TonyMoly Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissue | Review |

Hi there!!

Not long ago TonyMoly opened a store near me and I couldn't be happier! With that being said, I've been trying some of their products a little more often now.

Ok, I've shared my love for micellar water before, it is one of my favorite makeup removers at the moment but, I've always liked cleansing wipes or tissues too because they are super easy to use and even carry around. I've tried other brands before but the only ones that seem to be gentle to my skin are from Garnier, Neutrogena and Missha. (The Super Aqua Perfect Cleansing Tissue are hands down my favorites). Other brands seem to irritate my skin badly, that's why it's always risky for me to try new brands but I wanted to trust in TonyMoly and try their Pro Clean Soft Cleansing Tissues.

Product Description: "The soft cleansing line effectively cleanses away impurities from skin while keeping the skin mosturized"

Where to start... packaging wise they are very simple yet clean. Everything is silver, black and white. It comes with 15 tissues but I believe there is a bigger version. Not sure tho. The tissues have a soft and fresh flowery scent. (or at least it smells flowery to me).

One tissue is more than enough for the whole face, they are very soft and even tho they are soaked in product, they are not super wet which makes them easy to use.
They contain Aloe Vera Extract, Rose Water, Calendula Extract, Cherry Blossom Extract, Hibiscus Extract and Avocado Oil.

I do have to say that even tho they remove most of my makeup easily, leaving my sking feeling fresh, clean and moisturized, it's not the best option when it comes to removing waterproof mascaras and eyeliners. That's why I like to remove most of it using other products like the Miniso Sakura Water Bright Cleansing Balm and clean the rest with this wipes.

My makeup after a long day, it doesn't show much and the pic
is terrible but...yeah.

LOL worst pic ever!

No makeup face after using the cleansing tissue.

Other than that, I like them! they are gentle to the skin, the scent is not annoying and they do the job.
If I had to rate them I'd give them a 4/5 only because of that waterproof makeup thing.

Would I buy it again?
Defo, they are great, travel friendly and they are also very affordable.
Nothing beats Missha so far tho. Hehe

My updated Skicare Routine | ☼ Morning and 🌙 night |

Hey sweets!
It's been a long time since I did and updated skincare routine post. I was checking my last (and only) one and all the products I used back then have changed.
I have to say that I keep my skin care short and quick becasue I usually don't have time for many steps in the morning before work so, don't expect too many products here. What I can say is that it has been working well with me and my sensitive skin.

What I've learned with time is that it is good to invest in quality products because a good skin will make any makeup brand look good. It's all about having a healthy skin.

Now I can say I am a lot more commited to my skincare than I was a few years ago and even tho there are weeks when I don't use facemasks, my day and night routine remain the same.

Let's start with my morning routine:

I always start it washing my face with cold water and the MINISO Cotton Mild Cleansing Foam. The cold water helps me to depuff my face and to feel more awake. I changed to this cleanser after using the MISSHA Creamy Latte Cleansing Foam for years. I like it because it is super soft and foamy, is gentle to the skin and it doesn't have any scent to it.
Product features: "Cotton soft texture. Bring you a comfortable and pleasing cleaning experience. Gently lifts away oil and impurities from your skin, leaving it beautifully cleansed and refreshed."

Next step is toner, I'm currently using the MINISO Nourishing Moisturizing Toner that, even tho it has a gelish kind of texture, it's super watery and it absorbs quickly. This one doesn't have any scent and it automatically leaves my skin looking and feeling moisturized and soft.

Moving on to mosturizer. The Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Cream has been a must for me since I discovered it. It gives an instant glow to my skin, leaving it soft and mosturized all day. It also gives it a dewy look I love. It contains Super Hyaluronic Acid and it also plumps wrinkles and fine lines.

Last step, before applying my makeup is sunscreen. It doesn't matter if it's sunny or not, I always make sure to apply it. I went back to the Mary Kay Suncare Sunscreen with SPF 50. It is not as thick as others, it blends well with my makeup and it doesn't give me that ghostly looks other sunscreens do.

Ah! Can't forget about lip balm. I'm still loving the Tony Moly Bbo Bbo balm as my fist lip balm of the day. It makes a big difference when I apply my lipstick.
And, that's it! We're done with the morning skincare routine.

Some of my night time products are the same as morning so I'll just mention them.

🌙

Removing my makeup has to be one of the most satisfying things to do at the end of the day, for that I'm using the MINISO Sakura Water Bright Cleansing Balm as well as the  NIVEA MicellAIR Expert micellar water. I switch between those two depending on the mood.
I'm a big fan of micellar water and this particular one is great when it comes to removing waterproof makeup. Both products are very effective, the difference is, micellar water removes my makeup faster than the Sakura balm.

