💕 | November Favorites 2019 | Music & YouTube

OMG one more month and 2019 will be over!!
This month went by extra fast due to all the activities and paperwork I had but I guess the end of the year is like that for everyone~

Alright guys, let's just do this and let's keep it short. Here are my favorites of the month.

💕 Music

I know it's late but, I've been obsessing with Epica vs Attack on Titan songs. I knew about the songs but didn't really had the time to check them out until this month and... they are SO good! I keep playing them over and over. If you're an AOT fan and you like Epica, defo check them out!

Track list:
Crimson Bow and Arrow
Wings of Freedom
If Inside These Walls Was a House
Dedicate Your Heart!

💕 YouTube

I looove youtube! I could spend hours watching it. I'm not sure if I've shared some of my favorite channels with you guys before but there are 2 new ones on my list that I've been really enjoying this month:

Ask a Mortician. You guys know how much I love these things. My friend Lu was talking about it back on Halloween and suggested me to check it out. It is quite interesting because it talks about death and all those questions we sometimes have but, in a  funny way.

The next one is a channel I find absolutely pretty to watch. Rhea Y. Simple Living. Even tho I'm not a minimalist person, I really enjoy watching these videos. They are beautifully made and...the food!
Plus it's a Japan life vlog so, what's not to love?

💕 Others

My favorite thing in this whole post is my Pink Computer table from Yoyoso. I got it earlier this month, it was for sale and I've been using it non stop. It is my favorite place to work, edit and watch videos. I know, it's not the most interesting item but I freaking love it!

And that is it for this month guys, next month will be the last monthly favs of the year~!!

💕 | October Favorites 2019 | Makeup, events & music!

Hey there spooks!
My favorite time of the year went by so fast but, OMG it was such a busy one. Starting with Masha having a surgery and having 3 halloween paties with my students, 3 in a row! As much as I love Halloween, having to celebrate it at work is exhausting.

I'm gonna start with the activities this time. I don't think I have many products to show so, yeah.

💕 Activities & Events

Pumpkin Carving Day. My friend Diana had the great idea to have a pumpkin carving activity this year. I always wanted to carve pumpkins but I never got the chance to do it, until this year. I was super excited and it was a lot of fun. We went to pick our pumpkins at the market (since we don't have pumpkin patches around here), had lunch together and got to the whole carving thing. I had no idea how time consuming this activity can be, but it was all worth it!
Now we want to make this activity a Halloween tradition, hehe.

Epica Design Your Universe 10th Annyversary Show. I won't go into much detail here because I already dedicated a whole blog post to it (here) but I have to say it was an amazing experience, especially because I got to share it with very important and special people.

The next day we went sightseeing to check the Skull expo in Reforma, a good and chilled activity to do this month. The whole environment was so nice and the skulls have pretty cool designs too. I'm not sure for how long this expo will be there but It's worth checking it out.

💕 Makeup

I'm sure you already saw this on this blog but, I've been loving the Primark Disney Villains Eyeshadow Palette my friends brought from London (swatches and info here!). Not only the colors are perfect for these seasons but they also have great quality!

The next products are my Huda Beauty lippies. My mom gave me the first one and I've been obsessing with them ever since. They have been my everyday lipsticks this month. I want to write a separate post about them but I do wanna say the colors are super pigmented, even tho they are matte, lips don't look all dry and patchy and the color lasts for a long, long time.

💕 Yummies

You guys know trying seasonal food is one of my favorite things to do this month, my friend Ceci found this Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Bailey's and of course, I had to get it!
I loved it because it is the perfect mix between Bailey's traditional flavor and pumpkin spice! Cuz it does taste like it. I really recommend it if you're a sucker for pumpkin spice like I am.

💕 Music

I'm not sure if you guys knew but, I was really into k-pop and I was a huge F(x) fan. I still like k-pop but I'm not following groups as a crazy Fangirl anymore (just Kim Hyun Joong). But hearing about Sulli's passing was still very shocking! Not only because she was so young but also because she was my favorite back when she was with F(x). 💔
So yeah, as it happens, I've been listening to F(x) a lot lately but, also to Sulli's solo album that was released this Summer.

Goblin is a 3 track mini album: Goblin, To the moon and Dorothy.
I've been playing Goblin on repeat! It's super catchy!

It still feels unreal that she's actually gone~

And well, that pretty much wraps up my favorite month of the year. As usual, there are a few vlogs up on my channel MonStar's Little Vlog for you to check out. Tried to do a Vlogtober kind of thing~ hehe.

💕 | September Favorites 2019 | Fall, TV & Music

Hello loves! Fall is finally here and I couldn't be happier! you know, it is my favorite time of the year.
And I think that should be the first favorite of the month. It means pumpkin everything and well... Halloween season! Yup, I already decorated and I've been enjoying my Pumpkin Spice latte at Starbucks. I can also say the pumpkin bread they have is defo worth trying.

And now that I've mentioned Halloween, I'm gonna leave Netflix schedule for some spooky shows, perfect for the season: Netflix & Chills. Let me know if you decide to watch them!

