Makeup Haul!

Hello dollies!

I have a little makeup haul for you today. I know, I feel like I've making hauls too often but, there's a lot I wanna share! And when it comes to makeup, I get too excited, hehe.

Some of the products were gifts from Omma and I bought the others. I'll start with the gifts.

♥ NYX Eyebrow Pencil in Light Brown (EP01) the color is pefect for my ginger brows!
Check out my latest "How I do my "Carrot" brows" for more deets on this brow pencil.

♥ Beauty Paris Nail Polish "Party" I'm really looking forward to usit for the holiday season. It is a very pretty red color. This one is from Spain.

♥ Kim Taylor Nail Polish "Sangria" (KT.103) which is a super pretty strawberry-ish deep color.

Now, here is what I bought in the past few days:

♥ Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Polish "Vintage Leather" I really liked the color cuz I thought it'd be great for the fall season. It has a leather-ish finish, it's super matte but sadly the durability is NOT good. My nails chapped the same day I applied it, I had to put SO many coats to keep them decent.
More on this nail polish? Vintage Leather

♥ Revlon Color Bust Lip Gloss in "Sunbaked" (044) I'm not a gloss lover but I really liked the color and thought it would be good for the fall season. I've been more into natural colors for my everyday makeup lately so, yeah. Not loving it tho!

♥ CoverGirl lipstick "Sultry Sensuelle" (200) this lipstick and the lip gloss look pretty similar. I actually wear them together sometimes. The thing I didn't liked about this one is that it dries my lips SO much, even when I wear chapstick before applying it.

Not happy with this lipstick...

I don't buy Maybelline or CoverGirl that often and I gotta say I'm a little disappointed with what I bought... Oh well~

I should stop buying stuff for now...at least for me! Gotta focus on my Christmas gift shopping! Would you like to see a Christmas shopping haul?? Let me know!

Vintage Leather

Hey there!
This is what I'm currently wearing on my nails. It's the Maybelline New York "Vintage Leather" nail polish.
I really liked the olive green / gray-ish color cuz I thought it'd be perfect for the fall season, I just didn't thought the "leather" would have something to do with the finish of this polish.
It dries super fast and the finish looks like actual leather, it's kinda opaque and funny looking~ (or maybe I'm just not used to it.)

I had to apply like 3 coats to get a nice and strong color. Sadly, the durability is not great. My nails chapped the exact same day I applied it~ truly disappointing.

This is my first time buying a nail polish from Maybelline and I was expecting a lot more! I've bought cheaper polishes that last a lot more~~~~~~ There is something about polishes with certain "effects" that never work well for me.
Anyways, the color is pretty but I had to apply coats daily to keep it looking decent for a few days.

What's your experience with Maybelline nail polishes? Let me know!

My Simple Everyday Makeup.

Hello sweets!

Today I'm gonna show you my super simple everyday makeup. This one is especially for my sweet friend Jaydee.

As time goes by I feel like less is more when it comes to makeup, so I think this look would be easy to create if you're starting with makeup or if you don't feel like using too many products or tricky techniques.
This is what I usually do with my makeup for work, it also takes me only about 15 minutes to do it so, it is really a good option for those who have not much time in the mornings.

I've been obsessing over lip tints and gradient lips lately!

Here are the products I used:
♥ Garnier BB Cream. Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector. In "light/Medium". I have to say that this is /not/ my favorite BB Cream to use (not saying it's bad though) but after trying some Korean BB Creams, others just don't feel the same. I'm basically using this one to finish it. I would feel bad throwing it away if it still has product left. The coverage is good but the color is a bit too dark for my skin tone~

♥ Beauty Control Extra Help Concealer. In "light" My dad gave me a few of this a while ago and sadly I'm running out of this one and since I don't know where to find it, I'll have to try a new concealer. This one is very thick, that's why I use just a little of it. It's a really good concealer though.

♥ Etude House Baby Doll Puff. Aside from being really cute, beauty blenders help you to have a more natural finish when applying your foundation, concealer, etc.

♥ Meilaya Pressed Powder. This is a Chinese brand, don't know if it's well known or not but it works good for me.

