💌 A letter to my best friends

Dear friends,

These past few years have been a bit of a roller coaster for me. Lots and lots of things changed and even tho most of them were for the better, I had a very hard time dealing with all that. I don't think I could've made it without you girls in my life.
I think you already know most of what I'm about to say but, still. And it's February 14th so... you know, chessy little Mon~ hehe.

As time goes by, I've realized I don't need a big group of friends to feel happy and that some people must walk out of your life in order for you to grow as a person. I also realized friendship is not all about going out to places and seeing each other every single day.
Right now, I can truly say I'm happy with the friends I have. It may be a small group but, it's the best group I could ask for. Positive, talented, creative and strong people I truly adore and admire who never leave me, no matter what.

Sailor Sisters & Big kids foreva!

First of all I want to say thank you. Thank you for being in my life and sharing those ups & downs with me, for making me laugh when I feel poorly, for listening to my rants and worries even if they can be a little silly at times. For being crazy and weird with me but also giving me serious advice and adulting lessons when I need them. (And OMG do I need them!).
It doesn't mattter if we've known each other for over 10 years or less than 5, or if we took separate ways and got reunited again, you've shown me what a real friendship is.

You guys taught me that it's ok to be me, and that I should feel comfortable and proud of the person I've become. That I can be a "responsible" adult without losing that girl's heart I have and that I'm capable of great things too. You also made me realize I have to think about me more and do things for me without having to feel bad or selfish and that I don't need someone else to shine.

I love to share my achievements with you, as much as I enjoy celebrating yours. And that, no matter how busy we are with our lives and jobs, we always find time to hang out, catch up and even just be lazy together. I love how different we all are but how much we share and have in common. How much I learn from you (and hopefully, you learn from me too). And how we cotinue making memories together.

Our friendship is full of anime obsessions, husbandos, coffee, shopping, makeup addiction, silly talks, laziness, gossip and loud laughs but, there's also emotional support, boring adult stuff, changes, new beginnings, deep chats and even doing laundry together because the washing machine broke. One of the things I love the most is to see how much we change and grow with time, but our friendship remains the same.

Now I know that true friends won't tell me I'm right even if I'm not just to make me happy. They'll always be honest, even if it's not what I want to hear but will never make me feel judged. Friends are those who won't leave your side not only on the good times but also on the bad ones. And even tho we don't see each other every single day, we're there for each other. We just know it!

So yeah, I've told you this before but, you're sisters to me. Sisters I love spending my time with and sharing everything we share. You inspire me, you pamper me, you make me happy, you make the adulting process a lot easier and, I just can't imagine my life without you.

I love you a ton!!