After that I wash my face using the same Cotton Mild Cleansing Foam..
Then is time for toner and moisturizer, Miniso Nourishing Moisturizing Toner and  Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Cream (because I read you can also use it as a night cream).

As for eye cream, I use the Anti-aging, firming eye cream from Deliplus. I got this one in Spain so I'll have to find a new one once I finish it.
This cream is very watery and light compared to others I've used. It doesn't have any scent and it's gentle to the skin which is a big plus considering my eyes easily react to products.

Last thing would be, again, lip balm. The Tony Moly Bbo Bbo balm.

Also, I exfoliate my face twice a week using the Bioré charcoal scrub which is super soft and gentle. I usually like scrubs to be a lot more rough but this one has been working well for now.
And, can't forget about facemasks. I usually go for sheet masks but I also like to try others, depending on what my skin needs. I always go for Freeman masks whenever I don't do sheet masks. As for those, I like to try different brands. Mostly Asian ones.

And, that is it for my current skin care routine. Hope you found it helpful in a way just keep in mind what works for me may not work the same for everyone. ♡

🌾 MINISO Sakura Water Bright Cleansing Balm 🌾 Review

Hi sweets!
I want to show you the latest addition to my skincare routine, it is a product I was really looking forward to try for some time now and, now that I finally did, I think it was worth it.

Spring means it's Sakura season in Japan and Korea and it also means it's my chance to find some sakura related stuff because well... I'm obsessed~

But yeah, this product is the MINISO Sakura Water Bright Cleansing Balm that, as it says, it's a cleanser that can also remove makeup. I've it been using it for about two weeks now and I really like it.

Let's get into it!

As usual, I'm gonna start with the packaging which was the first thing that caught my eye. Everything is pink! Even tho it's cute, it still looks pretty simple and clean.
We have a beautiful pink pot with 100ml of product. It is, again, very simple but cute with a sakura print detail on the lid. Love it!

It also comes with a spatula, which I appreciate. It makes the whole application process a lot cleaner.

Moving on to the product, it says it is a refreshing sakura cleansing balm that gently removes skin impurities and controls oil.

The texture looks a little waxy and thick at first but it melts as soon as it makes contact with your skin, becoming very creamy and easy to work with. It has a very soft flowery scent that I find very
relaxing.

How to use:
1. Put appropriate amount on hand and gently wipe to remove makeup and skin wastes.
2. Gently rinse off with warm water to hold moisture in your skin.

I use 1 full scoop of product and gently massage my face with it, as I massage, I can see the makeup coming off. It does take a while to remove waterproof makeup so I'd suggest taking your sweet time but, it gets there eventually.
Once I rinse it off, I find my skin makeup free and really soft without any greasy or sticky feeling.

My makeup by the end of the day

makeup melts with the balm

clean, fresh no makeup face after using the balm

If I had to rate it I'd give it a 4/5 đŸŒžđŸŒžđŸŒžđŸŒž just because I admit using micellar water removes my makeup faster. But other than that, I like it. It is gentle to my skin, it didn't cause any reaction and... it does the job!
Add to that how pretty it is.

Would I buy it again?
Totes. It is true that Miniso has its hits and misses but this one is defo worth trying.

My 3 favorite foundations: From full to light coverage

Hey there dollies!

I don't know if this could count as a part of the monthly favorites but, I was kinda looking forward to share with you the 3 foundations I've been loving lately. I've been using them for a while now and what I like about them is I can reach for them depending on the finish and coverage I want.
I'll show you what I use when I need a full coverage, a lighter one and a very light coverage with a nice, natural glow. Cuz yeah, I'm into that dewy look.

We'll talk about a foundation, a BB Cream and a CC Cream...Here we go!!

WARNING: Sorry in advance for the bad looking pictures, I pretty much took them when I was doing my makeup in the morning so, you'll see bad hair and all that. Light can also change cuz I took them on different days at different hours. My hair looks too dark! LOL

On those days when I need a full coverage I always go for the e.l.f Flawless Finish Foundation with SPF 15. I'm using the shade "Porcelain" (83111).
This is a very lightweight foundation that lasts the whole day. Originally, it says it'll give you a matte finish but, it gives you more of  a dewy look without feeling sticky or thick on the skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you have oily skin cuz I'm sure it'll look a bit shiny at the end of the day but other than that, I think it is a great foundation. Price is also very affordable.
I gave one to my mom as well and she loved it!