♥ CoverGirl Brush

♥ Kiotis Colors Brow Pencil "coffee"

♥ Kiotis Brow gel

♥ L.A. Colors Eye liner "Deepest Brown"

♥ L.A. Colors Eye Liner (AE665) "White"

♥ TonyMoly Cats Wink Mascara

♥ L,A. Colors Simmering Loose Eyeshadow w/brush in (SE111) "Snow White"

♥ Blush in "Rose Silk"

♥ Maybelline New York Baby Lips. 30 "Peach Kiss" Since I always have very dry and chapped lips, I try to apply a lip balm before lipstick. It has a very neutral color. Baby Lips + Orange/Coralish lip tins = ♥ hehe,

♥ Etude House Color Pop Shine Tint. #03 "Vita Pop!"

I hope you guys liked this look, I'm leaving the video version down below for those who are not really into reading and feel more like watching.

This is also my first makeup related video ever! I'm not too sure how I feel about it though and I'm sorry for the bad audio~ I'm still learning a lot about editing. Hehe. What do you guys think?

True Blood inspired make-up: Fangtasia's leading lady, Pam.

Hello tasty humans!

Pam (played by the beautiful Kristin Bauer Van Straten) has always been one of my favorite True Blood characters, and since season 6 keeps getting better and more intense each episode I decided to try a Pam inspired look. Sadly I couldn't match it with a hairstyle cuz my hair is way shorter than hers.

Pam always wears awesome outfits and in my opinion her make-up is pretty much about the eyes. For this look I wore smoky eyes using two shades of grey, black and lots of eyeliner and mascara. A very soft Pink blush and 2 different lipsticks to kinda create 2 versions of this look since I've seen Pam wearing super bright lips and soft and natural ones. I don't have Pam's super sexy, voluptuous lips though. :P

Softer lips look.

Red lips look.

I had lots of fun trying this look on even though I never wear this much make-up. Hope you guys like it!

Secret agent N1 concealer
Rimmel London base powder 004 Sandstorm
L.A. Colors Stormy (EP46) eyeshadow palette
Profusion Matte Eyeshadow 90 (black eyeshadow)
L.A. Colors Eyeliner P601 Black
Maybelline New York Volume'Express mascara
Jordana 32 Rose Silk blush
Avon Hot Cappuccino (softer lips)
Avon Pop Red (bright lips)

Vamp kiss!

Baby Lips

Hello babies!

Even though I was happy using Labello to help me with my forever dry and chapped lips my search for the perfect lip palm never stops.

Reading a magazine I found a comment from one of the fashion editors saying how great this lip palm was so I definitely wanted to try it and see if it was as great as she said.

It was actually really easy to find! I saw it at Wal-mart on the make-up apartment for a really good price. (really close to Labello's)

It's Maybelline "Baby Lips", the one I got is Peach Kiss (30) cuz it's a nude color and you can actually wear other lipsticks on top. (Which I haven't) But they have some other colors that can be used as a regular lipstick.

I'm not saying that Labello is not good enough but this one is my new favorite! Only cuz it lasts longer. At has a good smell too.

My sister's been trying the clear Baby Lips shade and she's really happy with it too. I think I'll try some other colors soon!

Baby kiss! X

Romantic pink

While taking some pics for Valentine's Day posts, I decided to create an All-in-pink makeup for Valentine's Day.

With my eyes I decided to use a soft pink as a base and then add some hot pink eye shadow from the middle of the eye, to the rest of it. Then added some eye liner and mascara.

I don't usually wear pink on my cheeks but since this time it was All-in-pink, I used a hot pink blush powder.

Finally, Lips! Lips have a with a shiny pearlish hot pink.

On my face:
♥ Base powder: 004 Sandstorm by Rimmel London (one of my fave makeup brands)
♥ Eyes: 30 cuarteto by Bissú professional (hot pink), Pink avenue princess by Beauty control 12499 (soft pink, this one I got as a gift so, I don't really know where to find it but it's a lovely color), Eye liner P601 Black by L.A. Colors, Mascara Volum´Express by Maybelline New York (I always go for water proof)
♥ Cheeks: 32 rose silk by Jordana
♥ Lips: 570 Mauvelicious by Cover Girl

Hope you guys like this makeup idea for Valentine's Day :)