With that being said, let's move on to the other favorites~

💕 Makeup

After sticking to brow pencils for a while, I went back to brow mascaras. They make it all so much easier and faster in the morning! But, it's always hard to find a color that matches my hair color. I recently started using the Mary Kay Volumizing Brow Tint in "Brunette"
The brush is small enough to make the application clean and easy and the formula dries quickly. I'm not sure if it is waterproof or not but, it stays in place looking goos even after rainy days. So yup, I've been loving this one.

💕 TV

Lately I've been obsessing over Good Witch. It is a Hallmark show that I'm watching on Netflix. It was my mom's recommendation and even thought it took me a while to start watching it, it was worth it. This one is a fantasy comedy-drama starting Catherine Bell and James Denton.
I'm gonna link Wikipedia here if you wanna check it out. I'm only on season 3 but apparently there are 5 seasons so far.

💕 Music

Even tho is not super recent, I've been meaning to share it around here for a couple of months now but, I always forget. It is Emma Bunton's latest album "My Happy Place"
Baby Spice was always my favorite Spice Girl and I never stopped following her career. This album comes with 10 tracks, many collaborations and covers. It made me really happy to listen her version of "2 become 1", one of my favorite Spice Girls songs, with Robbie Williams.

Track list:
1."Baby Please Don't Stop"
2."I Wish I Could Have Loved You More"
3."Too Many Teardrops"
4."I Only Want to Be with You" (featuring Will Young)
5."Don't Call Me Baby"
6."You're All I Need to Get By" (featuring Jade Jones)
7."Come Away with Me" (featuring Josh Kumra)
8."Emotion"
9."2 Become 1" (featuring Robbie Williams)
10."Here Comes the Sun"

And that's all for this month's favorites, it wasn't much this month but, oh well. Now that October is here, please share with my your favorites of the season and the things you like to do this month. (Halloween or Fall related)

Bye!!

💕 | August Favorites 2019 | Eventful month, beauty & kdrama!

Hello lovelies!
I'm 100% back to work now and yup, I'm trying to get used to it again that's why this post is a little late. Just a little.
August was such a busy month but it was also eventful. That's defo part of my favorites! So, let me share with you part of those things that made August great.

💕 Life Events

Even tho I didn't go anywhere special on my Summer break, I did spend time with my friends and family and that's something I enjoy. First, we celebrated my Grandpa's 89th birthday! I'm so thankful to celebrate another birthday with him. Then my friend Diana turned 30! and we had a little celebration for her. Can't believe we've been friends for such a long time now!! We also celebrated Dee Dee eonni's birthday last weekend with scary movies and a Harry Potter themed cafe after watching "Scary stories to tell in the dark"
And besides the birthdays and as some of you probably already know, I recently started a new job. Well, pretty much a second job. It is exciting because it makes me feel like I'm pushing myself to do better things for my own future. Just seeing how hard my friends work and how much they are growing as time goes by, makes me want to the the same for myself as well as celebrating with them their achievements.
My mom also started a new job at a bigger school, she's happy and I'm happy for her.
Lastly, Michee and Tinkie have a new sister now! Her name is Masha, and she's a sweet 5 month old kitty. Of course we are still trying to make things work between them but, hopefully we'll get there soon.

Ok, time to move to the products and all that fun stuff:

💕 Beauty

First we have the TonyMoly Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissue (longest name ever...) which I already mentioned in my previous post. I love TonyMoly and their procuts never disappoint me. Big plus was the fact that they didn't irritate or hurt my skin in any way. Defo recommend them.

Another cleansing product I've been using and liking at the moment is the Miniso Watermelon Bouncy Hydra Facial Cleansing Gel.
Product features: Creates creamy lather, goes deep down into pores to gently and effectively remove excess grease, dirt and impurities. Leaving skin fresh, radiant and healthy looking.
Being a gel type formula, it doesn't really creates lather but, a little product goes a long way. It does feel a little thick but it rinses easily. It's gentle to the skin and OMG the smell of it is just, delicious.

💕 Makeup

Moving on to makeup, my friend Ceci gave me this Wet n Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Palette Éclairage in No. C320 Catwalk Pink wich comes with 4 shades that can be worn alone or mixed together.
It's been my go-to blush/higlhlighter lately. The strongest shade makes a perfect blush and if I mix them with the others, it gives my skin the perfect glow and extra color it needs. Pigmentation wise it is great, I'd say its even better than the MegaGlo Highlighter Illuminatrice I bought a while ago.

I know this is not a new product but I always wanted to try it and for whatever reason I never got it until now. It's the L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara.
I'm not too picky with mascaras and I honestly don't care much about super long lashes and volume. I only care about it being waterproof and not making me look like a racoon by the end of the day. But! somehow this one does those 3 things for me (volume, lenght and waterproof) still looking natural and it actually makes me happy!
I'm so happy I finally got it.

