Colors since all that glitter gave me a rough time, but my nails are finally glitter-free, soft and ready to try a new color!

I highly recomend these pads, especially for trips or to bring them everywhere inside your purse.

This is definitely one of my latest favorite things for nails.

Oily kiss!

xx ♥