Left is no makeup face and Right is my face after applying the foundation (and some concealer)

For a medium coverage I go for the Killing Me Zombie BB Cream with SPF+ PA+++. It claims to have 3 functions: Whitening, UV-block and Wrinkle Care.
At first I only got it because of the whole Zombie concept and honestly, I didn't like it but, as I used it a little more, it grew on me.
The formula is a little thicker than the e.l.f. one and the color is has a slight gray tone to it but, as it sets on the skin, it matches my skin tone. It doesn't have a matte finish, I'd say it gives you a dewy look as well.
Durability is great and even tho the formula is not lightweight, it doesn't feel thick on the skin. The only thing I don't love about it is that it feels a little sticky.
I love BB Creams and I'd say this is not my ultimate favorite but, it is still a good product.

same here, left no makeup face and right, face after the bb cream.
As you can see, the color is a little lighter than the e.l.f one

And, for those days when I'm having a good-looking skin and I can use something with a light coverage, I reach for the y.e.t Trick Play CC Coushion with SPF50+/PA+++. It's supposed to have a whitening and ant-wrinkle effects. The one I have is on the shade "21 Milky Beige". This is also my first time trying cushion foundations and a CC Cream so yeah, I was very excited! I was actually thinking about making a separate post about it but, I'll include everything here.
What I noticed from this brand is that they have a good variety of colors. Some were more yellow based, others more tanned and lighter shades (like the one I got).
First of all, the packaging is really nice (kinda big tho). It looks all clean in white, orange and silver. It comes with a nice sponge thingy and a lid to separate the sponge from the product. The color looks slightly darker on the cushion but once it's applied on the skin it looks lighter. Then again, this one gives you a healthy, dewy look so, I don't think it'd work for oily skin.
Durability is good, but I don't know if there are better ones out there considering this s my first CC cushion.
I usually apply some concealer before using this one to cover my red spots. I love how it makes my skin look as if it had a natural glow.
It has a very soft flower scent to it but is not something I can't deal with.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the sponge. I usually use my beauty blender after applying the product with the sponge. It helps me to blend it a lot better.

Left no makeup. Right CC Cushion

Also, when I want to have a matte finish, I use the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in "Sandstorm" (004). I've been using it for years and I still love it!

As for concealer I've been loving the TonyMoly Cover Pot Concealer Face Mix in 01 "Natural Beige". This one is a little thick but has a great coverage. (And I think it is really cute!)

This is it for now, I hope some of you find this helpful in a way, this could change as I keep trying products but these are the faves at the moment.
Let me know if you have some faves I could try!

Beauty Haul: Avon, Flormar and Korean face masks

Hello sweeties!

These past few weeks I had the impulse to buy makeup and skin care stuff again, whithout noticing, I managed to have enough to make a little Haul for you!
I haven't had the time to really just go shopping and but things so, I've been ordering some stuff...I'm still in the process of trying and testing so, more info to come when I do that.

Let's take a look!

~ AvonUltra Luxury Eye Liner: in Black. Out of all the eye liners I've used so far this it the one to keeps me away from looking like a raccoon by the end of the day. I like the twist thingy version of it but, oh well. It'll be next time.

~ Avon Crystal Nailwear Pro +: In the color Silver Crystals. I just looooove how this color looks! you know I can always fall for glitter nail polishes and this one wasn't an exception. I really can't wait to use this baby! Many colors from this collection are super pretty! I need more! #Bwahaha

~ Flormar Matte Nail Enamel:: I showed you guys some of the nail polishes I got shom this Turkish brand. The colors are definitely beautiful. This matte collection is also great! I like matte polishes but I only got one to see how good this one was. (I've had bad experiences with matte polishes before) This one is called Burgundy in Matte and it's a blood-type kinda red that I think would be perfect for Halloween season.

~ Flormar SuperShine lipstck: in Summer in Paris (513). Yup, I'm buying more corals...hehe. I've used this one a couple of times now, it is not super long lasting and the color is a little pearl-ish. I did not expected that. It is still really pretty tho. The one thing I don't like is that it makes my dry lips look well...dry! Even if I apply some lipbalm before the color.

~ Korean facemask from G&S Cosmetics and Y.E.T: I've used the Y.E.T ones before but I'm extra excited about the animal mask and the black mask. I really wanted to try black masks for a while now. Animal masks are always fun!

~ Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser: which also works as a makeup remover. This is one great, great product but I'll get to it in a separate post. Maybe an updated cleansing routine?

And this is it for this beauty haul! Than again, sorry for being so absent in here but the blogging muse still refuses to go back to work. #LazyAsTheMaster~~~ hohoho