💕 TV

Lastly we have a KDrama I recently started watching with my mom. All about my Mom. We loved Kim Mi-Sook so much after Glorious Day that we didn't want to stop seeing her. Surprisingly, Lee Sang-Woo and Jo Bo Ah are there too.
As most of the dramas we watch together, this has a bit of everything: romance, drama and comedy. As well as some good fashion.
Here's a Synopsis of the show, straight from AsianWiki:
"Jin-Ae has a love and hate relationship with her mother San-Ok. She dreams of becoming independent from her family and especially from her mother. Jin-Ae falls in love with Hoon-Jae and marries him. Meanwhile, what awaits for Jin-Ae is her new mother-in-law. While experiencing difficult times with her mother-in-law, Jin-Ae begins to understand her mother San-Ok for the first time."

And that's pretty much it for August. September means Fall for me so yeah, my favorite time of the year is pretty much here. There are also very exciting things like my friends going on their first trip to Europe real soon, Epica's concert, pumpkin everything season, more birthdays and of course, Halloween!
Have a great September loves!!

💕 | July Favorites 2019 | Beauty, TV & Cat Filters!

Hello my loves!
Hope you're having a great Summer break. Mine's been surprisingly busy with birthdays, graduations, projects and even YouTube. I've been editing a lot on my free time these days. But it's been fun trying slightly different videos than my usual vlogs.

I think this month's post will be better than June's, I literally had just a couple of things to share~
So, let's start!

💕 Beauty

Since I discovered the power of Micellar Water, it became one of my favorite products to remove my makeup. I've tried a few and NIVEA ones are definitely one of my favorites because of how effective it is getting rid of waterproof mascaras and how gentle it is with my very sensitive skin. (I still double cleanse tho).
I've tried two of their micellar waters, the Nivea Face Caring Micellar Water, which I believe was the first one they came up with and the MicellAIR Expert with black tea extract.
I just finished using this last one and it was great! My skin felt fresh and clean after using it with no oily trace. Then again this product was soooo good to my sensitive skin, no irritation or break outs.
I believe they also have cleansing wipes and an other micellar water especially made for eyes. I'll have to check those out. For now, I definitely recommend this one.
An other good thing about it, it is not expensive.

That's for skincare, moving on to makeup. I've been obsessing over highlighters lately. My most recent and loved one is the Megaglo Highlighter Illuminatrice in "Crystal High" from Wet n Wild. This one is supposed to be limited edition. The presentation was the fist thing that caught my eye but the color is beautiful, very pigmented and it gives a very natural glow to the skin.

Next is the REVLON Photoready Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer. See? I'm obsessed with glow lately~

It is a water-base primer with oil beads and luminous rose quartz.
Product claims to: Smooth the skin for foundation, add a rosy pearlescence and to help the skin feel hydrated for 24 hours.

How to use: "Place a few drops into hands, rub together to melt oil beads. Apply to face for illuminated skin. Wear alone or under any cream, liquid or powder foundation"

I've been really enjoying using this product as a part of my everyday makeup routine. It does give a subltle and natural glow to the skin that makes it look healthier. The scent is not too strong and it absorbs quickly. At first I didn't notice much difference but I started getting compliments on my skin after using it. Really, really like it.

Lastly we have a hair related item, which is weird cuz I never include hair stuff in my favorites. It is the TonyMoly Volume Hair Wood Brush. Fist of all, I'm SO happy I finally have a TonyMoly store here where I live!! (that's an extra favorite).
So, I decided to get this brush because I noticed my hair became super frizzy(?) this Summer, I'm not sure why. But it was very annyoing. So, searching online I read that using a wood brush would help with that and... I bought it.
It may not be the prettiest but it does the job. Brushing my hair is easy and it did help with the frizz problem. It's also supposed to massage your scalp while you brush your hair.

💕 TV

Glorious Day is a Korean Drama I started watching a few years ago but never got to finish it. So, recently, mom and I decided to watch it and I finally finished it. It is SO good! It is about a divorced writer and her 3 daughters, their struggles in life growing up without a father and their love life. Each character has a background which makes it interesting because it's not really focused on just one character. It makes you laugh, it makes you wanna cry but in the end you love the characters. And of course, lots of good fashion there. You know, I just love Koreans' style.

💕 Yummies

If there's a drink I can call my true love (besides coffee), it has to be sake! This month I tried Cream Sake for the first time (I usually drink regular one) and I JUST LOVED IT!
It was a gift from my mom and my sister and I think it can become one of my favorites ever. The one I tried was the Nigori Cream Sake, and yup, I finished the bottle myself because I'm overly protective with my sake. Hehe.

💕 Accessories

Earrings are my favorite accessories at the moment. My mom gave me this pink flower earrings and I instantly fell in love with them. They are super pretty and girly. I can't match them with every single outfit but I would if I could. Hehe.
These are from Todo Moda and I believe they had them in a mint color too. But you know, forever pink.

💕 Others

Snow
filters for cats have to be the cutest filters ever! Michee and I have been having a lot of fun playing with them. Funny thing is, these are literally for cats. I tried using it on my dog and... nothing.

And that is it guys, feel free to share with me some of your favorites and, I'll see you next time!!
