Gwen Stacy inspired make-up

Hi guys!
Many people know I am a huge Spider-man fan, he is actually my superhero crush, and since The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just premiered I kinda felt like trying Gwen's make-up. Plus, it's been a while since I did something make-up related! I barely wear eye shadow lately. It is a change.

Gwen has some big expressive eyes, so I tried to focus on that. Soft purples and lots of eye liner, pink lips and soft pink cheeks.
I also had to fill in my eyebrows, she has strong ones and mine are just too thin. I used some brown eye shadow to create a "fuller" look.

* Eyes:
I used the soft pink in the middle as my base color, then moved on to the lilac on and finally the purple on the outer corner of my eyes.
Black eye liner from L.A. Colors "Black" (P601)
Cats Wink Mascara from Tony Moly

* Face:
BB cream Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions from Skin79
Pressed powder from Rimmel London. (sandstorm 004)

*Cheeks:
Rose Silk 32 Jordana

*Lips:
Avon Color Trend Pop Love "Strawberry" Valentine's day limited edition. (I love this color! And it smells delicious!)

And for my hair (This is not really Gwen related) one of my friends and co-workers helped me to curl my hair using her Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Hot Rollers. I've never used hot rollers before, or any kind of rollers. I really, really liked how these rollers work, the heat super fast and curling your hair is way faster than my regular curling method and my curls lasted for a long time.

This is how the rollers look. I'm definitely thinking about getting one of these for myself.

My everyday makeup

Hi sweeties!
It's been a while since I've done something make-up related. Life's been kinda busy lately so, it's hard to find time to try new looks! Instead of my everyday black eye liner I changed it to a brown one. I wasn't  sure if I was gonna like it or not but I actually do. It looks a little more natural than the black one (not saying I don't like it anymore) and somehow, I'm having a "less is more" moment when it comes to make up these days.
This has been my everyday look probably since Autumn started. Along with the brown eye liner, I've been using a white eye liner on my lower eyelid. I think it gives it a fresh and cute look to my eyes.
The one I'm using is L.A.Colors P612 White. (yes! I'm still loving these eye liners)

Sorry for its look! I've been using this one a lot and it already looks... used! hehee
I'm also using a peachy blush on my cheeks and a very soft berry lipstick that also keeps my lips hydrated during these cold days.

Bloody French Manicure

Hello bloody babies!
Even though I like it, I'm not great when it comes to nail art, but last Halloween I had fun trying something easy and perfect for the season on my nails.

I started with a nude color base (I think it was Avon Nail wear pro "Nude") and then moved on to the fun part, the blood. For that I used L.A. Colors "Plum Wine" (NP115) and basically I just tried to make it look as if my nails had some blood.
This one doesn't take much time and I think it looks pretty cool.

Now I wonder what should I try this year.
Any suggestion?

True Blood inspired make-up: Nora.

Hi loves!

I had a lot of fun trying Pam's make-up a while ago and I wanted to try some other True Blood inspired looks since then. I got the suggestion to try Nora's. (played by Lucy Griffiths)

Nora's make-up is totally different from Pam's. It's really soft and pink. I actually liked it! It could be used as an everyday look. Since Nora is a Vampire, it was kinda hard to find the exact colors she uses since she's always in the dark but, after looking at tons of pics I came out with this.

This will be my Nora palette from now on! Lol. The pink color was the base and the brown-goldish one helped me to create a deeper look applying it on the upper lid of the eyes. The one that's missing was a lovely sand color I used to love but sadly, it's gone. I never thought I would use the other 2 colors much til now.
I also used some black eye liner, pink blush and a pale pink lipstick.

And that's pretty much it from Eric's sister...

Jewel Nails

Hi babies!
My birthday gifts came with more nail polish! I guess people know me too well!
I've been loving glitter on my nails lately and this one makes a fun and nice mix of blue and purple.
It's L.A. Colors Color Craze "Jewel Tone" (NP447)

What I really like about (most) of the glitter nail polishes I've used is that durability is a bit better than the mate ones. Even if I apply more than 3 coats. I like these kind of polishes to look extra glitter-ish.

Happy Monday and have a wonderful week everyone!

Pastel Meadow

Hey lovelies!

Spring's been way too hot over here lately, everything looks so bright so I decided to go for something like that with my nail polish too.

This beautiful pastel is L.A. Colors "Meadow" (NP530) It has a cream finish and it's not too thick after 3 coats.

I don't usually wear pastels on my nails but I definitely like this one!

Purple Ice

Hi babies!

This is what I'm currently wearing on my nails. L.A. Colors "Purple Ice" (NP121)
I know Spring is already here and you see all these super bright colors and lovely pastels everywhere but I still love dark nail polishes on my nails.

I bought this one a while ago (like a year ago, I think) and only used it once so I decided to use it again before it gets old.

I absolutely love it's color, it's a deep kinda metallic purple. And I liked it so much that even my toenails are wearing this color at the moment.

Maybe I'll buy some Spring-ish colors soon.

Vibrant Orange

Hey loves!

Orange is one of my favorite colors to wear on my lips, but this is the first time I wear it on my nails. This vibrant color is L.A. Colors "Moody Red" (NP435) and part of the nail polishes that came with the Christmas gift. It'll be number 3.

I have to admit, I'm already loving it! It has this soda color, hehee. Perfect to cheer you up on a cloudy and cold day. I think I definitely will try more orange nail polishes soon!

1 more color to try!

FOTD: Black and Silver

Hey babies!
Since I liked the "Black and Gold" look so much I decided to try creating the same look using one of my favorite colors on accessories, silver.

As I did on the other look, we'll start with a black base on the eyes.

Here comes the silver! I used my L.A. Colors "Stormy" (EP46) eye shadow palette.
The color I'm pointing at is the one used over the black.

Stormy (EP46)

This time I used a white eye shadow to highlight the inner corner of the eye plus, of course, some eyeliner and mascara.

Lipstick this time is super natural since the eyes are dark. I'm wearing Avon Color trend "Hot cappuccino.

Add some blush and... you're ready.

Closer look to the eye finished look (sorry for the red eye)

I would definitely try this look to go out at night, hope you guys like it!

FOTD: Black and Gold

Hello loves!

I decided to recreate the make-up I wore last Christmas dinner. It was something I tried before on my mom for my cousin's wedding and I loved it. So it was my turn to try it.

This one iis really easy to create. It looks great for night events and since the eyes are to heavy here, I used a neutral color on the lips but, if you are brave enough to wear two heavy colors at the same time, go for it!

To create this look I started with a black base on the eyes. I added some eye shadow on the bottom the eye too.

Lets add some gold! This is the palette I used. The color I'm pointing at it the one I used over the black.

This is how it looks now we have gold over black, I also added some gold on the bottom of the eye and used the lighter color to highlight the inner corner of the eye.

Now it's time to add some black eye liner and mascara, plus blush and lipstick.

Closer look to the finished eye look.
Lipstick was L.A. Colors "Matte Caramel" (LIPM235) it's a lovely color, I just love it!

So, I hope you guys like this look~!

Golden kiss! X

Lush Nails

Hello loves! Hope you are enjoying your Winter break, mine is about to be over soon~

So, one of my Christmas gifts came with 4 totally different new nail polishes! Can you tell people know I love them? Hehee.

This was the first one I wanted to try since I wanted something silver for New Years Eve. We could say this was the NYE nails look.

Color is L.A. Colors "Lush Lavender" (NP449) and, as you can see, it's a lovely and soft silver. I love it. I decided to mix it with "Black Velvet" and "Sparkling Diamonds" both from L.A. Colors and definitely two of my favorites!

There are 3 more colors to try!
